> It's not easy to get aluminium this small

Made a crapton of it in high school 25 years ago with a drill, a 1/2" aluminum rod, and a bastard file. Took a while, but it was pretty fine powder. Any more, you don't even need that. It's $23 for 2lbs on Amazon

>Rust isn't ideal as it doesn't tend to be pure iron oxide.

It is when you decompose a chunk of wrought iron in a solution of sodium bicarbonate and water using a model train transformer. But again, not really necessary nowadays with it being $13.50 for 5lbs on Amazon

Wow, take a look at the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" section for those two products. It's a complete grocery list for juvenile miscreants. Even has the magnesium ribbon.

Please, please, please don't try and use normal food flavorings like the things you find in a grocery store in eliquid, it's a lot nastier than you might expect.

I would start with This VG+PG Combo deal, then get reputable nicotine from someplace like Nude Nicotine or wizard labs and flavors from a supplier like The Flavor Apprentice

You will also want bottles, a digital scale and some sort of transfer media (pipettes, eye droppers, etc)

This should be a solid foundation, but don't expect that you will be saving a ton of money off the bat. You should realistically expect to spend a couple hundred dollars to get fully setup with a decent flavor library and the basic mixing equipment but once you do, it can save you incredible amounts of money down the road.

Unrefined mostly harmless non-weapons grade uranium

I always liked how if you look at iron oxide the 'frequently bought together' items are aluminum powder and magnesium ribbon to make and ignite thermite.

They used to sell potassium nitrate that had a recipe for using it to make a black powder bomb in the product description, but I can't find that any more. Oh well, you can still buy them separately:

you can buy menthol crystals and dilute it with PG to make your own mixture that will last years for like 12$.

120ml of propylene glycol.

2oz of menthol crystals.

2oz is way, way too much so if you can buy less definitely do. crush up 1g of menthol crystals and add it to a spare, clean bottle. drop in 10ml of PG for a 10% dilution or 20ml for a 5% dilution. etc. After it's mixed heat the bottle slightly in a warm water bath and shake until the crystals dissolve. You can make this as strong as you want up to a point. Solubility in Propylene Glycol is up to 50% and solubility in alcohol (everclear) is greater than 100%.

after you've made this dilution add exactly one drop to a juice you'd like to have a menthol kick to it. This is why this mixture will last a very long time. if you have another clean bottle you might want to try a small amount mentholated before you destroy the whole thing with more than 2 drops. also, starting with 1 drop will help you learn how much menthol you need. you can't go backwards, there is no undo-ing a drop. you'll have more room to screw up if you make a 5% diliution instead of a 10% one.

I did this about half a year ago, 10% in a 30ml bottle and use it pretty regularly. i am not even halfway through the mixture. I only used 3g of the menthol and have around 20g left.

as an aside if you end up sick and your nose clogs up you can drop .5g of menthol crystals into boiling water and inhale deeply. You'll clear right up every time with the added bonus of turning the surrounding area into a mentholated biohazard zone/war crime.

This is a thing I found, just bought 10lbs vg from bulk apothecary and don't use vg much, but you're in luck!

Edit: my apologies, not free shipping :( but I did find this. http://www.essentialdepot.com/product/CUBE-4VG.html

Thermite. Did you know that aluminum will catch fire? I didn't until I thermited a macbook and most of the case burned outwards from where the thermite was piled.

Pro-tip: wear a welding hood, or at least sunglasses or you will have a spot in your vision for the rest of the day.

As always, amazon is your friend:

It's accurate. Both of the main ingredients are extremely easy to get, either locally or online. You can purchase them quickly and cheaply without the need for any special licenses.

For example,

http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Powder-Micron-500-Mesh/dp/B00ERX79FU

Just scale the amounts to what you need, add a magnesium strip as the ignition switch, and you have some thermite. I've used it a few times to cut through some old, rusted pipes at a local camp in the absence of power tools.

Is there a problem with me just buying this and experimenting with different oils to see what works better?

Edit: This would probably look better wouldn't it...

u/Colgate2in1 · 1 pointr/motorcycles

You can probably get it cheaper here, free delivery too.

Vegetable Glycerin 1 Gallon + Propylene Glycol 1 Gallon - USP - Kosher https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Z2CC7Q6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_P92 NBsybYZH35GW

Get the nic and flavors from wizard/nude/etc. Do a little research, Sort out how to measure and store, and voila, 2 gallons of juice for a couple hundred bucks. Too easy.

u/Troko22 · 2 pointsr/mycology

I don't know how chemically savvy you are, I know I'm not myself but you can get KOH which I believe is just a weak solution of potassium hydroxide in flake form here.
