Mine adds three usb ports to the console that can actually be accessed (since it's impossible to plug 90% of anything into the ones on the console) and has sweet blue lights along the sides.

And it connects through the onboard Bluetooth, the dock is just to charge. I use DS4 Windows for games that don’t have PS4 profiles, which is most old games.
What about something like this ?
IMO this one is better. Costs a few more dollars but it has an additional USB port and can charge 4 controllers instead of 2.
