Let me tell you what else that I have learned. You can choose a #6 tap for the chambers but I wanted to go with the metric sizes because the threads were tighter and more of them. In metric I picked up a m4 but the hole it made was HUGE and the m3 was too small, so I had to find a 1/2 size and the m3.5 was just right! It threads the chambers quite easily and the thread count matched the m4 so I was able to use the m4 caps that I have. I just had to run the m4 tap part of the way down for the caps to fit, but leave enough of the 3.5 threads so that the cap wasn't loose.

Here are the taps with a T handle, this is the m3.5 tap, here are the grub screws and these are the burs that I picked up. Only two of the burs that are under 3mm fit inside of the core chambers. I am still trying to figure out how I can under cut the bible.

For recording yourself, you can use this gooseneck camera mount. It should be enough to hold up your phone and let you place it somewhere comfortable. I got a tripod and sorely regret it. The only way I can record is with the tripod between my arms and my face up to the camera. The first video I shot, I sounded like a stalker breathing down your neck, lol. I actually held my breath for the second one.

The brass connection is affixed using a grub screw and nut like you see the nozzle connected at the bottom.
use a nut like this:

And a grub screw like this:
https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-300pcs-Stainless-M3x6mm-Socket/dp/B01ARSGVY8
You'll also want to put in a small section of PTFE between the heatbreak and the brass connection at the end of the bowden tube.

You should be able to get most of those parts at a hardware store if you'd rather not do the amazon thing.

For connecting the fan, I would not recommend using a zip tie but use a bent up paperclip until you can print some replacement clips.

I recently got this set. I’m finding most makers use the largest size (M3), but don’t use the longest length (6mm). I often find that after adding desired spacers the installed grub screws are not long enough to reach. Switching the 4 or 5 mm originals for 6 mm work great.

While I'm not sure which height you would want, something like these brass standoffs are what you want. That being said, you would likely have to get some sort of headless screw (these are just an example, not sure which kind would be best or fit) to screw into the case and then use tiny m2 screws to hold the plate on.

Ahh yeah sometimes you just have to swap the screws on some buttons to make them more compatible. It’s a pain for others but I personally like having the flexibility to adjust. Here’s the assorted set screes I have

Contacted them this morning, thanks for the info friend.

EDIT: What is the size of them according to this Amazon page?

When I lost one I just bought this.
Of course that means I'll never lose another one, or it will be SAE. :)

Work great in my Serpent mini

  1. Lightning vapes has 316l clapton spools, all I've been using lately. It's really good. Had the same one in my serpent for 2 weeks. 25 feet for 11 bucks and fast shipping.

  2. If they are the same as the serpent mini grub screws, which I would imagine to be true, these will work.

I checked my box too. I got spare philips instead of hex. But I found a link on Amazon that were the same specs and preferred by a lot of vapers.

I much prefer metric set/grub screws...the trick is don’t crank’em down...IMHO. you don’t get any better connection by over-torquing.

As far as I know, Tyler uses standard M4 threads on his pedals, which seem to be the most used in the industry.

Perhaps set screws and and some threadlock will do?

This should be what you're looking for. As far as I know, all saber manufacturers use 8-32 screws.

If you use an inconel screw for the gas restriction, then a set screw and that would be using the same high end parts on ar-15 adjustable gas blocks on the market right now.

If you can use a spare gas block to know where to drill into your current gas block, I don't see why you can't get this to work on the cheap.
