What's more interesting than the silly stamp you linked to is the related items: similar stamp is the #1 best seller in the "business stamps & print kits" category; and a knockoff MAGA hat is somehow the #1 best seller in "Women's Costumes & Cosplay Apparel".

Who buys this crap?

An old fashioned library stamp! :) Looks like a lot of fun for crafting.

Replying to a weeks old comment here but for future people browsing - this has been one of my best purchases, as someone who lives in a house that used to be a rental and we still get mail for probably 6 previous tenants:

(Return to Sender Not at This Address Self Inking Rubber Stamp (Red Ink) - X-Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07454PB61/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Fu1RCbT3D7HVX)

I have a roller stamp that I use over the sensitive information (address, names, etc.). Then I shred that paper as well by hand or scissor, but after stamping I don't feel I need to shred them as small anymore. :)

You are supposed to mark mail not for anyone in your household as, "Return to sender, not at this address."

It sounds like maybe you're getting a lot of mail, so its worth considering buying a stamp.

You can also place a note on the inside of your mailbox which says, "ONLY ACCEPTING MAIL FOR: [names of current residents]"

I just got a generic customizable stamp set. Available on amazon for around 10 USD. For example:

USA link, Europe link

I also added these links to the stickied post :)

Piggybacking off this, just stamp the shit out of it with this and they will eventually just toss it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4P5PQG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Fo7rDb6MCHR7Z

I got tired of drawing the fishbone a million times a day, so I bought a fishbone stamp. Best $18 spent in residency. I donated it to my program's call room when I graduated.

Most people think its a genius idea, and at the very least, its a cool conversation starter.

I didn't want to use his last name until after the wedding - it would make it look like we're already married. So our invitations say both of our first and last names. But I did order a self-inking stamp with just our first names for our save-the-dates. This one from Amazon is cheaper than the Vistaprint ones, and free shipping! If I want to order another with our last name after we're married for thank-yous and such, it's only $8, but really just our first names will always work. For our formal invitations our return address will be printed on the envelope and we also have our separate first and last names.

My ink stamper with name and address came in on Friday. It made filling out MOs much quicker. Stamp, sign, done. Promptly went to my CU to deposit 17 of them. Anything to streamline the process, right?

EDIT: Amazon link if anyone wants it. It's good for WU MO's, not sure about MoneyGram. Font is def small.

You.

Buy an 'inkless pad' and (optional) card holder on Amazon, get free cards directly from the ATF, and do your own cards quickly and cheaply.

source: done this for my last 4 approved stamps.

u/GamingTheSystem-01 · 24 pointsr/UnethicalLifeProTips

I'm sure one of these will work fine

u/charm59801 · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

Could probably find a "name" stamp too.

Kinda juvenile font...definitely meant for teachers, but possibly better than nothing Haha

Option one

Option 2

I use a rubber stamp holder my wife picked out for me at an antique store: http://imgur.com/a/DHzbp

This rubber stamp holder is old, but they still sell them new on Amazon: here

There are better ones on Etsy etc but here

Here you go, sis. Be a crafty queen!

It's also available at Amazon for about $25.

I prefer a custom self inking stamp. The label part is just expensive wasted stickers.

Places like CNN and MSNBC were constantly losing money up until 2016. Now it's perpetual election cycle for them and they are profitable for the first time in decades. Combine that with a lot of extreme partisans who have become addicted to stories reinforcing their own morality and casting the other side as extreme evil and you have a self-reinforcing iron triangle. It's no longer about politics so much as tribal warfare. And it's more important to enrage the other side who are evil than it is to achieve some specific policy objective.

I've had my house for nearly 8 years and still get mail for folks who've not lived there in 20 years. I even recently got a sympathy card on the occasion of the death of the daughter of someone who lived there 15+ years ago. It'll never end. There's no way to completely avoid getting mail not meant for you unless you are the first person to live at an address and curse the people who live there after you!

What's worked reasonably well for me is this "RETURN TO SENDER / NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS" stamp. Stamp it a few times on each side of the envelope and drop it off at a mailbox. I've gotten a few back even with the stampings, so I tend to also write the date I received it each time I receive it on the back of the envelope. If I receive a piece of mail more than three times, I'll shred it unopened if it was "presorted standard" or take it to the post office and deal with a human. Always be nice, because it's not the clerk's fault!
