That's the type that I found on my camera, but I was never able to get the original one free from the board. I cranked my soldering iron to 800F, but still no luck. Felt like I was going to fry the board with heat before it came loose.
Maybe someone with more SMD soldering experience could explain how to do this.
Would something like this work? And i just wire I️t with a Capacitor? Any specific value? I know that bass capacitors tend to vary from .03uf to .1uf, would they work? Or do i need a higher value?
Do you have an examples of antennas like this? I'm looking on amazon and what I'm seeing doesn't quite make sense to me: I see metal poles
these also help , google ferrite beads . they suppress noise very good Uxcell a13062800ux1033 3.5 mm x 6 mm x 0.8 mm Axial Lead Ferrite Beads Inductors 100 Piece https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EZBICXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_geqUAbZKXDFZA
also i was doing some probing and i found out that aluminum oxide or copper oxide will form a layer on your probing surface and it does not conduct electricity as well so make sure you prep the surface by scrubing it with an abrasive pad . i thught it was signal noise nessing up my probing , but it was my surface .
Desoldering can be a pain! Using a chisel tip, put a very small amount of solder on the iron. Then put a liberal amount of flux on the pad. Push the desoldering braid into the pad with the flat part of the iron. You should get most of the solder up.
Edit: Here's a part that should be around the right size. There's an illustration of the dimensions on the page which you should compare to the one you're replacing. For this part, the inner sides of the pads should be about 12.7mm apart. Also, I apologize for the typo in my original post. This is definitely a 22uH inductor, not 220uH!
I don't know the current shipping rates or where you live so here are a few more sources for the part:
