This Speculoos Cookie Butter is a wonderful treat! I have tried the smooth, which is crushed up cookies reminiscent of gingery cookies, and it's awesome with Rold Gold pretzels! It also tastes nice with dark chocolate.

This Ceylon tea is wonderful!

I thought that this pistachio butter looked great and I wanted to share it with you, but the shipping is not prime.

Thank you for the nomalicious contest! I absolutely love to indulge in tasty things. ;P

I would love, love, love these or some of the wonderful Ceylon tea I mentioned earlier! <3 You might, too! Free shipping. ;D

Here are some roasted pumpkin seeds because EVERYONE loves snacks :) especially healthy snacks

Same happened to me, and then I figured I can snack on things like cheese! It's delicious! I just don't keep sweet things that could throw me out of keto around, and when I'm out with friends getting snacks, I pick up some cheese or jerky!

If you're really looking for something sweet, these are absolutely incredible. (just try your best not to eat all of them)

u/barfsnot1000 · 2 pointsr/keto

I'll echo what's been said here already: I found I needed fewer snacks as I got better at eating less, and drink a big glass of water before eating a snack. Those really apply to habit/recreational snacking, though.

If you've got a long stretch between meals, heck yeah, get some calories!

  • chopped veggies & dip or cream cheese (queso dip w cauliflower is stupid good)
  • string cheese (Costco or Sam's is the place to get giant bags)
  • those little packets of almond butter (200 calories, really good, kinda expensive but totally nonperishable)
  • deli meat & cheese rollups
  • heat peanuts! (270 cals, also nonperishable- I buy the 18pk and keep them squirreled away everywhere)

    Good luck and have fun!
u/bridget1989 · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

These are vegan, peanut-free, gluten-free "Reese's" called PEANOT! How cute.

Optional healthy snack is salt and pepper pistacios! It's an add-on item, $5.35. If your daughter isn't the salt and pepper kind of girl, they have other flavors. These are healthy and you could stick them in 100-calorie packs in ziplock baggies in her lunch bag! =) My mom made me 100 calorie pack snack baggies of pistachios far into my adult years (I mean in college, AND after, when I had my first corporate job, and even now as a teacher, she'll send me back to my house after a visit with a bag of baggies of pistachios. My mom looks out for me!), giving her the nickname Most Amazing and Ever-Spoiling Mom in the World.

Adults are just outdated children.

Honestly, these almonds would make me the happiest. I'm always on a diet, and I rarely if ever eat treats like chocolate or flour-based stuff. Most of what I've been posting about sugar and candy and gelato has been just a dream -- it's easier to eat healthy in real life and stay thin if I can get out how much I want them somewhere.

Awesome thanks for all the tips! have rice cooker so covered there. Blender #1 on the list after doing some more research(sauces, drink, etc...). That said after checking out hot for food where do you buy you cashews in bluk? https://www.amazon.com/Sincerely-Nuts-Cashews-Whole-Raw/dp/B001KW8UVI
https://www.amazon.com/Raw-Organic-Cashews-5-lbs-Sincerely/dp/B004JYIKX2
looks like between 35-50 for 5 lbs depending, if you have any resources for that or brands that would be cool. thanks again!!

Instant Pot Mushroom Wild Rice

Full recipe post with notes here-----> https://veggiechick.com/instant-pot-mushroom-wild-rice/ =)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted vegetable broth
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced (I used cremini, white button or baby bella)
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups wild rice blend (combination of black and basmati rice)
  • 1 teaspoon Spanish paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme flakes)
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

    INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set Instant Pot to the Sauté function. Add vegetable broth, garlic, onions and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent and soft. Turn the Instant Pot off.
  2. Add the water, rice, Spanish paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Stir well. Replace the lid, then set the Instant Pot to  Manual/Pressure Cook (at high pressure) for 22 minutes. *Make sure the Instant Pot is set to the “Sealing” position.
  3. Meanwhile, in a high powdered blender, add the raw cashews and nutritional yeast. Process until fine (powder-like consistency).
  4. Once the Instant Pot is done cooking (the time has elapsed), let the pressure release naturally (about 15-20 minutes). When ready, open the lid, add the cashew powder and almond milk and stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Keep this dish in an airtight container in the fridge for up 5-6 days. Makes roughly 4 (1-cup) servings.

great list! I'll post my snacks:

  • raw pecans (the walmart brand is the best deal I've found so far)

  • babybel mini cheese wheels

  • jacklinks thick-cut bacon jerky (most jerky has sneaky sugar in it, this is the tastiest truly low carb option I've found)

  • mauna loa macadamias, I recommend the maui onion and garlic flavor

  • flamin' hot peanuts (I love and miss flamin' hot cheetos, so these are a game-changer. like all peanuts there's a small amount of carbs balanced out by fiber)

  • blue diamond almonds, all the flavors are great!

  • sunflower seeds, any flavor

  • pork rinds (these aren't my favorite snack personally, but they're good for dipping where you'd usually use chips)

  • quest bars (some flavors are hit or miss)

  • hard-boiled eggs with season salt and pepper

  • deviled eggs

  • wings with non-sugary sauce

  • blackened or grilled shrimp

  • canned tuna or salmon

Pumpkin Spice & Bacon ice cream (it's actually oddly delicious).

2 pints of heavy cream

1 pint of Kalifa Farms 0 carb unsweetened almond milk

2 tablespoons of food grade glycerine (keeps ice cream soft)

2-4 teaspoons of liquid sweetener (I like sucralose, some people like others, pick which one you like).

1 teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice mix

1 tablespoon of Dried Pumpkin Note that this is NOT DRIED PUMPKIN SEEDS, this is the actual flesh of the pumpkin that is dried and ground. There is a difference.

2 scoops of unflavored 0 carb Isopure protein powder.

1/2 pound (uncooked weight) of crispy cooked bacon crumbles

Put everything into a blender and GENTLY blend it together to combine, then run through an ice cream maker.

It is really good.

If you want to boost it naturally try dosing 3g of DAA 12days on/off. Next, eat cholesterol filling foods late at night ie. eggs, steak, bacon. Last, I also believe selenium could help too in the morning and at night. Tim Ferris mentioned that eating 2 of these Brazilian Nuts to help increase test.

btw, please dont downvote because I mentioned Tim lol.

Since her hair is dry from overwashing, you can make your own conditioner for very cheap to help restore it. (Do this after getting a haircut and taking several inches off to get rid of the split ends.)

Buy whole flax seeds. Simmer them in a small pot for an hour on low. Let them air cool for a few hours on the stove. Skim the goop from the top. Strain it using a coffee filter into a little bowl.

Have your daughter use it as a conditioner when she showers next. Going forward, she never shampoos her hair. Ever. Instead, have her wet her hair thoroughly, put this stuff in her hair and leave it there. Then she washes her body, shaves, brushes her teeth, whatever. Then she combs her hair in the shower using a wet brush or very wide tooth comb. Then she rises it out.

For clarity, a wet brush is something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GTR6164

A wide tooth comb is something like this ($5.99 for 2): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0756QT3SW

Whole flax seeds ($2.99): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MYFZR8Z

Has anyone had these? If so how are they?

Great win tonight boys, let's keep this up and we'll be in good shape come the all-star break.

As /u/slater125 pointed out, you're best off buying the almonds in bulk. I can get bulk organic almonds for like $6/lb at my local grocery store. And here is a 4lb bag of almonds for $18 on amazon. Though those are dry roasted, not raw.

Why raw? And do you know that 99% of "raw" almonds are actually still pasteurized - usually by a steam method? You can get around it a couple of ways, they mention them in the article. Luckily in my town, I can find truly raw Spanish and Italian almonds. And you can taste the difference, they have a very bitter taste, it kind of makes my tongue feel numb. If you've ever had raw apricots, it's a similar bitterness, just not as strong. Raw apricots might be a good alternative. You're supposed to eat like 7 of them a day or something and if you do, they have an anti-cancer property. But personally I can't stand the way they taste.

These help! For some reason the 100 cal packs are $40 on Amazon, but if you figure how many nuts you get in 17.5g it's about 5 carbs. Not a bad amount, and you can avoid the potential disasters that sugar alcohols may cause! These are great too. Some other good travel options are Bone Broth Packets, green olive snack packs, and meat sticks! Of course quest bars are always easy to find! But they're $6 at the airport. I also carry some nuun tablets with me because I'm always stressed and not drinking enough when traveling! But have fun! You got this in the bag!

Blue Diamond Habenero BBQ almonds. Oh...oh god. They're the best substitute BBQ chips I've found, PERIOD. A whole can is 12 carbs total, so you can eat a handful or two and be totally fine!!

tokyo bananas are fucking delicious and that show just reminds me of how i can order them on amazon right now . I'm pretty sure that was the point of the show. Fucking Japan, man. Youth aren't as interested in motorcycles? All the manufacturers get together and make an anime about siqq bikes. Banana futures down? Enter Bananaya.
