Wow, you sound like my twin down to height/weight/age. I was just researching glucose meters (even though I've been tested several times and don't have diabetes), just so I could test myself and make sure I don't get too low of blood sugar. I've also always been a really picky eater (almost no veggies, no seafood), and I don't cook or exercise. Real healthy :)

I've been dealing with the hungry-til-I-wanna-cry for years-- thankfully I had a patient ex bf who'd help me get food. Now that I live alone and am on a cocktail of migraine/adhd meds (trokendi, wellbutrin, adderall...) that make me feel dizzy/nauseous to the point of almost fainting, the problem is getting worse. I've definitely run to dry heave over the toilet after climbing the two flights of stairs to my apartment.

I don't have any miracle answers, but here's what kind of works for me-- carry food and a liter-size bottle of water everywhere. These end up not being the healthiest things because it has to be portable, non-perishable, and picky-friendly... but I do what I can.

Here's what I carry:

  • Squeezy applesauce This is about as easy as it gets to inject calories into my body, short of an IV.
  • Stretch Island fruit leather-- Grape is the best flavor, followed by raspberry and strawberry.
  • Mini clif bars -- I got sick of these so I don't eat them anymore. I also feel like they require some effort (chewing?) if that makes sense-- not as easy to eat when you're in the desperate, crying on the floor phase of hunger.
  • Chewy bars -- these are handy for purse and taste good.
  • Fiber 1 bars

Note: Several of the above items are way cheaper at Costco than Amazon or grocery stores -- the fruit leather, chewy bars, and applesauce in particular. Keep several snacks in your purse and car at all times. I always have 2-3 fruit leathers in my purse along with a chewy bar or two.

    Easy snacks for at home:
  • Small boxes of raisins -- these don't last as long as plastic-sealed options, but they do the trick.
  • Drink a glass of milk-- ~8g of protein!
  • Sugary juice (think POG, OJ, 100% real apple cider--yum!)
  • Lots of fruit-- I buy fresh fruit every 3-4 days. Wash & cut right away so it's ready to eat-- I go with grapes, cherries, any kind of berry, and bananas. Apples, oranges etc are too much effort when I'm hangry :)
  • Greek yogurt with high protein-- I buy Dannon Light & Fit Greek because it has relatively high protein/low sugar compared to the fancier stuff I used to eat (Fage, Noosa, Siggis)

The key IMHO is to stock up on lots of non-perishable options so that a) you don't run out and b) you don't have to decide what to eat when you get desperately hungry.

Note: I used to eat a lot of fruit snacks (ranging from gushers & fruit rollups to Welches), but I advise against these. They're also easy to carry/eat, but they're so sugary, I found they made ADHD symptoms way worse.

Hope this helps & good luck!

There isn't a lot to be done other than taking care of yourself so you can feel a little bit better while it passes on its own.

MDMA -and especially at a festival- can be super taxing on the body, so make sure to keep that energy up:

Get a 1 gallon jug and fill it with water. Throw some vitamin C and E pills in there. Make sure that you're emptying that jug every day while recovering.

Protein bars. Tons of them. I like these ones with chocolate, but anything that you can be snacking on all day long and that has some actual nutrients will do.

Melatonin if you can't sleep. Just a tiny bit. They usually sell massive pills of 3mg or other ridiculous amounts. You can do with less than 0.5mg, so just cut a tiny bit of the pill and take that.

Besides that, make sure to take care of yourself even if you don't feel like it. Clean your room -or wherever you spend most of your time at-. Take a shower. Brush your teeth. While they won't counteract the effects of the molly, all of those things have psychological effects on your mood. Don't disregard them, no matter how pointless they seem, given the circumstances.

Go out and catch some sunlight every day. A walk in the park, or just around the block. Do some light exercise. Just a bit to get the blood flowing since your legs are probably destroyed from dancing and jumping for 3 days and we don't want to harm them even more.

And finally, always remember that this is just a temporary thing. It's not the new you, and it will get way, way better. So just hold on and make sure to treat yourself and make it so you aren't adding any extra weight to an already shitty situation.

I buy things that add protein, like these. I'm not a big dairy or meat eater, so I've always gotten vegetarian dishes, but I'm forcing myself to get chicken with everything. I also got the Viactive things for calcium - Tums says on it's website it's not a good source of calcium because it doesn't have viatmin D to help absorption (that had been my plan, I love the Tums Freshers)

yea,

https://www.amazon.com/Kudos-Granola-Bar-count-Pack/dp/B0029K0QPI?th=1

I was referring to the greek term which means:

praise and honor received for an achievement.

u/Izzil · 2 pointsr/EatCheapAndHealthy

I buy some 'XL' Nature Valley bars, the protein ones specifically. It's a pack of 7 for $5-$6.30 in my area, which is really the best value I've ever found for a protein bar that wasn't a clearance sale. I like them because they have way more fiber than any cheaper bars in the supplement section that my grocery stores provide. They're just short of 300 calories if I remember correctly. These you should find near all of Nature Valley's other products.

EDIT: If you don't lift or anything you could probably get full on the other XL versions too, I just haven't tried them personally to say either way.

u/fastnsx21 · 3 pointsr/Bestbuy

We have a small selection compared to other stores (even though we're the biggest). My favorite at the moment is Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Peanut Granola Bars https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MUIGJ6E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_sIlUzbXTDA5YV

I guess these granola bars are healthy. I need these because I often don't have time to eat breakfast so this would help a lot and it is healthy!

u/MapleMayhem · 2 pointsr/glutenfree

I guess they went up in price a bit, but a quick search of "kind bars gluten free" with prime shipping, sorted by price got me 360 results. The cheapest was a box of PB dark Chocolate for 62¢ a bar. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QT7V5RA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Zd13xbQSF1JXE

u/tielknight · 58 pointsr/buildapcsales

Might be running out of stock soon as it's showing that it may take 1-2 extra days to process on the listing now. Sold out now, back to the regular $40 price
____

Might need to stuff $3 worth of snacks in there to get it over the $35 free shipping limit if you don't have Prime, like this 18ct pack of Granola Bars or this bag of Cheddar Cheese Combos :D

u/Amonette2012 · 2 pointsr/1200isplenty

Check out Kind bars! They make these granola bars out of fancy grain popcorn with just a tiny bit of chocolate and they are freaking delicious. They are only 140 calories for a good sized snack.

I like to microwave them for ten seconds so the chocolate melts a little and have them with milk. If you want to get really sinful you can add a scoop of low calorie ice cream.

Edit: you can definitely get them cheaper than this in stores, but these are the ones I mean.

u/notamodel · 1 pointr/IAmA

Apparently so.

Peanut butter kudos I secretly love you but wont tell anyone..

u/seamonkee · 3 pointsr/FindItOnAmazon

I would suggest one thing a month that's not a necessity, like my one thing is chicago mix popcorn in a 7.5 oz bag so I don't have to deal with a gargantuan amount of popcorn each month.

But if you're looking for practical, any sort of variety packs of lunch snacks would be my suggestion. If you're into low-cal "chocolate", I'm a fan of Skinny Cow. Or I'm a fan of Kind bars

u/Ephemeral_Halcyon · 2 pointsr/1200isplenty

These are on Amazon and Costco US as well.

u/bbbrandddi · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Make me Smile! I would love these Annie Granola Bars because I'm a broke college student whose local Target decided to stop selling my favorite snack in the entire world!

u/uniballout · 0 pointsr/Velo

Ugh, I hate Stinger Waffles with a passion! First, you can't open them easily. Next, they are usually in a million pieces, so when you do rip the package open half of the contents fall out. The other half is a chore to try and dump into your mouth. Just a total F-up of a product in my opinion.

Instead I like Nature Valley Granola Bars. They are rock hard and won't break. The package can be opened with your teeth. You can just pull out one bar and put the other bar in your pocket for later. One bar comes out to about 100 calories as well. Super cheap and I can get them at most any grocery store rather than having to make special trips to the bike shop. I haven't had any gut problems with them either. Only real drawback is that they take a bit of work to chew, though a swig of water does the trick.

u/LuckyASN · 53 pointsr/gifs

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars Oats 'N Honey - 98 BARS - (49-1.5 oz 2 bar pouches) (4 LB 9.5 OZ) = Roughly $0.28 per oz

Nature Valley, High Protein Granola, Oats and Honey, 11oz Bag (Pack of 4) = Roughly $0.67 per oz

From this, we can lazily conclude, that amazon says /u/falcoholic92 is great big liar who's pants are probably on fire.
