This is so exciting I've been browsing bags left and right hehe I could keep going but I already had to make a decision on which ones made the cut and it wasn't easy, hope you don't mind I put more than one option. Seeing as it is your first purse you have to take into consideration what size fits your needs better and the design has to be somewhat easy to dress up or down so you don't have to move things around.
Anne Klein makes pretty good purses, I've owned a few and they are simple in design, stylish and good sized. This is one model I've owned and it takes me a bit to fill it all up, mind you whatever the size of the bag you'll always manage to get it pretty full, which can be bad for the shoulders... nevertheless space is always welcome.

Here's another Anne Klein with a beautiful design, I feel it's a bit more modern, this one has a zipper which I recommend if you're a bit clumsy like me, it's always a relief when you drop your bag or go to a crowded not so secure place, make the thiefs work harder for your goodies. Hi everyone! I bought a Celine Nano off of the BST which I absolutely ADORE, but I found the original leather strap too long since I am only 5’0”-5’1”. At first I was using the black leather strap from my PSM but I wanted to see if I could figure something else out.

I ended up going on Amazon and bought a patterned guitar strap to put on the bag. I was wondering if others could give me their input as to whether it looks good or if there is too much going on/looks too busy.

Here is my Celine Nano with the strap! Please let me know what you all think. At first I didn’t like it, but the more I look at it, the more I think it looks cute 😅

I also stumbled across this Gucci strap and this super pretty embroidered strap. I also saw some Off White straps, but they have that “W ILL” flaw that someone else posted on RL.

This one is very cute but the size might be the deal breaker.

This one looks like it has more space but is kinda just a "one huge pocket" type. Still a good looking handbag.

This one has more pockets on the inside than the other one mentioned above,is black and cute with a long strap.

This one has a more structured body. Better looking pockets that are separated/all throughout the middle. Detachable strap + smaller handles.

This one is bigger but has no large strap. The two handles should be able to be put on a shoulder. Lots more space + pockets.

This one is like half structured and half baggy. No big strap but possibly large enough straps to go over a shoulder. Even though it's semi floppy I think it would be easy to keep organized and is big enough for many items + has smaller pockets.

This one is very cute but sadly doesn't come in black. I think this brown "coffee" color could still go with many outfits. The outside is aesthetically pleasing to look at, the inside has many pockets and a lot of space for usual purse items.

This one is very stylish, structured with a big strap + smaller handles. Not much going on inside but if you are looking for a big purse with a big main pocket then this is probably the best one. You can unzip the sides for a little extra room and it appears to have little metal feet on the four corners so standing it up beside a desk would work out.

This one is plain but fashionable. Multiple pockets inside, structured. No large strap but large handles.

I heart Mom's! I am nominating my mom, seen here with me, because she is amazing and really needs a pick-me-up right now. She has had Multiple Sclerosis since she was 26 but luckily wasn't having any problems with it for the past few years because of some amazing meds she was put on. Lately she has been having a lot of back pain and is unable to walk except for at a very slow pace with a cane. She had two MRIs last week so hopefully they'll be able to figure out if it is actually the MS or if it is something else going on. But she is one of the strongest people I know and she deserves to have something like this!!!! Thanks for the contest!!!

Nice detailed review! Funny, I didn't know the Cult bag was a designer item...I saw one on a blogger I think and thought it was cute, and then stumbled on one from Amazon for $39.99. I didn't pull the trigger just yet - Taobao has been giving me the blues (I only received ONE item from a shipment I ordered a month ago) so I may choose Amazon.

So at my house we have an assortment of like grocery bags, they're all sizes and materials. Just whatever's been acquired over the years. I do prefer the ones with a more structured box shape for groceries and keep the foldable ones for my purse/backpack/car for unplanned shopping or non-grocery shopping.

For produce, we use either net or mesh bags. I prefer the bigger net type bags usually. Sometimes for more leafy-fragile items I prefer the mesh ones. But everything is machine washable, so stains aren't a worry!

For items such as beans, chocolate chips, basically medium sized, dry items (rice is too small), I like to use cotton bags. Then I don't have to worry about the Tare and they're generally easy to fill up from those dispenser things. For the BIN # of these ones, I just write it down in my phone usually, I've heard you can use pencil right on the cotton though!

For items that would either get stuck in the seams of those bags or are dirtier or almond butter, I use glass jars. My grocery store is nice and I just had to weigh my jars once, they wrote it with Sharpie and I've just kept rewriting that weight whenever it washes off. Then I bring a chalk marker (I've had some laying around from crafting), and write the BIN on the top. It's nice cause my chalk markers are white and the sharpie is black so at the register I just tell the cashier, the tare's in black and bin's in white!

I also have a funnel for the glass jars that have a smaller mouth because I've made a mess in the aisle one too many times.

If I'm not bringing more than 1-2 glass jars, I can keep all of these items in a small grocery bag. I simply fold the grocery bags and lay them flat against one side, then put in the glass jars, then in the cracks put all the produce and bulk bags.

My house is pretty small, and our kitchen is right at the front door, so I just leave all our bags (produce, shopping, and bulk) in a large bag on the counter next to the door. All our glass jars are kept in the cupboard right by the door, so before my trip while making a list, I'll take out the right containers and put them in! If I end up with too many glass jars for the bag, I just take out a bigger grocery bag as my bag holder.

I'm not sure but if you're on a budget try marshall's, they have a lot of clothes that fit that style.

I personally have been loving this tote bag from Amazon. It's big enough to hold my work laptop and all my essentials, keeps its structure well, and is stylish with a cute interior!

I also would not recommend purse carry. However, if you are going to carry off body, you need to treat the container as if you're walking around with a holstered gun, not in a safe or any other protected location. You need to keep it on your person 24/7 until you unload your firearm from your purse or put your purse in your safe or other secure location. Depending where you live, you need to think about purse snatchers, and the last thing you'd want to do is arm them.

Having said that, there are purses specifically designed for concealed carry, with adjustable Velcro pouches in a dedicated zipper compartment.
