Welcome back!
Here's my list of suggestions, why, and links to where to get them. A few are only available on computer, but you'll see which ones:
As for if you should give 1 or 2 gifts, I think 2 might be a lot of fun! But it might depend on what the "1st place" person has on their list and what you want to give them! I'd say make the decision based off of what you want to give the main winner! =)
===========
EDIT - 3DS Games to consider:
edit 2: P.S: I'm new. I'll be making an intro post hopefully tonight! So hopefully it's alright that I posted here first. I was just excited, as I'm a gamer and love helping people with what to play next. In any event... HI!!
edit 3: I just made my [INTRO] post. It's here if you/anyone's interested.
First off I'll simply say if you're looking for a game that you can sit down and play for hours on end, avoid the Animal Crossing games(at least the first one and the newest one) unless you're the type of person who enjoys messing around with making clothing designs or just wandering around enjoying the sights.
If you have experience with the AC franchise after the first game, I can't give a good review compared to anything but the first game as I've never played the sequels, but as someone who was really hoping for something very similar to the first, it was more than worth my purchase.
What is there to do?
The game is entirely in "real time" based on your 3DS clock, so if your clock is set to, say, 10PM, when you start up the game, it'll be 10PM in game as well and most of the shops will be closed and many of the villagers asleep(this can be changed a little, more on that later. Some villagers also stay up longer than others but others also may go to bed earlier than others).
Edit Holidays/events also happen every so often. Things ranging from fishing or bug catching contests, to a summer solstice to an april fool's day event and many many more. Some aren't terribly game changing(the solstice, for example, making it just look like it's day time even at midnight and making villagers stay out very late) while others like the catching contests can give you plenty to do during the day it's going on.
Disregarding time restrictions, you can run around and collect fruit to sell, talk to villagers(more on that later also), visit shops to buy clothing, furniture, wallpapers, carpets, etc etc. Over the course of a week or two, so long as you're playing regularly, you'll likely unlock an island that you can visit to do mini games and(if you're so inclined) collect a crap load of bugs/fish to rake in easy bells(the currency in game).
Speaking of bugs and fish, catching them is a major part of the game as well as not only is there a museum to donate them to to eventually reach 100% with it, but they're also a major source of money, especially early game with the "mainland" bugs.
Regarding my earlier comment about being able to change the times shops open, this is because you're the mayor of the town on the first character you create. You'll be allowed to enact ordinances such as making the town a "night owl" town which causes shops to close later and villagers to stay up later, make a "rich town" making things sell for larger amounts, but also making buy prices go higher, and a few others. You'll also be able to create "public work" projects which amount to you building things such as simple light posts, wells and bridges to things like a campsite, a police station and a club, to name a few of them.
One of, if not the* main draw of the games, though, are the villagers. There's dozens of potential villagers in game and upon making your village you're randomly assigned 4(I think) and can have a maximum number of 9(10 I think with the campsite but that one's temporary). Villagers can move out and be replaced with other random ones so you'll rarely be wanting for variety, though it can lead to some sad times if a favorite moves out unexpectedly. Personality wise there's about 8 or so "types", 4 for each gender, that they can act as, though it may just be me, but it seems very much like each individual one also has their own unique mannerisms to a degree. You can talk to them every day, be given "quests" ranging from picking fruit for them, delivering items for them and going to their house(so nothing too epic or anything). They'll sometimes, if you're on your mayor, also ask you to build certain things for them. There's other things you can do with them, but that should give you a relatively quick overview of them.
Other than the villagers moving in and out, the town also evolves to a degree. After spending certain amounts of bells at certain places or doing other things, the "main street" area which is the main area for shopping will expand it's buildings or add new ones for you to use.
A big time sink for many people is the clothing as well. Not only can you collect various types like shirts, pants, shoes, socks, glasses, helmets, etc etc, but you can also make your own designs for shirts and dresses. On the 3DS they've also included a QR system in which you'll eventually unlock the ability to download QR codes that are all over the net and even upload your own.
The other main draw of the game is the housing system. Upon arriving at the town you'll be given a house that you can pay off the loan for and, if desired expand it several times. You can obviously collect and fill it with furniture but also now customize the outside, from the fence around it, to the mailbox, to the walls and roof and door. A fun system is also the feng shui which can give you better luck with various in game mechanics by putting colored pieces of furniture in the "correct" places in your house. You'll also eventually get to have your house graded each day based on various factors.
Sorry for the long post, but that should basically sum up everything you can expect from the game, for the most part. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions, too!
Verdict: If you enjoy games that are pretty primarily geared towards a more casual "pick up for an hour a day" style, then I'd say definitely go for the game as it's worth the money. Totalbiscuit described it well, in my opinion, in saying that it boils down to basically being a "daily quest", but you don't actually have to do anything each day as the only way in which that harms you is that some things may take longer to build. All in all it's a game about having fun, not challenging yourself or trying to overcome obstacles. You can set your own goals, but nothing in the game is really "forced" on you after the tutorial, and even then you don't have to do the entire thing.
EDIT The game's also on sale for about $5 off on Amazon at the moment. http://www.amazon.com/Animal-Crossing-New-Leaf-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B0053BCML6
OH OH BOY I can talk a lot about this. I literally just sat back in my chair and stretched my fingers so that I could write this comment. Ok. Here goes.
I think I've typed enough but I could definitely keep going. Basically, if you ever want recommendations for games just hit me up, folks! :P
Bonus: Capes are for superheros and they need them to fly. It is known. But what most people do not know is that while they need the cape to fly, they need sour candies to stay in the air. It's a real conundrum with the scientists over why. Why are sour candies the fuel that keep them afloat ? It just is. It is known.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Yes, with a ton of work, dedication, and actual real-life money spent, and the right 3DS firmware version.
SUPER LONG ANSWER: Yes, with Homebrew (currently not feasibly achievable with the current firmware version), a PowerSaves device, the proper firmware version (reiterating because it is literally impossible to do on some of the more recent ones). Some valuable resources, in a short form, are this 3DS Homebrew guide, this PowerSaves device purchase page, and this encouraging potato. More than likely, if you're running the proper firmware version, you'll only be able to use OoTHax, which uses an exploit with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (cartridge only, sorry). So here's a purchase page for that, too. Both a Nintendo Selects version and a non-Nintendo Selects version will work, as long as it's a cartridge.
And that's just the basics to get your Homebrew working properly. You'll need the Save Manager Homebrew App, which can be downloaded from a link in this reddit thread in order to export the save data from the 3DS to your SD card, and then this beautiful site in order to actually edit your save data. Since you're only going for a backup, though, I'd recommend just saving the files put onto your SD card by Save Manager (something like garden.dat, exhibition.dat, etc.) and tucking them away in a folder somewhere on your computer. After you backup your files on your computer, you are free to delete your town as you wish and start anew. When you want to return to the old town, just backup your current town's files to your computer, and put the old town's files onto your SD card.
And, uh, one more thing, which I'm going to bold and italics because it's extremely important, no matter which route you go for save backing-upping: Nintendo was VERY smart about the way Animal Crossing: New Leaf deals with save data, and because of this, every single save has it's own unique key. If, for some reason, the game is expecting a key for one save (your most recent one, let's just say) and it gets a key for a different save (a random example being someone else's saves), the game will delete all the data, and wipe the keys, making it only possible to restart ALL over without any way of recovering or restoring from any prior backups. The site I linked you to has a way to make sure that any save put through it can sync up with the current save key, and the Save Manager Homebrew app does, to my best understanding of many uses of it, automatically sync the keys up. I think. I've never really had any problems, and I'm telling you almost 100% exactly how I do it, so you probably won't have any problems either.
(coughs) Did I go a little bit too far there? Nevertheless, everything you need to do is contained within this post.
Shin Megami Tensei IV and its sequel Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. You may be familiar with the franchise already, the popular Persona 5 is a part of it.
My other big recommendation is Bravely Default, and its sequel Bravely Second. The combat is also the most impressive thing about the game, and its hard to explain, so try the free demo for either game on the eShop. If you do try the Demo, and beat it, it gives you a bonus if you play the full game. Both are fantastic games, and are throwbacks to classic Final Fantasy games of the NES and SNES era. If you do try either demo and beat it, it will unlock a bonus in its own full game.

Shin Megami Tensei IV
is the ninth official entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series, (if you're following with Megami Tensei, Megami Tensei II, Shin Megami Tensei, Shin Megami Tensei II, Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei, Megami Tensei: if..., Shin Megami Tensei III, and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey). Shin Megami Tensei IV is a sequel to Shin Megami Tensei I and II, although its story can very much stand on its own, as do most other SMT plots. The game was developed by Atlus and released in 2013. SMTIV is very much a dungeoneering RPG; you level up through gaining experience, you gain equipment and loot, and you negotiate with demons during battle and convince them to join you.
GAMEPLAY:
Shin Megami Tensei IV is not an easy game and it's far from a game that holds your hand. If you aren't looking for a challenge, then turn away right now. Gameplay consists of exploring dungeons, fighting monsters and demons in turn-based combat, (to which you can talk with said demons and try to convince them to join you), explore towns, accept sidequests, etc., etc. It's pretty much your standard Role-playing Game. The combat system also features a mechanic called the Press-Turn System; when a character or enemy strikes an elemental weakness of their target, an extra action for the turn is gained. It should also be mentioned there are 4 different endings to achieve based on the many dialogue choices and actions in the story you make.
STORY:
You take on the role of the protagonist, (defaultly named Flyyn), who is one of the few people chosen to become a 'samurai' in the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado, a world that seems to be a mix of European and Japanese culture. You and your fellow samurai are tasked with fighting demons underneath the castle grounds. Unfortunate events begin happening when a Black Samurai visits the kingdom and begins handing out things called 'books' to the local natives. As you and your friends delve deeper underground the castle, questions become answered while many more are raised.
The main characters beside yourself are: Jonathon - a noble of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. He believes in the fair equality of all people and is a gentle soul. Walter - a resident of the Casulary class, much like yourself. You and Walter were raised in poor situations but have now become respected samurai. Walter is a hothead and more than often thinks with his soul, not his head. Isabeau - a strong woman from the noble class who is also apart of your long journey. She questions the many situations your group come across and she has trouble deciding where her beliefs lie...
ART/GRAPHICS/MUSIC WARNING: SKIP THIS PART IF YOU DO WANT TO BE SPOILED OR DON'T OPEN THE IMAGES AT LEAST
SMTIV uses a mixture of 3D polygonal graphics and 2D hand-drawn artwork. The environments are typically in 3D while the enemy battles and cutscenes are all in 2D. Some examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
The art style is very much steeped in a dark tone; you'll be going through kingdoms as well as apocalyptic locations. This is not a happy game; there's little color to be found and nearly the entire world of SMTIV is filled with misery and despair.
The music is easily one of the best aspects about Shin Megami Tensei IV. There are quite a few peaceful tracks as well as many fast-paced battle themes. Hallucination is very much a reference to the title screen of previous SMTs. Kicchigorgi Forest is a great example of a once-beautiful place gone desolate. Battle B2 is a personal favourite of mine as it always pumps me up for a great boss fight.
**MY OWN CRITICISMS*
As I said before, SMTIV does not hold your hand very much. This game is hard and if you're not cautious or prepared, the game can easily wipe your entire party in an instant, even in a random battle. I see it as a dog-eat-dog world, but some see it as unfair and unpredictable, so be wary of this. Many people also have trouble with being prepared for certain areas and bosses and because of this, they'll often overgrind their party and make the game somewhat easy... for a little while. Grinding can be long and tedious in SMTIV but if you don't want to grind, there's the option of using your brain.
While grinding is awful, there's the wonderful alternative of using strategy. I've gotten through SMTIV at extremely low levels, even with weaker demons, because I knew exactly what to do and what to expect. I've gotten through SMTIV without grinding at all, instead relying on what I'm capable of. Of course, this is only expected of you if you're a veteran of the series. Most people will probably have to grind and I think this is where some people lose steam for SMTIV.
The 3D effect of the 3DS is absolutely awful. SMTIV might be the worst '3D' game I've ever seen, no joke. Also, there are few 'animated' cutscenes, and it would've been nice if there were more of them.
FINAL NOTE*
Personally, I think this game is freaking amazing and being an RPG veteran, I absolutely adore what SMTIV is. The replay value on this one, for me, is high and I'd pop this fucker in any day. The art style is fantastic, the music is amazing, and best of all, the gameplay feels fresh every time I go through it. I love the characters and there are many scenes in the game that resonate with me. On Amazon.com, the game is currently... $20!!! Holy crap, that's an amazing deal! I originally payed $50 for this game, although that version came with a strategy guide, a box, and a sample soundtrack CD.
If you guys have any questions about this game, especially* if you want to prepare for the eventual SMT X FE, then SMTIV is a great place to start and you should totally ask me questions!
Oh my lord! You have missed out on a ton. So for the DS line, HG and SS are the best. The issue is that it's fairly expensive to buy even today. Diamond and pearl were pretty great and as much as platinum is a successor to them, its story is a bit different. Black and white are pretty fantastic. They added more motion to the pokemon during battles. Now if we are getting into the 3DS/2DS games theres a few things to note. I personally though the story of X and Y was really weak and childish compared to the other games. It just felt so far off. OR/AS would be familiar as it's the same story for ruby and sapphire previously but they added a TON of content. Sun and Moon change a lot of stuff. The areas feel more natural and gym battles have been phased out for trials. They were pretty solid games. Okay so if you are debating on buying a 2DS or a 3DS the one thing to keep in is which version are you getting of each. So if you are buying the original 2DS or 3DS you will notice big frame drops during fights in all of the 3DS games. The new 2DS XL has improved hardware to play the games smoothly and will be a bit cheaper than buying the new 3DS. That's pretty much all of my opinions and thoughts on the games.

I think I listed everything you need. If you want the other variant of each game I'm sure itll be listed near the one provided. Pokemon games dont depreciate in price very much so it might get a little expensive. Good luck and and enjoy a fantastic series!
OH GAMES! I can't decide just one so these two are pretty grool:
My favorite game is Touch Detective. I love all of them. I cant wait for the next one! Whenever it actually gets released here that is :( New or used is fine with me! Thanks so much for this contest :) It's an awesome idea!
Well this is a stretch.. but here is my link!
July 8th 2013 is when I added the above to my Electronic Greed list. You can kindly check. :3 The first item applies because animal crossing has a gorilla towns person I believe. I honestly don't know if it's from this version or the other previous, but I remember seeing it on a youtube video and it's when I was looking up New Leaf. (Could be in both?)
guerilla gorillas
Thank you kindly for the contest!
EDIT: I would love to be gifted randomly actually. I do love a good surprise if I happen to win please.
I have two Etrian Odyssey games but I have not had a chance to start playing either one as of yet, unfortunately. That being said, I cannot really compare Bravely Default / Shin Megami Tensei IV to Etrian Odyssey.
However, I have played both Bravely Default / Shin Megami Tensei IV, and I, personally, enjoyed Bravely Default a lot more than SMT4. Other individual opinions will vary.
The play styles between the two are very different, so it would come down to what style you enjoy more.
One thing I really enjoyed the most about Bravely Default over Shin Megami Tensei IV was the fact that there was voice acting for 90% of the dialogue in the game.

Hope I'm not too late, but as someone who enjoys fantasy games and shooters, I'd recommend the following:
____
Recommendations for no particular reason
__
PS. I see a lot of people mentioning Pokemon, but if he hasn't shown interest in Pokemon by now he may not like it. It seemed like the perfect game for me but I just couldn't enjoy it half as much as everyone else does.
Tyara, I'm not used to the username yet.
/u/bookishgeek (I've never tagged anyone before, I hope I did it right). She is the reason I now exist on this subreddit and I can't thank her enough for showing me that such an amazing group of people exist. This little community gives me something to look forward to each day <3
Bookishgeek and I have been friends for a long time online and we share little things from our every day lives, to things that haunt us, and things that make us smile. She has always been a kind friend to me and given me solid advice. I've watched her go through some major life changes and come out better than ever. She's a strong one, I'll tell you that! And I've also been lucky enough to see her kitty Pixel grow up through pictures. Even though we've never had the chance to meet in real life, I hope that one day we will get that opportunity.
This 3DS game is on her wishlist and I know how much she loves her 3ds! Plus, it's the month of spooky things and what better to get as a gift than a spooky game?!

Here are some of my recommendations
I won't go into the DS recommendations...since dang there are TONS of amazing games for that system.
I know it's been asked a million times, and I have done some searches on it. But i'd like to ask myself. If I could buy 2 games right now, which ones should I get? A XL is on it's way as we speak and I plan on getting mostly long and/or replayable games for it as PC is my 'Buy lots of cheap games and play a little of all of then' and consoles for me are more 'Buy a few really good games and play them a lot'.
Ones i'm looking at, as they're on sale at Amazon:
Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've never played a Zelda game, but a friend has said good things about this.
Super Mario 3D Land: I haven't played a Mario game since the late 90s on a NES, plus i've heard good things about this game.
Mario Kart 7 Another of the games i've hearing 'Must have' from.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate I've heard good things about this game, but not so much the way it controls on the 3DS, so I want it but I don't want to invest in the CPP right off, so I might have to wait on it.
And finally, Super Street Fighter IV It's at a better sale than the others, but i've heard mixed things about the game itself. Some say it's alright for a casual experience (which is what I am with fighting games anyway) others say it's 'meh'.
Of course, any suggestions are welcome. I know I passed over the RPG games that people love, but I didn't see any on sale.
Can't decide, so here are my options! Any of those will be great!
And my favorite game is... good ol' Shadow of the Colussus! I used to play it like there was no tomorrow on my ps2
That's a nice contest OP, thanks for doing it!
EDIT: added the links, and formatted a bit
Just to add:
GAMES TO PICK UP ASAP:
"Ocarina of time 3DS" & "A Link Between Worlds"
>..Both are amazing masterpieces & now have Nintendo Selects repackaging (>$20).
"Triforce Heroes"
>(bit different and not the funnest, BUT it's cute and can be picked up really cheap at the moment).($15-$20).
Purchase through the Nintendo Virtual Console when available:
(usually $7-$10)
"Link's Awakening:"
>(Amazing)
"Link to the Past:"
>(Amazing---> BUT A Link Between Worlds is sort of an updated "spritual successor" to it)
"Original LoZ & Zelda II"
> (...are a bit dated...you can find them for free on many easy access emulators online first to see if you want
to truly play through them.)
ZELDA TITLES YOU MAY WANT TO WAIT ON:
"Majora's Mask 3DS:"
>is absolutely incredible, but maybe wait to see if it's made into a "Select" title in the near future, as for now it's a bit pricey, (bout $40)
-Same for these two:
>(both great & I doubt they'll be remade, but check around carefully as they tend to be pricey):
"Spirit Tracks:"
>(>$50-$100)
"Phantom Hourglass"
>(>$50-$100)
ALSO FUTURE REMAKES TO WAIT FOR:
"Hyrule Warriors:"
>Will have a full version w/ ALL DLC INCLUDED on the Nintendo Switch (2018-2019ish)....So I would wait for that ( atleast so it can cause 3DS price to drop if you really want 3DS version instead)
-Many speculate:
>"Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasions" to be the next titles to get a future "Link Between Worlds"-ish remake treatment, not confirmed for sure, so if you want, they are very fun & usually on the virtual console for cheap.
{Honorable Mentions:}
>"Minish Cap" (GBA game, really cool zelda game, may pop up on virtual console or something in the future)..(no idea)
>"Four Swords" (ALTTP) (Was a GBA repackage, very fun, possible to see on virtual console for download in the future)...(no idea)
1: I've been trying to save up for more games for the new 3ds that my bf and I just bought to share, namely this game.
2: We don't have a lot of extra income so getting the 3ds was something we worked towards for a long time, and just because games are pretty expensive we don't have many. But we both love to play and it's something we love to share together. :)
Saving Private Ryan!
Thanks for the great contest! <3
Hello! I think you're looking for Animal Crossing: New Leaf or its updated packaging Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo – "Welcome amiibo" is a free downloadable update for the original, so in either case you'll get access to the same game. There are some spin-off titles and some older entries in the main series, but New Leaf is the game AC fans spend most time in.
The game's built-in tutorials are the best way to get started, and you have to play through them to progress anyway so you might as well go through them without spoiling anything by reading too much about it first!
When you get bored or confused or find a particular goal you want to accomplish, you might want to check out this subreddit's FAQ or simply search past posts for advice, but when starting out you'll almost certainly have more fun just wandering around, interacting with animals and objects and discovering things for yourself.
THANKS FOR THE CONTEST BUDDEH!
Zweihander Zweihander Zweihander Zweihander are AWESOME!
Oh I love this!
7.A game!
14.Jade is natural right?
19.Gardening and for my mother
I think you're picking up these!
And happy cake day!!
I've been dying to play Mario Kart 7. I adore all the Mario Kart games so of course, I know I'll enjoy the newest installation for the 3DS! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my paws on it because it's so darned expensive. Even when it's used at places like Gamestop, it's still about $30, despite it being one of the first 3DS titles to be released. It will be less expensive used, so definitely buy a used copy! I love me the used games.
My favorite game is... Pokemon Mystery dungeon for the DS. Oh. My. Gosh. YOU NEED TO PLAY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. It's the best Pokemon game, in my opinion. You get to play as a Pokemon and explore with your cute little Pokemon teammates while fighting crime and shit. It's also pretty emotional. I actually cried near the end. Good stuff.
Well, thanks for the contest!
When i was 5 years old i discovered the mario series. the very first 2d scroller i was good at because the only game i remember playing before was zelda 2 and it was impossible. Any way the mario series brought me to nintendo the company that would live a huge whole in my childhood if it were to never have existed. Ive had litterally every mario game in existence over and i love all the series. But one of the games i never got was the new super mario bros 2mainly because when it came out i didnt have my 3ds. So maybe the power of the Eggplant Wizard will choose me in the raffle and i can relive my childhood with another mario game. Thanks for the awesome contest cause i also love video games :)
Gimme some Tech Daddi!
My friend recently got a New 3DS XL after working hard as an animator. She's really excited to play with me now that she has a 3DS but the thing is she wants to play a game I don't have yet. So yeah it would really help me and my friend if I get Animal Crossing: New Leaf :')
You can find the game in this wishlist :D
Also thank you so much for another round of Techmas!!!
If you get a cpp get this one
https://www.amazon.com/3DS-Monster-Hunter-Extended-slide-Nintendo/dp/B00LVRXS8C
Looks weird but I PROMISE the left index circle pad is the best way to play. It takes a typically low use finger (for MH) and gives it something to do, freeing up a high use finger (right thumb) to focus only of face buttons. It is the best way to play monster hunter by far.
I am actually really nervous about sharing this, because I haven't told anyone outside of some close friends about this. But it is pivotal to what makes me love the person I love most ... well, the person I love most, so I'll share it. Worst case scenario I can delete this comment down the road once the contest is over.
Here is my sketch, and I can't draw, so I am hoping my words will win this for me. ;)
I was once engaged. Almost 2 years ago, there was a ring on my finger. And two months later, he broke it off with me. I was distraught, anxious, and I lived with the guy, so I moved back home for a month to sort things - ie: my brain - out. While there, I was drinking wine one night and reactivated my old OK Cupid account. I got a message from some guy who talked about rhetoric - my undergraduate major - and we "got" each other, instantly. We clicked like there was nothing to it.
For that whole month we talked, though hours apart (he lived close to the town I was living in with the fiance). And after that month, we went on a date, and that was just it. We knew. Right then, that was it. We were thick as thieves from day one.
Eventually, he got a job 2 hours away, and we did the long distance thing for about 10 months. Then I got a job near where he worked, and so I moved here, too. And this is where the story gets good/worthwhile:
I went to Publix one day this past February on my lunch break to get some things together for dinner. My purse is an oversized tote bag, as is my reuseable bag that I use for groceries. I got all of my things together for dinner when the boyfriend called from home: he was sick, and wanted some Tums. Okay, great, got it. Grab the Tums, toss 'em in the bag and distractedly run to check out because I'm running late and wanted to take them to him before my break was over. I pay for what's in my bag and leave.
A minute later, I'm walking out to my car. "Ma'am," a woman says, "did you forget to pay for something?" I'm genuinely perplexed. "No?" she points to my tote bag purse. I open it up. Oh, shit. I threw them in my purse by mistake. I flail madly, apologize profusely, tell everyone I'd be more than happy to pay for the cost of the item and then some, but no dice. Publix has a zero-tolerance policy. Cops are called, I'm handcuffed and put in a squad car.
I call work and tell them with as much composure as possible that I can't come back today. I let the cop talk to my boss who thinks I'm lying, and I'm not. They let me use my cell phone and I dial my boyfriend, just sure he'll hang up on me, laugh, not believe me, any number of things.
I explain as calmly as I can that I have been arrested, and how much bail is. His only response is, "Okay."
He banks with a bank that is exclusive to his hometown, 2 hours away. So he gets in his car, drives 2 hours, gets over $1,000 cash out of his bank, and drives back home. Of course, at this point they've decided I am spending the night jail anyway, but I can't call him to tell him that.
Eventually I reach a bondsman via a college call who calls my boyfriend for me (who calls my father via the yellow pages), they get it fixed and my dad is there the next day to bust me out. (the boyfriend had missed 3 days of work due to illness and couldn't miss another).
Sometimes, I wonder when we have an argument what's going on. But then I remember that this man loves me so much that he - unquestioningly - got in his car and drove 2 hours away to get over $1,000 cash so he could get me out of a holding cell.
To me, you cannot love someone more than that. It's one thing to say it, but to actually do it? Another thing entirely.
------------------------------------------
On the offchance that I win, I'd like 2 copies of Mario Kart 7, because we love playing our 3DSs together and we've been pining after it for ages. I would probably cry if we managed to get our hands on that. The other thing would be Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, because we want to play it together - we are about to beat Super Mario RPG tonight and need a new addiction!
------------------------------------------------------
My number guess is 323.
For real though, thank you for this contest. It's given me the courage to finally come forward publicly with a story I've been too afraid of telling. (and for anyone wondering, it's going to be expunged from my record by August).
German not gummy bears buy something like it? Never had them but interested!
A link between worlds is apparently a good game, I'd like to play it some time :)
Thanks for the contest!
The Hyrule Edition N3DS I linked does indeed come with Hyrule Warriors Legends depending on the bundle! I actually bought one for my birthday, and it got delivered today! Here is the bundle I bought:
*Hyrule Edition N3DS
It was worth the money and is a gorgeous N3DS, plus it is XL so it has a decent size screen! If your friends also have 3DS consoles, there is a smash game on that you could all look into. Splatoon was fun, and is really entertaining with friends, but I do find it repetitive after playing for a while. You could also try Amazon to see if they have any decent bundles or sales on consoles, I have seen a few good daily deals over the past year.
EDIT: I looked at your link in another comment, and I don't think that version does come with the game, however you can get it with Triforce heroes for $239.98, but obviously you want Hyrule Warriors, so if you buy the console on gamestop and buy the game here:
Hyrule Warriors Legends
You can get the Hyrule edition console and the game for a similar price! Its actually like $00.02 cheaper! Deals^Deals^Deals!
My favorite game is... Zelda. And Donkey Kong. Because both are full of memories of frustration and laughter with either my younger sister, or my two best friends, and hours upon hours spent playing those games together.
Zelda and used is perfectly wonderful and definitely cheaper.
Thank you so much for the contest <3
Well, if you want to play a Pokemon game and learn more about it, you could always buy a 3DS or 2DS and pick up one of the newer games, but if you don't have the money, then you could always play a rom or watch a playthrough on YouTube.
Here's a couple pretty cheap listings for a console and all of the newer games (Gen 6) if you're intirested: 2DS
Pokemon X
Pokemon Y
Pokemon Omega Ruby
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
But, like I said, if you're not interested in spending money, there's lots of free options to learn about Pokemon as well.
There's one more resource I'd like to link, here's the official Pokedex, so you can see and learn about every Pokemon, old and new: Pokedex
I hope you'll be okay at your new job. At least I think you will. Two of my friends were managers of two different hotels and they both enjoyed it, the pay also wasn't bad. If you ever need someone to vent to feel free to PM me.
I found a couple of things you might like for your new job. Here's some DS games (Im assuming you have one because I saw them on your wish list) super Mario brothers 2 , art academy , the Nintendo essentials pack , and a wall adapter. If you don't want any of those you'll probably need one of these and for lunch one of these.
If I win then this please
Here are the Amazon links to the games I have found, some of them are really expensive.
Some boxart of the games are weird as hell.

We are RAOA. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
Ok, that is cool, how did this implant happen? Was it a medical thing or a did you just have it done for the awesomeness of it? Nevermind, I scrolled down and read your explanation that you posted to someone else's question. How do I get this done myself? I would have to say that that is definitely something I would answer in response to your question.
But as far as more unlikely super powers go, I would like to have the power to communicate with animals. As if we were speaking (or telepathically thinking) english to each other. It could come in handy in many ways. Including learning secrets about other humans because how often do you think of hiding your secrets from your pets or wild animals? And it would have a nice Dr. Doolittle effect and make it really easy to become a veterinarian!
This game would be fun to have, it's playing a game where I would have that power, lol.
The ones I can think of are
Hopefully these help to expand your tastes a bit. Thank you.
I want the Bruins to win. If they do win and I win I would like this game. lets hope they win people!
Oh, wow, Toki Tori, the Gameboy Color game re-released on 3DS... Amazing.
What about stuff like Fire Emblem or Stella Glow or freaking Bravely Default? Amazon has BD for what, $10-15 few times a year? It still costs 40 EUR!
I want sales for good games, not rereleases from Gameboy Color or crappy shovelware. Look at our sale now: some shit like Van Helsing Sniper, Kutar Ski Lift or Atlantic Quest. US has Pokemon Y for $25, Zero Escape for $20, several sales for Majora's Mask for $30 since last week, last week Xenoblade Chronicles for $20...
The only good games EU gets on sales somewhat regularly are Atlus releases or recently lowered permanently Etrian Odyssey. Did I mention Bravely Default, a game that is few years old, yet you had the sequel for $20 just 2 or 3 weeks ago? Yeaaah, we have awesome sales...
I really want Animal Crossing for the 3DS. I have AC for every platform it was made for (its my favorite game) and I would really love it for the 3DS. It sounds like it is going to be a really fun game and if I got it, it would keep me busy all summer break because I would play it 24/7. Which my family would like since I usually am bored since all my friends ditched me
Happy Zambambo!
Thank you for the contest~ Very interesting way to celebrate! Hope you have a great time tonight~~ :)
Wow. You're super awesome for this!
If I win then I just really want Animal Crossing. I'd want you to gift someone else the difference.I do not think Girlsplaywow is a jerk.
Why do you think you're a jerk???
I got AC so im withdrawing. HUGS

Thanks for this. What we should all do is submit these fred meyer links to amazon. You can do this by scrolling down the page to this area, and submitting the link. If we all do this together, I think we can all get a price adjustment via amazon. Game theory is something I think should be taught in public schools. I understand it on only a basic level--pretty much what the Great Wiki has on the header of its list of noteworthy games in game theory. Click around some of the games, too--they're thought experiments that illustrate some really seminal points. The prisoner's dilemma, the ultimatum game, and the dollar auction are some foundational games.
But since we're nerds. Can I recommend a video game that goes in to some great detail about some fundamental game theory experiments?
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward uses the iterated prisoner's dilemma as its central dramatic conceit. If you like puzzle games and anime art styles, it's a great way to have some game theory explained in a cool way.
Edit: I accidentally a word.
My favorite game is... Anything Mario! I'm not a huge gamer (I like board games more), but Mario is always fun to play!
New Super Mario Brothers 2
I'm still a kid at heart!
I've thought about maybe finishing FFX for the first time, or Ocarina of Time, but quite honestly, my favorite one is recent. While playing D&D we made so many pop culture references we got our DM to say "please go back to the Lord of the Rings references."
Tales of the Abyss
Heard Tales of Abyss is a GREAT Rpg, and so is Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei 4 (these are things I've heard.)Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing (I know you said you like RPG games more, but i really like these games.) Any of the DS Pokemon games are pretty darn good and Tomorrow Mario & Luigi Dream Team Is coming out!
You can use retail carts as well but you require a piece of 3rd party hardware - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Datel-Action-Replay-Power-Nintendo/dp/B00CQ9L1Z6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394373293&sr=8-1&keywords=powersaves+3ds
This allows you to extract, back-up and restore your save files and it's these extracted Save Files that KeySav can read to determine SVs for you and your eggs.
My favorite game is Pokemon BUT since I'm currently working on one, Mario Kart 7 is my second. I need this game because I've been playing MK for as long as I can remember but I haven't had the opportunity to play this one yet. Used is always good for me. In fact, I encourage used when it comes to videogames. Thank you so much for the contest.
Hoping they simply drop to a better price. When the MH3U themed grips were first being imported, they were around the same high price, but are about $30 now. Those still seem like a good option for original 3DS owners, although I think the CPP is way better.
Orlando/Kissimmee :D
Probably a hotel or my great aunts!
I would likely take a 3DSXL to play Pokemon, Monster Hunter 3, and Animal Crossing New Leaf to keep me entertained while I'm not exploring haha. Or I'd take a skateboard to learn to skate with haha. There's some sweet parks around there.
Probably my dad or someone else I know.
Holy cow! This is a crazy first contest! :D
I plan to finally go out with a couple of friends on Saturday! I can't wait to have some good fun. I've been missing that. On Sunday, I'm going to hit the gym to take off those calories, haha. :)
Thanks for the contest!! 1.21 Gigawatts!
I've always loveddddd the Animal Crossing series, and I would KILL to play New Leaf! I have so many fond memories of playing the other for hours on my Gamecube. My friends and I would have so much fun!
Luckily enough, New Leaf is on sale today for $26.59. Getting this would knock out half of my fund. :)
EDIT Just realized that the contest ends on the 1st. If the sale is over by then, I'd appreciate a gift card towards it! Thank you!
Eggplant Wizard!
It depends on what the nephews like. If they are more interested in the cards, then this is an excellent gift.
But, if they are more interested in the video games, you might want to ask them if they have the 3DS (the handheld device), and, if they do, get them the latest games that came out just a month ago: Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire
Is a pre-order of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire acceptable? I just really want Pokemon. So bad. So bad. And this is me having faith that you'll have an awesome birthday and win all the money! I'm going to guess you'll win around $120!
Mm.. as it stands right now, your best bet would be Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. The reviews on amazon are pretty spot on if you want more feedback.
Though the 3DS version only has local online feature, while the WiiU version is global online. I think.. every other game in the series has had its online shut down due to age. Though if you like the gameplay itself its definitely worth checking out the rest.
The sense I get is that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is generally regarded as the best in the series and Generations is 2nd at this point. Some people might flip those two but if you were to take a poll I think MH4U might come out on top overall. Plus you can get it for like half the price of Generations so you might be better off, and there are surely many hours to be put into it and by the time you do so Generations might be cheaper by then if you want more. Here it is on Amazon for $20:
https://www.amazon.com/Monster-Hunter-Ultimate-Standard-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B00SX9UD8E/
I think the digital download version is also on sale for $20 on the Nintendo eShop currently since there is a Capcom publisher sale through next week I believe.
As far as some other titles to start a library goes, it depends on what genres you like of course, but it's hard to go wrong with any of the main 3DS Zelda titles (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, A Link Between Worlds), Donkey Kong Country Returns, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Shovel Knight, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Star Fox 64.
Resident Evil Revelations is also very good and currently on sale for $5 on the eShop, which is a steal.

so If I could get a Gift card to help me get the game that would be cool!!! and when I do get it. I might need to get your friend code! :D
Completely agree with this. If you plan to play MH4U at a higher framerate, go for the new 3DS XL, but if you want a better control scheme in terms of camera control with movement and attacking, the original 3DS XL with the hori expansion slide is a great set-up, especially if you are a veteran that's played the PSP version with the claw hold.
Sadly the new 3DS XL is not accessible with this control pad and I don't think it will have one since it has its own control stick.
The link to the control pad is listed below. Though this product is printed in japanese, it is not region locked and can work with any original 3DS XL.

I have it on a N3DS. I personally love it. The art style looks a bit wonky at times, and the entire game runs at 30 FPS (which is standard if you've played multi-player in Hyrule Warriors), but for the most part you'll be getting the same game if you don't play Adventure Mode. There's like... three more missions at the end, plus about four Linkle missions. There's also the Master Quest DLC included in the game, which adds Cia's story missions. It also comes with... I believe six different Adventure Mode maps, which is where you'll get a lot of the Level 2/3 Weapons. The My Fairy stuff also makes things somewhat easier to get A Rank on stuff.
And as to your concern with how many things it can load at a time... well, it's sometimes like the Wii U Version where you're waiting for more enemies to spawn so you can take a keep. At other times, I use the blast from My Fairy and rack up 400+ kills off of it. So yea... YMMV.
Edit: That said, if you have the N3DS (which you do) and enjoyed the original, I'd say the current Amazon ~$30 price tag is an amazing deal on it.
3DS game: Monster Hunter :) I would love to play this game! It appears to be "The bee's knees!" It doesn't get much cooler than taking down giant monsters!
My Favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
So in the Shin Megami Tensei 'main series', Shin Megami Tensei IV (SMTIV) is the fourth game without any significant story ties to the other main series games.
In terms of SMTIV, there are two games: SMTIV the original game, and SMTIV Apocalypse, its sequel. The sequel involves some story elements from the original game, so you probably want to play the original game first.
Here's some basic info: both of them are turn-based RPGs, and the difficulty level is rather high compared to most of the other games on the 3DS. Especially the beginning of SMTIV. Be prepared to die, maybe often. Also, the story is pretty important in this series, so I would suggest playing them in order. The games are both very good, but Apocalypse might be slightly better? I think it's just personal preference. Either way, I'd play both.
I really like this song
I also like listening to tv opening songs, yeah I am weird
If you like my choices I would love a new game
MMFFF. GET A 3DS. I JUST GOT ONE AND NOW I WANT EVERYONE TO GET ONE. (so i can feel closer to you shhhhh)
Maybe it's blasphemy, but do cheap ebay and craigslist first, hahaha. I got mine new, in box from ebay for about 100 bucks. IT'S SUPPOSED TO COME TODAY IN THE MAIL YEEEE.
Hahaha, I don't even have any games yet, so additionally you should get this for the both of us. Or really any game. I'm so excited.
OH and "deputydawg". I'm guessing you had watermelon for breakfast.
Also sorry you're feeling stressed. I throw my cyber affections at you.
I know that feeling. I recently preordered all of those games(sans Harvest Moon) from Amazon. In August I had four 3DS games preordered as well. If feels really nice getting a new game almost every week :-p. Nothing beats Amazon Prime's free release-date delivery!
Now if only I had time to play them.
P.S. You should probably add Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward to the list :-p.
Here's the Amazon link.
Basically, it's a bit like Pokemon in the sense that you can recruit demons to your team. Though to get them, you have to do more than just catch them. You have to talk to them and hopefully choose the right answer(s) to their questions.
My understanding with the story is that you are a samurai who is tasked with protecting your kingdom. The series usually has a rather mature storyline (not mature as in sexual or crude humor). I played the third one on the PS2 when it came out and fell in love with how the story was done and how the choices you make can influence the ending.
This game has been on my list for a while now. (though I move stuff around so the dates never really match up). I wanted it because I had heard so much about it and how good it was, and I've never played the other Luigi's Mansion game so it seemed pretty interesting. Plus the only game I'm really playing on my 3DS right now is Animal Crossing and it'd be nice to have a break from it.
Yes! They came back just a few weeks ago actually. KeySAV and Mass Dumper have made it all possible. If you have the digital copy it's all free. The retail copy needs a PowerSaves device. Those usually run for about $15 so it's not that bad.
EDIT: Cleaned up the links a little bit. The KeySAV and Mass Dumper links are from the Tools in the wiki. I found the cheapest PowerSaves on Amazon and it's apparently $18. The range seems more like $20~40 now. I'm sure you might be able to pick one up at your local gamestop for about 30 bucks.
If you do want to back up versions of your AC cartridge town, this device works pretty well.
I hope you get everything worked out the way you want! :)
I see it, but I know I have to be saving money for two short trips, one in two weeks and another in about a month. So I'm a bit mindful of not taking note of that section and reminding myself of things I want. XD Though, if I decided to get something, it'd probably be Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. I'm excited for that game. :D
/u/mynthe deserves this because she is awesome and sweet and yay!
Yup there is. Powersaves is a cheating device that works for the 3DS/3DS XL, just like the Action Replay works for a regular DS. Powersaves recently released Pokemon X and Y support. With this, people are able to get their savefiles onto their PCs, and using a program called KeySAV (made by /u/Kaphotics, the admin of Pokecheck) you can decrypt the data in your savefile and find out the SVs of your eggs :). I don't have powersaves yet but I managed to get someone to check this egg for me. You can buy powersaves here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Action-Replay-Powersaves-Cheat-Device-Nintendo/dp/B00CQ9L1Z6
Also, if you own a digital copy of X/Y instead of the cartdrige one, you don't need powersaves, you can easily export the save file onto your computer from your SD card. I was probably not very clear on how these methods work, but check the recent updates on the subreddit and you'll understand everything better :).
Dec 19th and it's a boy!

Congrats! I'll be able to find out gender soon myself. Hoping for a boy but either is great.
Happy early birthday!! :D My birthday is the day after yours!
I think you should get this because the game is awesomeeee or maybe this because I have heard good things about it (:
swaggybananas
Which version of 3ds do you have? If you have an original version of the 3ds or 3ds XL I would suggest the claw pad pro I linked to. It puts an additional Circle pad a little below the L button on the system. Gives you have claw feelings and is way more comfortable at the same time.
I honestly have considered buying an OG 3DS again so I can use it with my American release monster hunter games.Though due to time since release they are getting a bit more spendy.... but it is amazing.
edit: Also could try just the normal Circle Pad Pro. 3DS XL OG 3DS

Let me see if I can find Partners in Time. Tales just got a reprint. Amazon And Namco announced that more batches would be coming, so you don't have to worry too much about value. I'd rather do 1:1 for Rumble Blast, or something small with PIT, since Rumble Blast goes for $25 used, PIT $15. After paying for shipping, I'd actually be better off just buying Tales new off Amazon, rather than trading for both.
If you're possibly interested in PC gaming, I have a crapton of steam games I could offer as well.
Yeah I'm hoping to get it as soon as I'm done with finals on Tuesday so I have something to play on the looooong(15+ hour) flight back home... I'll probably end up downloading it though from the eShop (unless they have another eShop sale coming up soon fingers crossed )
Yeah Tales of Abyss is this ps2 jrpg with a great story and big world (for its time) that's been put on 3ds for a while now and it's, from what I've heard, wonderful.
I can't really describe its gameplay well enough but check out the amazon listing:

$0-5 Sink drain cleaner My tub is really clogged even though I just moved in. Gross!

I'm in the middle of doing a giveaway that has 19 boxes of eggs. I checked all them in about 3 minutes time. I use a Powersaves 3DS. It's honestly the best $15 I've spent in a long time.
I bought this one. In case you're wondering :)
Gift One - Animal Crossing New Leaf for my brother
Gift Two - C'mon...gimme. a little surprise for my dogs.
Thanks you guys and you both look quite dapper!

Just like Link said, just gift ideas.
Thanks and good luck to you! i know amazon is having a sale on NSMB2 for $10 off right now
It's this guy right here.
There's also an official Nintendo product called the Circle Pad Pro that's a bit cheaper, but I like the ergonomics on the Hori product better.
And even though they're Japanese products, they work just fine with old-model American 3DSXL's.
> Currently on my 3ds I have monster hunter 3U
I'm sure you'd be okay double-dipping for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U?
You can transfer your game save freely between both versions of the game, plus you can go online and hunt with other people!
Hey man, thinking about purchasing myself a powersave. COuld you point me in the right direction?? I've been doing some research and getting way to many mixed reviews. Which one do you use?
Is this the one I should get? Please help. Thanks in advance!!
http://www.amazon.com/Action-Replay-Powersaves-Cheat-Device-Nintendo/dp/B00CQ9L1Z6
The powersave way seems intriguing to me. So I would need this thing and then the rest of it seems pretty easy to set up and pretty quick after you unlock your boxes. Is that right?
Mine looks like the one on the second link if that helps xD.
Duck Hunt
This is currently my favorite game. :)
Thank you for the contest!
I'm interested in your Zelda Collector's Edition as long is it plays fine. I can offer Lunar: Dragon Song CIB for DS, Shin Migami Tensei IV (Game & Box only) for 3DS, and Final Fantasy III CIB for DS if you're interested in any of those.
If someone is dedicated enough to MH that they'll be able to play in original Japanese, I think they'd have already purchased the game by now.
Besides, unless someone hacks their 3DS, the Region Locking will prevent any stock 3DS from playing a Japanese region game. The rest of us have MHGenerations by now, and it's a similar price on Amazon.
Good luck with that. You're asking someone to never play online again on a original game that they bought with money.
A powersaves costs £12. Buy one and extract your own private header. You can never be sure if someone will play the private header game again. If they do, both parties get banned.
I agree with /u/Seamus9999. The most recent "generation" of Pokémon games are the most accessible they have ever been, and they are a great place for new players to start. You would be fine picking Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.
Pokémon X (currently $35.68)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0053B5RGI/
Pokémon Y (currently $33.83)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0053B66KE/
Pokémon Omega Ruby (currently $39.99)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KI2OZ9M/
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (currently $39.99)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K848IH0/
Mario Kart
I love racing games and Mario just makes it ten times better!
Eggplant Wizard
Normally I would agree, but I really feel like the only person who doesn't enjoy this game. It's like I'm missing something critical in how I'm playing it or something. Maybe it's not for me though. I just don't want to think I wasted $35. But I'm also one of those that gave WoW a decent shot on a couple occasions and never enjoyed it much either, much less get addicted to it.
edit: Look at the reviews on Amazon. There are two 1-star reviews, and I'm pretty sure they're trolling. I don't think I've ever seen a game with more universal appeal. I'm missing something.
I've been thinking about getting a Powersaves device for a while now, and with Porybox out now, it seems like a good time to do it. But just to be sure, this is the correct device, right? If so, I'm just going to order it now!
I'd love Party Of Sin or Shattered Haven :)
I really want this game from Amazon!
Thanks! <3
Take care that the one on fnac is a bit overpriced. I bought this one on amazon (the standard option) with urgent shipping and 1-day delivery (I was a bit impatient) and it cost me something like 24 € altogether. (Shipped to Portugal)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Datel-Action-Replay-Power-Nintendo/dp/B00CQ9L1Z6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482106067&sr=8-1&keywords=powersave
PS: I use the european version too.
I decided to buy new in March-ish this year. Target still has them, and at the time it was 20% off at 31.99 USD. Considering it's a Pokemon game, I wasn't expecting them to dip below retail ever, so I'm very happy with that.
Amazon is offering new for less than retail as well: http://smile.amazon.com/Pok%C3%A9mon-Alpha-Sapphire-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B00K848IH0
Thank you :) Is this the right thing? If so, I can order it now and use OoTHax :) Cheaper than buying a game I'd never play ;)
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for 3DS.
Conception 2 - Children of the Seven Stars
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale
Steam search with the tag "anime" (beware, most are horrid fan service visual novels)
I know you mentioned you don't have any means to play it, but I really can't recommend Persona 4 enough. It's my favorite game of all time and I'm sure it would hit the itch you have.
Hopefully this can help you.

You didn't say what type of 3DS you have but if its an "old" 3ds then i would suggest:
3DS: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LVRXS2I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
3DS-XL: https://www.amazon.com/3DS-Monster-Hunter-Extended-slide-Nintendo/dp/B00LVRXS8C/ref=s9_simh_gw_g63_i2_r?_encoding=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=W8Z7WXZKR84FYV67WZ3A&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=f58829ef-ff4e-4868-b5c8-fe8c3bd9f769&pf_rd_i=desktop
I use the normal 3DS one myself and I love it, takes a bit of getting used to but I cant play without it now.
So to confirm, if I get one of the games, it has to be the physical cartridge (not eshop)? And then I also need a powersave as well? Is that another physical thing I have to buy, or it is just a download?
Additionally, if I go with the Ocarina of Time method (since it's the cheapest one and it's the only one I'd have any interest in as an actual game), does it matter if I have the "Nintendo Selects" version (which is cheaper), or do I need the one that doesn't say that? Is there even a difference?
