Foot rests are awesome, even small ones. I use This and it's pretty good.

I have an ss127. Go on amazon and buy a memory foam seat cushion . It’ll take any discomfort out of the seat I promise. Best thing I’ve bought for my kayak.

As for the perch pads buy some mighty mount rails from yak attack and mount them on the perch pad.

Also the roto grip paddle holder and rail mount cup holder from Yakattack are both great cheap additions. The cup holders oversized so you can mount it on the rail between your legs in the floor and put a drink plus scissors in it. And it’s notched to hang lures off the side.

Socks are super important to me, which I didn't realize until I decided to travel in sandals one summer. Planes get cold! Also, I'm short (5 feet) and I discovered that plane rides are sooooo much more bearable with a small foldable footstool so my legs don't dangle. Generally solutions are to raise the floor to be under your feet or lower the keyboard/chair so you can rest with your feet on the floor.

The target posture you're going for should have your hips slightly above your knees with the keyboard just under your elbow height.

A height adjustable footrest can raise the floor up to the right height (here's an arbitrary amazon one: https://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-4653-Adjusting-Footrest/dp/B00006IAHM) However, that will mean you can only put your feet on the footrest or the base of the chair... you don't have a lot of room to "fidget." More ideally, you'd be able to lower the desk or add a keyboard tray so that you can have your feet on the ground AND the keyboard at the right height.

I have the same issues with seats being too big. I also have chronic pain that affects my hips, so giant seats are really crappy for me. I ordered this folding footstool a couple of years ago and I love it! It's small enough to keep in my purse, and it raises my feet to a comfortable level.
