Here’s what I settled on for my wife’s 2018 MBP:
I organized it all into a small zipper case for her. The only thing she’s used so far is the magnetic charging cable, which she absolutely loves. The other two will come in handy some day, but she mostly works in an environment where files are shared via Google Drive and things are printed wirelessly. She enjoys it so far, but her usage case may not be typical.
Magsafe was honestly a great little feature for Apple laptops. Especially given the frequency if someone tripping over the cable and tearing a couple thousand dollars of tech off the table.
I know it's frustrating having to spend more but I've found this product a lifesaver for me:

I know it's not at all thrilling having to spend more cash when you've already spent so much on a product but this has honestly been a great thing for me. There are a myriad of similar products if this one is not for you (and cheaper as well) just wanted to lend this out to you to help, if even a little.

Works great, but of course after I purchased it I heard about a 21 pin MagSafe adapter available elsewhere, oh well.

The X1 Yoga comes with a 65W adapter and I've measured the AC power draw of my laptop using a multimeter. When charging from 30% and playing a game or encoding a video, for instance, the power draw from AC is 100W. If the AC adapter is only 70% efficient, that translates to 70W being received by the X1 Yoga, so it does utilize the full 65W at least and a 45W charger would not be fast enough to charge it.
After researching for a bit I got the Elecjet Macjet.

My only issue was that the cable seems a bit thin, but so far so good, The profile is quite small, I don’t have any overheating and being reversible is a good feature to have.
Thanks for the tip it sounds promising. Speaking of tip, do you think there is enough clearance under the rubber flap to fit one these magnetic connector tips I keep seeing on amazon? Most of the ones I see have negative reviews but this one only has beefs with the strength of the magnet.
