I haven't used the broadcaster version in a long time since my recent cars don't require it.

Same. An older model (2004 3.0L H6), currently at 130,000 miles. I absolutely love the thing. It's all the car I think I'll ever need. It's spacious enough that you can move a heck of a lot of stuff with it, it's powerful enough that if you put your foot down you get decent acceleration even at 60-70 mph, it gets half-decent mileage (~25 mpg) and it is small enough that it doesn't feel like a "big" car.
I was starting to get an itch to get a new (to me) car, since there are some things it doesn't have, but I have recently put in a 12V bluetooth FM transmitter thing (like this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0SFMIH/). With that, a $1 phone holder from dollar tree, and my smartphone in android auto mode, my car is as smart I think I'll ever need it to be.

I have something like this and it gets the job done. Cheap and no installation, plus you also get 2 USB outlets.
