I bought a set of wireless earbuds and put the phone on the ground near me. It always fell out of my pocket.

Edit: I bought these, cheap and work perfectly -

I've been using Anker SoundBuds Slim+.

Pretty cheap.

Multiple fit options.

Decent enough sound for the price.

The dongle contains a DAC because the phone not have one built-in. The DAC is required and your headphones would not work without it. The dongle could be a little bit smaller, but not by much.

Get Bluetooth headphones.

Best first pair:

Anker Soundbuds Slim+ or Anker Soundbuds Curve

Both of those are under $30 USD, comfortable, water resistant, support aptX, sound great, and have good battery life. I have not seen any other headphones with that many features at such a low price.

I have the Anker SoundBuds Slim+ and Soundcore Spirit. Paid about $30 for each and they are awesome. No problem with connectivity. I can walk 50+ yards away from my phone and still be connected. I like bass and these both sounds great. My friend who had Beats said that the Ankers sounded better. They aren't truly wireless because there is a cord, but I highly recommend either of them.

I understand that you're searching it in Canada but that link you posted is sold by a reseller unlike here, so it's not really doubled

Not sure if these do, seems like it.

I also own a pair of Sony headphones (not earphones) that have HD Audio AAC support that were roughly for the same price.

I think the solution would be either cable strain relief like others have posted, or just remove the cable entirely.

I have one of these, good sound, minimal wires to snag, and often on sale. And while yes, embedded batteries don't last forever, electronics are never truly buy it for life.

  • Budget - Less than $100
  • Source - Laptop, Pixel XL
  • Requirements for Isolation - I would prefer isolation as I will be listening to music while on a train or as I'm walking outside.
  • Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes
  • Preferred Type of Headphone - IEM with volume control. I am looking to buy 2 headphones, one wired and one wireless.
  • Preferred tonal balance - Maybe something that is overall smooth in midrange and have some bass to it.
  • Past headphones - Primarily use Xiaomi Pistons headphones. I also tried the VAVA headphones, but the volume control died after a few months. Anker SoundBuds Slim+ is the wireless bluetooth I'm trying out, but they also have difficulty with volume control.
  • Preferred Music - I listen to EDM a lot, and I'm not sure what the best tonal balance is for it. Typically electro and house music, example: ZEDD, Calvin Harris, Elephante ,etc.
  • What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Mostly more detail and something that's made to last. Volume controls working.

These. Nothing fancy.

We use the Anker SoundBuds Slim+ ($29). They sound pretty good, Bluetooth works great, and are sweat resistant.

I've got a combination, I use these Anker ones most of the time at work, £25 quid and the bluetooth works well. The short cable and carry case should give you less chance to break them.

I also have the M6 Pro (although I paid more like £40 when I got them. They have a nice sound for the price and fairly good noise isolation.

At home I prefer over the ear headphones.

Yeah that was an issue with me as well and I did use the dongle for a while and never had any issues with it myself but I wasn't liking the idea of having to have a dongle on me the whole time. I did decide to buy this Bluetooth earphones and this Bluetooth adapter for my car as a solution to that and both are great, cheap, and have awesome sound quality and no longer have to deal with extra accessories or cables anymore.

It's more than double @ $75.50 for the updated set seen here: Link.

u/rawsaucemustard · 1 pointr/Fitness

I got these last summer, just updated version with a US link, but I love them. Use them an hour or two every day, battery lasts 3 or 4 days without charging. No issues with sweat, bluetooth range is about 30 feet.

Just got these yesterday and I really like them. Anker has pretty good products at reasonable prices and great customer service.

Been using Anker SoundBuds Slim+ since early August. They’re IPX-5 water resistant and apparently have a 7 hour battery life on a 1.5 hour charge although I only use them on my runs so I normally charge them before ever getting close to 7 hours.

They retail for $30 but I got them during a promotion for $24. I’m constantly impressed with how great they are considering the price.

Here’s a Amazon link if you’re interested.

Haha, this is one of the most relatable posts. I've got a cheap pair of Anker bluetooth headphones, cost like £15 off Amazon. I'd recommend them. But yeah, there's always that 60 seconds of panic when the crinkling of a crisps bag starts, and I gotta quickly load up spotify, turn on headphones, sync up, and pray it does so ASAP.

You're probably American, so here's the .com link:

I use these https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Headphones-Lightweight-Customizable-Accessories/dp/B0756T7R5T

I cannot discern lag, and sound quality sounds GREAT for the price (no they do not sound like $200 IEM's but c'mon)

u/gamejnkie · 1 pointr/oculus

Budget? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0756T7R5T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_H4XYAb2NZQSBR I have these as my daily driver with my phone, and they’re pretty great for music, but I’m not sure how they would fare in gaming. I would ask in /r/headphones if I were you

u/Aslan27 · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

If you prefer a different design, [these] (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-SoundBuds-Headphones-Lightweight-Waterproof/dp/B0756T7R5T) are brand new, and have the same aptx technology. Also on sale right now for a great price. My brother has the soundbud curve and from the time I've used them, I really liked them. The aptx technology seems to be pretty legitimate
