2. Ade Advanced Optics Mini/Micro Reflex Dot Sight Mounting Plate for Glock Pistol

    Features:
  • This is a optic mounting plate for Glock that replaces the factory rear sight dovetail of all Non-MOS Glocks from Glock 17 to Glock 43 to glock “100”. Does NOT fit Glock with AFTERMARKET slide with optic cut.
  • The included Glock plate fit some other Pistols such as Canik TP9SF(does not fit SFX, COMBAT, SA). This Glock plate also fits Taurus GX4, G3C & G3 with factory steel sights (does not fit any other Taurus models such as G2/G2C/G3 without factory steel sight/Tx22/PT111) because those pistols made the rear sight dovetail based on the Glock rear sight dovetail specifications.
  • Fit Ade RD3-006A(Huracan), RD3-006B(Python), RD3-009(Crusader), RD3-012(Delta), RD3-013(Bertrillium), RD3-015(Zantitium), Vortex venom/viper, burris fastfire, meopta, shield, docter, insight Red dots.
  • This optic mounting plate also fits other red dot brands such as Vortex Venom/Razor/Viper, Burris Fastfire,Meopta,Docter, Insight. Does Not fit trijicon rmr/holosun/shield footprint red dots.
  • Machined from aircraft grade aluminum with hard anodizing finish. Comes with screws and hardware for installation. We highly recommend DIY only if user has gunsmith experiense, or hiring a gunsmith to install this optic plate. Unprofessional installation such as improper torque will result in screw loose, not holding zero, damage to the firearm/optic and personal injury.

On my backup gun I run this Pinty reflex sight. It's cheap and gets the job done. The adjustable brightness is a nice touch if you're playing in a dark/light environment.

On my main gun I run the Bushnell TRS-25. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Great construction and a super clear and sharp reticle.

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/Firearms

I put a cheap read dot on my 92fs (I need to take a new picture now that the safty is re-installed lol...) pic aiming.

maybe somthing like this along with a cheap red dot will work for ya?

You would need to use eaither a punch or a sight pusher to instal it and I think it would leave the gap behind the dovetail... assuming the dovetail is strong enough on its own because normally there is a good bit more metal there on a firearm.

so far this RDS has held up to the recoil of 5.7x28 on my PS90 and 9mm from my beretta though I can not attest to how well it would hold up in the feild nor battery life, I may end up shooting it to peices, but I do want to get a good micro red dot for my 92 if I really do like shooting with this one.

Another thing, I am assuming that this is a GBB? it may not be powerful enough to push the slide with the sight. This added a good bit of weight to my 92's slide and I have had it not go into battery twice now, but I don't know if it was ammo related (I kinda doubt but I was shooting reloads) or the new recoil spring thing I put in it (it dampens the recoil quite a bit due to being 2 part with 2 springs instead of one guide rod and one spring)

I have several M&P's full size and Shields. My best recommendations are.

1 Apex Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit for M&P Shield
2 Truglo TFX or TFO
Sights.
*3 SS Guide Rod

Reason I recommend the Truglo TFX or TFO is that they are both Tritium and Fiber optic. This will allow you to see better in both day and night. They are also cheaper and have a rebate running till end of the year.

I just got this one and I’m really happy with it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EWAAWGU

I’ve only taken it out once and didn’t take any hits to it, so I can’t speak to durability, but it seems like a tougher design than most reflex sights.

I did need to get a riser for it though and went with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075S3DZGY

Edit: you can see the two pieces together on my DFender on this post if you are interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/paintball/comments/cf7qs0/my_faithful_tippmann_procarbine_turned_18_this/

I've been really pleased with my Athlon Talos 6-24x50.
Its pretty sharp and clear for the cost, and is lightweight.

You get one of those utg 8-32x56 and its like 3lbs on top of your gun.

u/ZanaZamora · 1 pointr/airsoft

It uses a plate in place of the rear sight which you have to tap out with a hammer. Pretty easy to do

As a locksmith who'd dealt with numerous fingerprint reading systems, including those cheap Chinese ones on gun safes, I highly recommend something else. Service calls on devices with bad fingerprint readers outnumber service calls on similar devices with mechanical locks by 5 to 1, easy. I'd recommend something like a Gunvault electronic pushbutton, or a mechanical lock box based on the 5-button Simplex lock like this one. For a long gun safe, biometric is OK so long as there's a keypad override.

Basically, I wouldn't trust my life to one of those hinkey fingerprint readers.

u/codename_pig · 1 pointr/airsoft

A pre-installed mosfet/etu is the best you're gonna get for trigger response at a lower price. All the aftermarket drop-in mosfet/etu system are quite expensive relative to the price of that g&g r8-l.

I'm guessing the battery that it comes with is the 9.6v nimh? a 7.4v lipo will be far better for trigger response (at least as far as you can get with a small budget). Lipo batteries can be had for ~$10 each on hobbyking, and a basic smart charger will only cost you between $15-30, depending on what features you want.

The "scope" that it comes with is just a cheap red dot sight. You can find plenty of affordable and reliable red dot sights on Amazon or ali-express (example).

The bundle might be convenient, but it's definitely not the best route you should take.

u/titsdontfart · 2 pointsr/Glocks

This is what I did for my G22 and it works really well. I got a red dot mount plate that you install by removing the rear sight.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L9734Y6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I put a vortex venom on it and although it sits kind of high it is currently my most accurate pistol (out of 5 others). I didn't want to send the gun out to be milled but I wanted to try out a red dot on my glock. This seemed like the easiest way to do it.

u/RabidWeasel11 · 9 pointsr/airsoft

One little pointer tho, on a real glock the rear sight slides off with a sight pusher, my echo 1 Timberwolf has a screw inside of the slide under the rear sight that releases it. Because I did not know this I completely wrecked my original rear sight so when you do it either watch a video with the elite force glock or make sure to check for what I described. Here is what I used: Ade Advanced Optics Python Green Dot Micro Mini Reflex Sight for Handgun https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074ZVCTXB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YyhaCbN3QTH98 , Ade Advanced Optics glock Tactical Mini Dotx Sight Pistol Mount Base https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L9734Y6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VAhaCbW73ZE29

u/Econolife-350 · 2 pointsr/guns

Sure thing brother bear, as long as it's not chambered in .327 Federal.

WARNING: you will need to drill a 1/16" hole through the baseplate of the sight to put the pin through apparently. That's just what I read, seems super easy.

There are very expensive shit replicas and very cheap usable optics. (Basically an Eotech replica is expensive for how crappy it is. Go with something that’s a super simple rectangle/ circle of glass up front that’s not inside a tube or housing)

I’m really liking my Dagger Defense red dot. In fact here is an Even cheaper priced version that’s identical: https://www.amazon.com/Pinty-Reflex-Holographic-Different-Reticles/dp/B01EWAAWGU/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?keywords=red+dot&qid=1564699160&s=gateway&sr=8-11

I also used a $18 red dot from Amazon.com (basically one of the 100 Walther Red Dot knock offs) and actually liked it better than some of my real steel ones!

Something like this:
LONJN Glock 17 19 22 23 26 27 34 Mount - Vortex Venom Mount Glock Mounting Plate, Vortex Viper Mount for Glock, Glock Mount Plate for Red Dot Burris Sightmark Vortex Mini Sight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075XKB8VV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9aSPBbYWRTGEZ

Works well for my fastfire. This one is out of stock but I'm sure somebody else has them.

u/NuclearDJGames · 1 pointr/airsoft

This was my first red dot and it’s great

u/ST3ALTHPSYCH0 · 2 pointsr/ar15

Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Components-M-lok-Tall-Degree/dp/B01MQYWS0T

Looks like the 1 star was due to someone wanting a canted rail, not a rail for the 45 degree slots.

u/Ansuzalgiz · 3 pointsr/Nerf

If you want some links, I own both of these and they both work nicely for Nerf.

Ade Advanced Optics Mini/Micro Reflex Dot Sight Mounting Plate for Colt 1911 Standard - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L97365I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Unfortunately the sight doesn't work without the rail mount bottom so what I did was use the bracket that attaches to the slide from the mounting plate and made almost like a mini rail for it.

u/StankBootyEater69 · 1 pointr/guns

Ok i was a little short on the price. They are about $200 on Amazon. Its Sig Romeo 5 series

u/Cemeterystoneman · 1 pointr/Firearms

I think you're going to have a difficult time replacing that kind of part (unless its cannibalized from another existing scope which I can't find) or if somehow it could be fitted with a generic adjustment knob but I have a feeling you might be missing more than just the knob itself. If you like that particular style of scope there are other options out there (Nikon makes some to)

BSA 2-7 x 32

Vortex Crossfire II

u/Spidertech500 · 1 pointr/MosinNagant

Of course, hell I can send you some if you buy the scope + rail

As for price, I bought it for about 75$ is 50+ship fair?
The scope is Hammers Long Eye Relief Pistol Scout Scope 2-7X32 with weaver rings https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0081LT88A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_N1tEybWVJJZ12

I also have an ATI Monte Carlo stock for sale if you want

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EWAAWGU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Shows as unavailable, but the same thing is probably on AMZ somewhere under another brand name -- poke around.

EDIT: Its probably the sames as this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZM3TMO0/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5?psc=1

It's this bad boy. All quality baby

u/GelgoogGuy · 1 pointr/SigSauer

Just to ask, is this the plate you bought?

u/Drunkin_wisconsin · 1 pointr/guns

Right, but some came with a hood that slid over the front sight.

u/lardqb · 1 pointr/airsoft

I used a kit from amazon but I would not recommend. I had to heat the rails and the part where it mounts on the gun to get it to fit. LEJUNJIE Tactical https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7XMVWX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share the other idea I had was a rail in the slide and just the lower kit from evike ( you can find it if you just search Glock) TuFok Glock Sight Mount Plate https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KVTJH5T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_as80CbDRWWTXK
