Board shorts and button up short sleeve shirts. Also masc sandals. Like, get those old man sandals. Cut your hair to suit your face, and drink all of the water. If you bind, tank binder, not a full length one. If you can get away without it, layer a thin button up over a tank top, button only one or two buttons to make the shirt cover what it needs to. If you need a reference, look at Steve Irwin's outfit (with slightly longer shorts), and just color it up a bit. Inconsistent patterns are a great way to distract from certain areas.

Thank you sir. Although I didn't find the shirt - possibly never will sadly. Second shirt that gets out of my grasp, but I found a new brand that I like. Any more like this would be kool. I'm actually into Android Homme graphic tees (discontinued as well) and Blvck Scvle graphics, but I'm having no luck finding quality "illuminati" designs

edit: I found something similar, it is not it cause it has the pocket and the fabric looks different, I like that fabric he was wearing.

Keeping in mind I'm in Canada, I bought this one in Blue Salute. :)

It's not true flannel - it's not heavy enough to wear as a jacket, but it's warmer than its weight might lead you to believe. There's a lot of loose threads, but the quality otherwise looks really good; they just didn't clean up after sewing terribly well.

I got a 4X - I wear a 24 top and the 4X is very pleasantly oversized and roomy. (Unfortunately all they had was the 4XT, so the sleeves are a bit long for me but still quite homey and comfortable. :D)

Does N&F share their shirt fabrics with other brands or are other brands copying their designs? Can't help but notice that this shirt from Barney Cools uses a fabric that looks identical to N&F's Big Tropical Shirt.

EDIT: The N&F shirt looks pretty dark in that pic so here are some alternate pics. Barney Cools vs N&F. The N&F shirt definitely came out a while before the Barney Cools shirt so it seems like Barney Cools may have copied the design or reused the fabric.

For casual dates I normally wear a button down long sleeve shirt and I roll the sleeves up to just past the elbow. I am down to only one shirt and was wondering if y’all thought it would be a good idea to just buy some cheap slim fit shirts from amazon and have my tailor “finish” them to my liking. There are some shirts from LOCALMODE that I like and they have nice reviews but I’m nearly certain they would not fit me because of my long arms, medium torso and wide shoulders.

Should I get one or two and take them to my guy or just spend the money and get custom? I’m pretty rough on my shirts

Hey, me again. One more point about this: I find Woolrich superior to both, BUT it seems they don't make the Oxbow Bend flannel shirt anymore? I can't find it on their web site. Their Modern Fit in size medium is the best flannel shirt I've found. It seems you can still get them on Amazon.

I don't really know what kind of style you would be comfortable with. If you prefer to stick to button up shirts, try something like this (but don't you dare button up the top button! I recently bought this woolrich shirt jacket in grey. Should I return it and get this similar one from jcrew? I tried on the jcrew one in store and the wool is really soft but I didn't want to pay the full price. Now the jcrew shirt is on a big sale. The woolrich shirt is a lot warmer though, more like a jacket, and the fit is quite boxy, which I'm ok with.

Edit: Also, thrifting and a tailor/sewing machine is a great alternative to the jeans. You can make this $20 cheaper by thrifting a pair of jeans and bringing them to a tailor ($8+) or having your moms taper it (priceless). With that $20, another good piece would probably be a layering piece like a camo jacket.

In addition to jeans and t-shirts, it's probably a good idea to have a few button-up shirts or polo shirts as well. Shirts with collars. Also a couple pairs of trousers/slacks in addition to jeans. These are good for more formal gatherings like going out to eat with your family or interviewing for a job.
