I got a 60 inch Vizomax TV Screen Protector for LCD, LED & Plasma HDTV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HAZ251K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_cnU6Me8Itntp5.

Probably the most expensive route but well worth the investment and small price to pay to protect my Samsung 60" 4K from grown adults in VR to my toddler with a solid throwing arm.

TV at vertically centered eye level height while seated. Why not just place the TV on the cabinet which may be a good height? Then put the center in the cabinet tilted up a bit. The C5.2 is a large enough speaker to match the B6.2s and may fit. The larger C6.2 would definitely be the choice for towers.

Or use a tabletop TV stand to raise the TV above the center on top of the cabinet.

If you image search for your example, what we find is that this is called a multimedia table

in other words, it's built that way.

but that gives us this search

https://www.google.com/search?q=multimedia+table+TV+mount&tbm=isch

https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=tv+table+mount

with some promising options

http://www.standsandmounts.com/

There are plenty options for smaller screens and stables, but it seems that once you get above a certain weight capacity, most mounts are wall mounts

You probably will end up with something similar to this

or this

But then the issue is finding appropriate clamps to keep it anchored.

If the TV is vesa mountable, I would get a universal tv stand that would better fit the mantle. If you are worried about your kids yanking it, also get some anchor straps. Much less work than building a frame and using a wall mount imo, especially for a rental place. Having it on a stand even with anchors would allow you to slide it sideways to access switches behind. They even make stands that swivel, though I'm not sure how much clearance you will get in that spot.

Get a new TV. My Samsung TV uses this remote to control everything. Use it to control Netflix, Amazon, pretty much all of them.

u/thevernabean · 7 pointsr/pics

The only way to get scratches that deep out of a TV is to use the blood of two recently orphaned children...

Edit: Also for future visits from surviving nephews, consider purchasing something like this.

u/neolfex · 6 pointsr/OLED

I bought this cover for mine. It slides on and off very easily.

Kuzy TV Cover 55", Display Protector for Flat Screen up to 55-inch Dust Cover - Made in USA - BLACK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017TE5PYK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_U3-UBbD6Z1EDN

Sort of. I wonder if you could flip it and mount it to a tv stand. I am looking to build something like this

u/orphantosseratwork · 1 pointr/AskBattlestations

so this is the stand i have. its not height adjustable because i bought it before i used it for my desk and i didnt need it to be, but i just drilled some new holes real quick for the mounting brackets to get the height i needed and i bought this for the tilty bits that mount to the back of the tv. if you want to keep it simple tho and mount to the wall this single stud bracket says it has a -16 tilt and this double stud bracket has a -15 tilt

u/SirMaster · 3 pointsr/hometheater

Well it's a projector... You are supposed to replace the bulb after so many hours because they get dim.

55 inch TV-ProtectorTM TV Screen Protector for LCD, LED, OLED and QLED 4K HDTV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00444ULHA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_aVV2Db5QKXZ3T

We bought this after my son threw his water bottle through our first tv. Worth the price.

u/rabel10 · 1 pointr/OLED

I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-PDT00-13914-SSSCAT-Spray-Deterrent/dp/B000RIA95G

Put it where your cat likes to jump up. I put it behind the TV at night so he doesn't get to the cables.

I also have this TV cover. I use it mostly for the occasional sunlight that comes in, but it does keep him from rubbing on the TV.

u/microkool · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

If you don't have the original box then you can get one for a tv although you probably need to go for a higher size tv because of the ratio, they range from $9.99 to $60-70 depending on how well built and how much padding is included (example below). But for that $200 your shipping costs (not counting packing) are going to be a bit high so I would charge that separate.

An alternative would be to (if you have the funds) get your new monitor and then ship the old one in the new one's box.

EcoBox 40 to 46 Inches TV Box and UBlox Foam Kit (E-6832) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BLVJUCQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9igNAbFCC66KG

u/sotodefonk · 1 pointr/projectors

Yup, cheap bulbs sucks, they throw less light than the original and they last way less.

For example, there is a company called Lutema that kinda sells 3 tier of lamps for projector and they show a graph in which they say how much performance you should expect of theirs lamps.

Lutema graph

They sell them on amazon, but still, they could be DOA or only work for a few hours before failing.

Seeing that the projector is ancient, I would forget about it and buy a new one with at least HDMI and 720p like an epson 740HD. Epson lamps are pretty cheap, the original one for the 740HD is like 70 bucks.

Maybe not totally possible in your use case, but I just have a small hole drilled into the garage, fished an outdoor extension cord through the hole, and put some packing and sealant around it to keep pests/weather out. I just run an Apple TV that I velcroed to the back of the TV for streaming apps/TV.

If a garage-adjoining wall doesn’t work/exist for you, you could probably do something similar but just with some conduit to an interior wall.

Finally, the example picture you posted has plenty of room for an outdoor outlet box. They only sit a couple inches off the wall, and that TV easily has 6 inches of wall clearance at the top. Also, they’re not usually pretty, but get a weather cover to put on it when not in use. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-TV-Resistant-Interior-Televisions/dp/B004KNDUH8

I’ve had my TV up for 3 years now with no problems using one of those.

u/_mutelight_ · 2 pointsr/hometheater

There is this but it is expensive.

Out of curiosity, what are you thinking will come in contact with your screen?

u/boy1der1983 · 1 pointr/DirecTVNow

I have to use this product to adapt a coax cord to work with my tv, it doesn't have a normal input due to some BS need to be "thin"
