I'm not sure I understand your question, but I use this derailleur with a bar end shifter on a 9 cog 11-34 cassette.

You can use RD-M592: https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-9-Speed-Mountain-Bicycle-Derailleur/dp/B00WJGWJUC

It has the added advantage that you can use big cassettes like 11-36.

RD-4700 will NOT work.
