I get what to do with the buttons, I am just unsure of what to do for the joystick.

Just for reference, this is the kit I bought.

I have 5 sets of wires that are blue and white with a white connection in one end that goes into the control board and the other end has the two wires coming together in the spade connector.

Then I have 13 sets of wires that are red and black with the same white connector on one end but each wire has its own separate spade connector on the other end. These seem to be for the buttons since the kit says it comes ready to have 13 different buttons
