Ah didn't think of that it's just called crush ice rocks little large but looks great https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MDMLC68/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_T3aCCb9AY78QX

u/Beardmaster76 · 2 pointsr/DIY

Awesome!! Thanks so much man. I'll try that next time. I ended up getting https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JVGXCTA/ but it's not the same.

Amazon has a lot! Just search "bulk plastic gems"
PMLAND Acrylic Jewels Gems, Bulk 1 Pound per Bag, Approximately 160 Pieces, Assorted Colors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073QYZ8TY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_03oiDb1KR6NSX

They come in packs of a million and they do actually seem to disappear in water. It's really neat!

Not the cheapest-but an example

I've also found them in dollar stores. I'm sure any craft store has them.

I use green plastic gems. Like the ones you can buy on amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Lime-Acrylic-Diamond-Fillers-Pound/dp/B078PQF5VN/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=green+plastic+gems&qid=1566572355&s=gateway&sr=8-4

I wish I could take credit for the idea but someone else did it first.

I'm a writer, blogger, gamer, etc but I meet people who do that all the time. There is always something I can say that just makes people turn their heads. "Wait, you do what?" I collect gems. Here is a box of mine. I've had arguments with people because they will say something like "Those aren't gems. They're rocks.". Well, no they are a mixture of tumbled rocks, shaped glass gems, and nice textures. If you look them up they are called gems.

u/NuderWorldOrder · 7 pointsr/StardewValley

Somebody must. It looks like they're worth about 38¢ each.

u/KiwiTerry · 3 pointsr/KeyforgeGame

Got them on Amazon, Ive seen a few others with the same ones. They’re not perfect, but definitely fun.

u/Dlatrex · 42 pointsr/blackmagicfuckery

Since a bunch of people are asking about where to find these, there are all sorts of vendors that sell "water beads" which work on the same principle. They are usually a form of hydrophilic polyacrylamide, that soaks in water to 'grow' to the size of a bead, that is then essentially clear, when viewed through the water.

Here is one place on amazon that sells 20,000 / $13

For dry-erasable cards I plastify a page with 4 lines of "O O Free Invokes, 0 Costs 1 Fate Point to Invoke" and cut them into page-quarter strips.

For Fate Points, I use vase pebbles. Light, colourful, nigh indestructible.

u/Melphor · 2 pointsr/KeyforgeGame

While not the same as what the OP has, craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels sell plastic gems that are very similar. Also Amazon.

u/weelittlesailor · 7 pointsr/whatisthisthing

It looks like decorative stones.

EDIT: Formatting

Agree with the others - a bit more greenery around the sides and a pop of silver. Maybe silver glitter branches similar to these? Trimmed to length, of course.

Looks like one of those glass beads people use as vase fillers.

u/Jollysaur · 9 pointsr/wedding

How about some water pearls?

They are these jelly like pearls that you just ad water to and they they will fill up your vase and prop up your flowers.

Here are some examples: Amazon, Wild things, and amazingwaterpearls.com

u/LostWoodsInTheField · 4 pointsr/blackmagicfuckery

\^This is what they are.

Last ones I bought were these ones to play around with the colors.

u/Catgutt · 2 pointsr/minipainting

This listing on Amazon. Safe to say I now have a lifetime supply. Note that I didn't paint them, but did wash them with Army Painter Dark Tone after gluing them down.

u/kitten_claws · 1 pointr/LARP

I use these: https://smile.amazon.com/Super-Outlet-Crystals-Treasure-Decoration/dp/B072Q2ZBHZ/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1541089999&sr=8-9&keywords=acrylic+crystals

Options are, yeah, sadly limited if you don't want to go diamond cut.

Casting your own in resin is not a bad plan and certainly there's a market if you can make them in big batches for a decent price!

u/emphoto · 3 pointsr/FinalFantasy

Looks like expanding water beads that were just dumped into dyed water. There are some that come pre-colored. It would be cool though if after this was done they sealed them in resin or something. Water beads on Amazon

u/TheDeringer · 15 pointsr/KeyforgeGame

If anyone is curious, this is what I ordered off Amazon

Orange Fake Crushed Ice Rocks,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MDMLC68?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

u/Textsubs · 2 pointsr/KeyforgeGame

Where did you get the Fake Ice Rocks for $2? I can only find thesefor $8.
