16. Overlive - Zombie Apocalypse Survival - An Interactive Adventure and Role Playing Game
- Survive the zombie apocalypse and escape your zombie infested city before time runs out! Overlive's core gameplay is exploring the city and uncovering the story in the style of a "choose your path" interactive story gamebook. Survive by exploring 18 locations and finding one of 8 possible endings!
- There are 1000s of unique and professionally written events to encounter and even more tough decisions to make! All decisions have consequence; small decisions early in the game can have profound effects later! Meet other survivors and help or exploit them. Plenty of moral decisions will question how far you would go to survive and affect your final score... can you survive without losing yourself?
- Grow your character as you see fit! Train 9 different skills (melee, firearms, explosives, grappling, stealth, lockpicking, engineering, perception, computers) to overcome obstacles during exploration. Specialize or generalize, fight or bypass bosses, and use your skills to achieve the best ending! Be a stealthy computer hacker or a guns blazing pyromaniac – you decide!
- You have a limited amount of time to escape your city before the nuclear plant goes into meltdown and destroys what remains of the city (including you)! Each day choose between exploring the city, training your skills, or resting. Learn from your mistakes and improve your survivability and score in subsequent playthroughs - this is a game that is meant to be replayed!
- Defeat zombies, bosses, and other threats in real-time combat with hand to hand weapons, firearms, and explosives! Enemies come in all sizes and can come at you fast, attack from a range, tank you, or mob you in numbers! Change up your tactics to maximize your combat effectiveness and minimize the time you spend resting at home!
- Memorable and fearsome bosses will stand in your way to freedom! But don't worry if combat isn't your thing - you can weaken or bypass them entirely using non-combat skills!

Trailer
I posted this last month but I've since made massive updates like music, better graphics and a bunch more features that were suggested by Redditors the first time around. Anyway...
PREPARE FOR THE BEST VOICE ACTING OF ALL TIME! ...AGAIN!!
The game is an Asteroids/Motherload inspired story game and is totally free! (Ads are optional and IAPs are donations only)
I hope you give it a shot, it's now available on:
app store
google play
amazon store
and a bunch of sites online
I hope you'll give it a go. Have fun and know that all feedback is much appreciated.
Sadly, this is only my favorites that I keep coming back to.
∞ Infinity Loop (Free) - Simple and addictive puzzle game
10000000 ($2.89) - Match 3 puzzle game with interesting mechanics, quests, and upgrade system.
ALONE... ($1.49) - Sort of like that old helicopter game in browser, you guide a rocket ship through a cave sorta thing.
Archery King (Free) - Archery, enough said.
Circle Affinity (Free) - Circular platformer
Downwell ($2.99) - Vertical platformer. I like it better on Steam.
Dropsy ($4.99 on Amazon Underground, $9.99 in Play Store) - Dark point and click with no dialogue. P&C translated surprisingly well to mobile.
Dumb Ways to Die 2 (Free) - Basically Wario-Ware for mobile
Dynamix (Free) - Rhythm game that was actually designed for touchscreens instead of porting controls over a-la DDR.
Fighting Fantasy series ($2.99, some are cheaper on Amazon Underground) - Choose Your Own Adventure style books with die based combat. Really fun, ton of variations. I've personally played The Forest of Doom, House Of Hell, and Island of the Lizard King
Fishing Hook (Free) - Fishing game with good enough mechanics.
Lara Croft GO (Free on Amazon Underground) - Part of the GO series (Deus Ex GO and Hitman GO) that are great puzzle games that play like a board game. Really interesting.
Lyne ($2.50) - Connect all the lines in this puzzle game
Mini Mix Mayhem (Free) - Wario Ware x4
Monument Valley (Free on Amazon Underground) - Perspective based puzzle game
Outfolded (Free) - Unfold boxes to solve puzzles
Pocket Rice (Free) - Trivia where successful answers allow you to donate rice to people in need
Reigns ($2.99) - Hard to explain, but great. Balance... stuff to stay alive through choices you make as king.
Sonic Racing Transformed (Free) - Surprisingly good port to mobile, but I've had issue with doing stunts.
Strata (Free) - Puzzle game based on layering lines
GNOMIES
http://focuslabstudios.com/gnomies
Hey everyone this is Andrew the lead designer for Gnomies. Marc, Tim and I have spent all of our free time in the last year and a half working on this game. It's currently available on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore for .99 cents. We're currently working on a free limited "Lite" version, iOS version, and translating it into Swedish, French, and Spanish. Before you read any further I would like to make it clear that Gnomies does not require any special permissions. No ads, No in app purchases, No log ins to social media needed, first of kin, etc. The entire game is also less than 40mb.

Bonus question: I wish someone had told me Apple requires a DUNS number to register a company for an iOS dev license. Takes about 30 days to get one just fyi.
Hi Redditors!
My name is Tyler, and I'm the owner of the company putting out Wizardous: An Apprentice's Betrayal ('AAB' for short if you're searching the app marketplace). I wanted to get on Reddit, and let everyone on here know one last time about our deal before it ends.
If you'd like to see an honest, 3rd party review of the game with both the good and bad, check out here: http://killstreakmedia.com/review/wizardous-8-bit-difficulty-for-a-new-era/
Though - Get the app now if you want to see those "bad" items, because in the updated version we plan to fix all that stuff :)

I hope you get a chance to take a peek at it and enjoy what we put together. Thanks!
FYI - If you’re an Android user the game costs more on Google Play! That was a tough marketplace for us due to their restrictions, and we couldn't put Wizardous on the marketplace for free like in other marketplaces. However, it is discounted to $0.99, and is only going up from there in coming weeks. HOWEVER, if you have an Amazon account, you can download their 'appstore' app, then download Wizardous through Amazon for FREE! (I know, I'm the developer so probably shouldn't provide you with ways of not paying me :P but we want people to enjoy this game, even if me means we might not make a ton of money).

Too expensive. 10 freakin' dollars? Terraria is a great game. I own it on PC, PS3, and Kindle. But 10 dollars (normally $20???) for the 3ds e-version is exact reason I detest my 3ds. First the e-store is crap. You can't install on multiple devices. You have to prove you uninstall it before you can move it. When things go on sale it's still overpriced (IMO).
You can buy it on Amazon now for $5 and play it on either your phone or kindle depending on which one you're in the mood to play.
You can even get it for FREE on google play.https://www.amazon.com/505-Games-Terraria/dp/B00G6ZTM3Y
The fire tv and ouya versions of this game are playable sideloaded on practically all Android devices:
https://www.amazon.com/Ansimuz-Elliot-Quest/dp/B00R1SXPRO
You only need a gamepad or if you are root you can play it using touchscreen controls with apps like tincore or gamekeyboard+.
Elliot Quest is a pretty cool console game with 3 different endings and a lot of secret areas and bosses, great for Android tvs and boxes. Available on Steam too.
Terraria is currently FREE (December 24, 2014) on Amazon app store, so maybe you could download that for free, pay for Minecraft PE, and then make up your mind which is better.
http://www.amazon.com/505-Games-Terraria/dp/B00G6ZTM3Y
Wayward Souls is pretty good. I think their older game, Mage Gauntlet, is better.
I also recommend Solitaire City HD
I didn't receive the Minecraft Coins that I purchased. What should I do?
If you purchased on your Windows 10 device:
Additional support:

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-titles/minecraft-marketplace-faq#dd3d87d1c99f4285865ebeab4fbecb22
Refunds for Minecraft Coins purchases
All purchases made using Minecraft coins are final, but if an unauthorized purchase was made by someone else, you can contact the support center for the application store where the purchase was made:
https://help.mojang.com/customer/en/portal/articles/359338-mojang-refunds-policy?b_id=5408
I'd say contact xbox support first
There are quite a good number of really awesome games in this side scrolling combat platformer style on Android. Most of the good ones support controllers though I will also mention a couple that don't (the first 3 in the linkme)
Maldita Castilla https://www.locomalito.com/maldita_castilla.php
Shovel Knight https://www.amazon.com/Yacht-Club-Games-Shovel-Knight/dp/B014IEGCKU
Elliot Quest https://www.amazon.com/Ansimuz-Elliot-Quest/dp/B00R1SXPRO
Linkme: Diseviled, Curse of the Demon Sword https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DevilWare.DemonSword Rogue Castle, Sword of Xolan, Devious Dungeon 2, Tallowmere, Wazhack, Lemegeton, Magic Rampage, Rico Lite
Sorry for the people who linked to the Google Play Store and posted things that aren't even on Amazon App Store. They didn't read your post, it seems. I would recommend Terraria for sure. Wayward Souls is a pretty solid choice too. I couldn't recommend Monument Valley, I've never played it.
From where do you try to download it? If it is from google play store, there is only one download link, the green button on the top of the page that says "install". https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shatteredpixel.shatteredpixeldungeon&hl=en
If you don't have access to Play Store, you can also download if for free from Amazon, but you will have to create an account https://www.amazon.com/Shattered-Pixel-Dungeon/dp/B00OH2C21M
These are the two sites that its developer suggests in his github page.
Played it for about half hour. A game about having to find hidden objects that it asks for, you search around the screen. Most were pretty easy to find but I did get stuck on a little bug that i couldn't find. You get the option to shuffle the objects but you only have a limited use. Might be a fun game for kids. It looked like there might have been only 1 level as i only got to around 7.5% with each object you find adding in around .4%. sorry this is the faster link without having to go through 2 links http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008UDFAM2/ref=mas_fad_img
Terraria is pretty great on mobile if you can get it.
There is no real high end gaming, but there are a couple decent ones. Minecraft Pocket Edition and Terraria would be my main two recommendations. Beach Buggy Racing isn't too bad if you're looking for a Mario Kart knock off. There are ways to stream games from other devices as people have mentioned or you can even install emulator to run classic games. Can't discuss how to go about getting ROMS, but you can look that up. The emulators are probably the best source of gaming you can get on the FireTV. Just don't expect this to be a real replacement to an actual console.
Machinarium is animated puzzle solving game - fantastic artwork and music, good hints system if you get stuck
We're using whatever is being hosted on the Amazon App Store. The version number on the main menu reports as: 0.16.2. With respect to Classic v. Pocket, I wasn't aware there were multiple flavors of Minecraft for Android. By Classic, do you mean the PC version?
Here's a direct link to the MCPE version at the Amazon App Store that we're using: Link to Amazon App Store
UPDATE On the App Store page, the version is displayed as "0.16.2.2"
Your Amazon link on your home page is also malformed and has an extra "http" at the end. Here is the correct link: https://www.amazon.com/Aslan-Game-Studio-Interactive-Stories/dp/B06X1CB3BL
Best wishes with your project.

Hardmode coming soon, according to: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Mobile_Version_History
According to the description:
> ON SALE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER $1.99 (60% off $4.99). LIMITED TIME ONLY!
though I think there have been deals on the Amazon Appstore version in the past.
I still favor mouse and keyboard, but the amount of content (especially for a mobile game) is fairly impressive.
This one is sort of a choose your own adventure with some RPG elements.
Overlive - Zombie Apocalypse Survival - An Interactive Adventure and Role Playing Game: You're trying to explore the city and search for answers about what happened. You can set difficulty and play length and get a score at the end of your game. I played the hell out of it for like three days straight and barely scratched the surface by the end of my game.

The Lost Chapter
The Lost Chapter is a point and click murder mystery adventure game. A game developer has been murdered and you're summoned to solve the case. During your investigation, you encounter a playable video game that the dead developer was working on. Is he trying to tell you something?
Please watch our teaser trailer.
The game is available from the following stores:
The game is on sale for a limited time for just $0.99, but here are some iOS promo codes just for you guys.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I read that this was a sequel, but it's more like a reimagining. http://www.amazon.com/ANUMAN-INTERACTIVE-XIII-Lost-Identity/dp/B007W24NT8
Terria is also free!
The Android version is free for Christmas on the Amazon Appstore.
Here is the link to amazon showing what looks like rain http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B00992CF6W/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_1?ie=UTF8&index=1&isremote=0
It says it can take 72 hours for them to process the coins. Bring up one of the paid apps in the Amazon app store like Minecraft Pocket Edition and look over to the right sidebar to check you coin balance.
Sure you can, change the .com domain in the URL to the one in your country if it has Amazon. If it doesn't work, just search for it.
For example here the german one: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00IX035QA/ref=mas_fad_img
Or french: http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00IX035QA/ref=mas_fad_img
Or UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IX035QA/ref=mas_fad_img
Are you talking about this: https://www.amazon.com/505-Games-Terraria/dp/B00G6ZTM3Y ?
If so, I'm fairly certain that thing is considered "Old Gen" as well. (Also it's Amazon Fire TV, not prime. Just to avoid future confusion)
Looks like you can get a new Amazon app thing from www.amazon.com/androidapp
If that isn't working, try: https://www.amazon.com/505-Games-Terraria/dp/B00G6ZTM3Y/
No idea if/when the Amazon version is getting 1.3
Probably worth mentioning that Terraria is free for Android devices from the Amazon Appstore today.
Make sure he bought this app (If he bought it on Google Play) or this app (If he bought it on Amazon)
The Mobile version of the game is released by a different studio (505 Games) which earns no money when it is purchased on PC. The studio probably wouldn't make much off of Terraria sales considering how cheap the PC version goes often and they wouldn't even get a fraction of that money.
The Android version of the game is still free on the Amazon App store for a bit (I'm not sure how long to be specific) if you really aren't interested in paying for the Mobile version.
have to go through amazon

I've noticed there's a lot of problems with fireTVs and terraria. I'm not sure if it's on the dev's end, or amazon's tho
