Maybe try this SAE or this Metric set? They're only $12 and have great reviews.
It's hard to tell the quality of the tool from a photo, but like others said, it might be that the hex wrench isn't the greatest quality. Good quality hex wrenches shouldn't round like that, even under extreme circumstances.
But what I was recommending is something like this:

And don't forget the penetrating oil! Get it all up in there, and soak it for at least half an hour. You could also try multiple applications, wiping it off after each soaking session to remove any gunk.
