HOWEVER, doing it this way, I only have to do it twice per week, since that makes 10 meals and I only have it for breakfast/lunch during the work-week Monday through Friday. And once you make your Keto Chow in bulk in a blender, you won't go back. It's so silky smooth, and blended together with the peanut butter, mind-blowingly delicious! Pretty freaking amazing for $2.60 per meal! I have lost about 45 lb doing this and have almost 8% body fat. And I have the abs to prove it, thanks to Keto Chow! (NSFW!) ;)
Cooking in cast iron/Carbon steel woks is very good for health and you can use them for a lifetime but maintenance is a big issue. They need to be seasoned every time after the wash. Also, they are not dishwasher safe. Carbon steel is expensive compared to cast iron. I like 'Mineral B' carbon steel pans. You can check them on amazon. I have a Lodge cast iron skillet and it works well.
Enameled cast iron- I haven't tried it yet. The enamel coating on the iron pan is completely safe and much easier to maintain than Cast iron or carbon steel woks. Aluminium wok - A durable one like the above pans and relatively very cheap. I bought a 4qt one at a local Indian store for $30.
Hard anodized non stick woks - I swear by Calphalon and Circulon brands. I'm rarely using nonstick these days.

I use a gallon pitcher, add (1.5 cups avocado oil or 2 cups of Darigold heavy whipping cream or 24 tablespoons of melted Kerrygold Irish Grass Fed salted butter), 6 scoops of ketochow, fill it 3/4 of the way full with water, give it 60 seconds with the immersion blender, let it sit for 2 minutes, and do another 60 seconds with the immersion blender. Then it goes into 6 bottles which is good for 2 days worth. I usually do 3 pitchers for 18 total servings, or 6 days.
I normally don't need anything else to get me through the day, but I keep extra stuff in the refrigerator if do need a snack, or I'll replace one of my Ketochow servings with a combo of bacon, eggs, cheese, and veggies.
I am lazy AF so I also regularly visit Costco and buy bags of Babybel cheese minis (regular, white cheddar, and light), packages of Kirkland precooked bacon, and boxes of Kirkland peeled hard boiled eggs. I also buy cauliflower, broccoli, and avocados for snacks. I'll occasionally grab a few rotisserie chickens, cut them in half while they're still warm, and refrigerate them, and have half as a meal when I'm craving something more substantial than Ketochow. 350f for 30 minutes heats them up perfectly.

Really simple solution. If the protein intake is already adequate, just add your own fats for as much extra calories as you want. 15ml = 125ish calories. Add 1-2 servings of those to each of your shakes.
Avocado oil or Heavy cream (depending on your taste/texture preferences) is the general recc. Butter is also an option if that is more to your taste. You will have to experiment. A combination of those is also something to try, like avocado + heavy cream.
Olive oil is the less expensive option.
I hear Macadamia oil and Hemp oil are good but they also have a much stronger taste and hemp is more expensive.

For the avocado oil, I use the brand Olivado. You can usually find this one in the grocery store where all the regular cooking and olive oils are.
I like using the sweet almond oil the best from Aura Cacia. I believe this brand has an avocado oil also. This brand's oils are usually in the skin care aisle of the organic/natural section of grocery stores. If you can't find it there, the brand may also be at a local health food/organic store!
I use Baja Precious avocado and almond oil in 1G quantities (purchased at amazon). The avocado oil has a very light hint of taste and the almond oil is pretty much tasteless. Both don't need to be refrigerated. I keep two 500ml dispensers with one of those little spout valves on them for KC prep since it makes it easier.
The avocado oil added a terrible flavor. It might be better with a different brand. I made it again with 4 tbsp of mct oil instead and it was awesome.

Yes, 43 bucks for oil seems like a lot, but it should last you a LONG time, and that price is minuscule compared to what you'd pay in your local grocery store for avocado oil (or any good oil, for that matter).
Also, if you want salmon, look into getting the frozen stuff from Aldi's.
I have been doing only avocado oil for more than a year after doing only HWC for nearly a year. Other than it not quite being as thick, I love it and for me its easier to track my macros. I also know I am not adding additional carbs, where with HWC, despite it showing 0 carbs, actually has carbs. I buy my avocado oil through amazon and never noticed a difference in taste.

Close, it's $45 on Amazon but I only use about half of it at a time and that half lasts for months with only occasional use (I strain and store it in a jar after it's cooled). A single gallon is good for me (and spouse) for roughly a year.
Make sure you find refined avocado oil. There is a lot of "virgin" avocado oil out there that has a significantly lower smoke point - around 375F. That stuff is great for your salad dressing, but not what you want for searing.

Massimo Gusto Avocado Oil isn't that much more expensive than olive oil (and it tastes fantastic). It's one of my favorite oils for cooking with. I've almost completely relegated the olive oil to salads at this point.

if you want to add oil be sure to use one with a very high smoke point, I use this but you can get cheaper avocado oils that are just fine for cooking
that said it's gonna be smoky no matter what you do, you can alway put a ziploc over your smoke detector if you need
Switching to Avocado Oil cut the smoke way, way down for me with no noticeable impact on taste. I've also used Walnut Oil with success, the key is a high smoke point.

I was gifted a bottle of chosen foods cold pressed avocado oil. Advertises a smoke point of 260°C (Or 500°F) and it does a bang up job. Seems to be resilient than the coconut oil we were using before.

Here's what I do (indoors mind you). I put the steak (still in the bag) in the freezer for 10-15 mins. I take my cast iron pan and put a little bit of avocado oil in the pan and wipe it around with a paper napkin. That's it. Put the stove on High and wait until the pan registers 500F using a laser thermometer (the cheap ones off amazon). Remove steak from bag and dry thoroughly with paper napkins and place directly on the pan with no additional oil. Heat one side for 1 minute, flip, and add a 1/4 stick of KerryGold butter along with some rosemary and garlic cloves and spoon it on the steak once the butter melts (fast!). After 1 minute, I'll flip one more time to spoon the butter on the other side of the steak and remove. For additional steaks, I do not put any more avocado oil in the pan.
