Tenacious is ok and widely available but it does get gooey around the edges. PSP Spinnaker Repair Tape is more pliable and comes in different colors. Prep repair area with alcohol and burnish with a heated spoon for best results.
For a near invisible repair and if you're ok using a needle and thread, take a look at this video. Best for tears and not gaping ember holes.
You can't put your finger in the bend of the U. The bend of the U has to be free.
I guess that's the secret sauce of this machine: the bend is free.
Or, minimally, the bend has to be free to rotate. It might still be attached to the machine using something like a swivel ring, which keeps it anchored in place while allowing it to turn freely.
I got some 5 dollar tow straps from Amazon that worked really for me. Looks like they've gone up in price a bit, but still a good deal for two sets with a spare. Ymmv. I pulled 390x9 in my fist novice contest with them, and have had up to 460lbs with no slipping. I usually wear a large in gloves if that helps with sizing idea. I've got serious steel figure 8s too, and the axle straps were too long for me. I really like the regular serious steel for a 1 in. Bar.

I got this one from Groupon: https://www.groupon.com/latest-deals/gg-trinity-360-spinning-sex-swing
It's actually pretty fantastic. Very sturdy, fairly comfortable and works great out of the box with one important exception, the swivel it comes with is terrible. I suggest replacing it with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EZCRNR2
For mounting, you will need a very high strength eye screw, I recommend 1/4" or 3/8" stainless with 4+" of threads, and put it into a ceiling beam. If you can cut and patch drywall I'd cut a hole next to the beam and run an eye bolt all the way through with heavy washers and a lock nut on the top, that would be even better. You can't really hide it, but it isn't especially noticeable when the swing isn't hooked up to it.
I have used both, and each have their merits.
Since belt real-estate is at a premium, I chose to go with a single loop and let the cuffs hang - safariland single loop. I got this one specifically because I wanted it be flexible as well as not take up space.
My wife used that exact video to make 4 of them for mine. They are pretty sturdy and they don't stretch much when I put my weight fully on them.
I used something like these for the fasteners.

Mylar? I've always used vinyl repair tape. The usual online store has a good selection of RV Awning repair tape. Greenhouse repair tape works too.
Edit: Nevermind. Yep. Mylar repair tape:

that said - look a set of separate tools is very important - if your only tool is a multi-tool - you often need a second one. for example often you need needle-nose pliers AND some other tool
Very good knife: https://www.amazon.com/Myerchin-Knives-Generation-Offshore-System/dp/B01N5C3XVK
Why fixed blade? You'll understand why when the folding knife closes on you at the wrong time.
If you want a folding knife - https://www.amazon.com/Tested-Myerchin-Knives-Rigging-Serrated/dp/B07BDP5KCG
Another: https://www.garrettwade.com/sailors-marlinspike-knife.html
You can argue about the serrated (harder to sharpen) or non-serrated (easy to sharpen)
Myerchin are unbelievably strong no bullshit knives.
Something like this?
I highly recommend this cupholder
they're actually sail battens for a laser class sailboat.
Edit, Here's what they look like in action.
Something like this?
I am not a fan of shock kits for a couple of reasons. Most kits are not plug-and-play. Many require you to drill and mount something to the frame rails. Shock kits also don’t address the equalizer, shackles or bolts on your suspension.
I personally like the shock absorbing equalizers. A bunch of folks make them, LCI has a system called road armor, Dexter E-Z Flex or my favorite by far the MORryde such as SRE4000.
Basically jack up your axel, pull the tires. Then support your axles with jack stands. Now it’s just a matter unbolting the shackles and equalizer and replacing with the new shock absorbing type.
I highly recommend replacing the shackles and bolts with a wet bolt kit . You may find the bushings were already worn out in your existing suspension. The wet bolt kit by MORryde includes brass bushings and a way to keep them greased
You could get a pocket clip for the leatherman. That's easy. The tourniquet someone already mentioned can go in a pocket or an ankle strap.
You could also get one of these, Safariland 690 Handcuff Strap, Single Snap, Black, Plain https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0018R1DFU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_WaxMzbGSDF9H8 instead of the cuff case. It takes up a lot less room on your belt.
Source: I'm a 32 waist. Or, as I like to call it, circumference impaired. I try to get as much shit off my belt as I can. Although my pants weigh a ton.
I have the gerber shard on a bow shackle with one of those kingston usbs, only so the usb has some protection.
For Reference
For keys, try this. I think you can find one in a hardware store. Keeps your keys together, less noise.

I've never seen that design before. It looks to be some kind of quick release, right? If you can't find any like that, try this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E68GVNM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_TYgIybJ5CH218
A cam cleat - or something similar.
Should be able to find at a local (or online) hardware retailer.

They're used in sailing - and for things like... running a flag up a flagpole.
And next time - post a budget, a location. Everyone's ideas have been good ideas - with the limited information you provided - and you just shoot them down because they dont exactly fit your needs.
You are right about the turnbuckle being bent. Any sail bearing stay needs a toggle at both ends to prevent that exact thing. The flogging sail can whip the stay all over the place so you want a junction that can pivot on two axises. In this case you'd just swap out that fixed jaw lower end for a t-bolt toggle so that your measurements stay roughly the same. It's about a $20 fix.
If you want the traditional look you need to put a merriman style toggle under the fork but you'll need to shorten the forestay to accommodate it.
I'm with /u/skybiglines in that that biner is probably more than enough to accommodate the load but it still offends my sensibilities. I'd install a tack shackle there but that's just personal taste.
That turnbuckle should probably be addressed though. A deformed part is a compromised part is a bad part in my mind but I'm pretty black and white when it comes to rig safety.
