For helping with the nicotine cravings, e-cigs are pretty good, but they just don't have the same feel and ritual that cigarettes do. There's no natural time to stop, and nothing to keep you outside for your entire break. The act of sharing a cig or offering a light is diminished. And instead of the weird and interesting conversations that spring up, every conversation is about the e-cig.

All in all, e-cigs just left me missing real cigs all the more.

I would instead suggest getting herbal cigarettes - no nicotine, but the ritual of the smoke break remains intact. Mix it with the patch or gum to wean off the niccy fits.

First get coconara coals and go buy a 10 dollar plug in mini stove to light the coals. After that if you find it hard to keep the temperature right then get a hookah flip bowl I will link both.

You can buy a fake cigarette used for quitting smoking/movies and just empty it out into the bong. I'd get a couple different ones, along with some low THC/High CBD weed so the actor has options. The fake cigarettes dont taste great but they're safe to smoke. If the actor gets tired of it they can switch to the CBD weed which will keep them from getting high and tastes much better. Also ask the actor what they prefer. They might want weed or they might want something specific.
