Ok, you've got some nice stuff and some crap. Not going to argue with the money cause that's your choice. Let's go down this one thing at a time.

Why get a helmet and a hat? Helmets are hot and uncomfortable, and I'd just get rid of it. Instead, I'd just stick with the hat and use a one tigris mask.

For goggles, I'd go with the Pyramex I-force. They're dual-pane lenses to prevent fogging.

Can't go wrong with Crye, but I would not order from them. They take forever to ship. I just ordered a pair of paints from Optactical and it they shipped the next day. You'll also want the Airflex Knee pads as the pants don't come with them.

Have you tried on those boots? Always try them on before buying.

Have you looked into Ronin Tactics belts? They're super nife. A lot slimmer than the HSGI one, and stays in place with Velcro.

Condor isn't bad, but I'd recommend looking into chest rigs instead of palte carriers. Something like the Haley Strategic D3CR-x

Can't argue against Mechanix. Love mine.

IF you do go with a plate carrier and need pouches, I'd recommend the Blue Force Ten Speed pouches. Super low profile when mags aren't in it and basically sits flat.

Tacos are great, but you want the Modular one so it can go on Molle.

The Condor Pistol pouch is surprisingly nice for the price. I'd recommend that. Or HSGI Tacos.

I like my Orca Tactical EMT pouch. Cheap and good quality.

I don't know much about Hydration Carriers, but I would recommend the NCstar Small Backpack if you want something a bit bigger. I have 2. They're good quality and have room for a hydration bladder.

Get a two-point sling. I've heard good things about the Ferro Concepts Slingster and I use an LBX 2 point sling

That's a glock holster.

The Krytac LVOA isn't bad, but it's more expensive than others that perform the same simply because it looks fancy. I'd recommend either a different Krytac, or a VFC avalon

I've heard BAMF mags are alright, but never used them myself. I like PTS EPMs, though they are a bit expensive. They just feed great.

Don't get nimh batteries. Go with lipos. They're just better. This 7.4v 1200mah 20c will fit into Krytacs or VFCs. I use them in my VFC. I use a Tenergy Lipo charger. I would recommend looking at Hobbyking for batteries, as they're much cheaper, and getting the Imax B6AC charger.

.2g bbs? Really mate? I'd always stick with at least .28s. I like Elite Force and always use them.

For a scope, check out the UTG 1-4.5x28 cqb scope. It has 1-4.5x variable magnification and is very nice. I use it on my VFC and would definitely recommend it.

Don't know enough about lights to argue for or against it.

Don't get an Elite Force 1911. Just a few better that I can think of: KJW 1911, ASG CZ P-09 or SP-01, TM Hi-capa, and ICS BLE XAE

You were going to get better ammo for your pistol than your primary? Wat.

Do NOT use that silicone spray like Evike says or it will break your gun. I mean, spraying silicone oil into your mag? Idiots...

For my TM hi-capa, I've been using Light and Heavy murder oil and it seems to work fine. Light for the internals, heavy for the slide/frame.

Christ, that was a long comment. Any questions?

It's a little big for 3 days but I love my Maxpedition Tactical Toiletry Bag it's heavy nylon comes in black and has a clear pouch that you can easily remove for TSA, although I just always through the whole bag in the TSA bin and I've never had a problem. Has a hanging hook and strap and I've used it for 2-3 weeks at a time.

u/_Vard_ · 6 pointsr/cosplay

Yes! I always tell people, if your cosplay doesnt have pockets, it could probably use a good utility belt! Like

This one or That one for a super hero/villain, I have This Brown one that i wear with my knight armor.
not having pockets BLOWS. especially at a Con where you want quick access to Phone/Camera/Money

Glad to help, I would also recommend a small range bag like this for shooting gear like glasses, hearing protection, and other range necessities. With the molle you can get various accessories for customization.

:(

I had an awesome one back in the day that dropped into the spare tire well. It had a couple of compartments that had plastic lids to organize things. With the CV being phased out everywhere, they're available at state surplus sites for pennies on the dollar.

OK, so since that's not an option, here's what I'd suggest.

First, get yourself a couple of tackle boxes. One for your basic crime scene stuff (powders, tape, brushes, etc), one for your first aid stuff, one for odds and ends.

Next, invest in an under-bed storage tote. The long one. Measure your trunk first, then find one that's the right length. That will hold your bulkier stuff. Make sure to get one that hinges in the middle.

Then, it's all about the bags. Active shooter bag, bag for stuff you need but don't keep in the cabin, etc. If you're as paper dependent as we were back in the day, consider one of those hard-sided hanging file holders.

Take homes for the win!

I'm 5'6" 215lbs. I don't have a problem waiting until Christmas to get something good but I desperately need something a little better until I can make it to Christmas. It looks like some people use Osprey as well but maybe it's geared towards a different audience? https://www.osprey.com/us/en/category/technical-packs/hiking/

This one looks good and is the cheapest one I could find from 5.11 tactical that had the waist strap.

Anyone looking for a best, I suggest this one. Just got it on Amazon for $100 off. It took a couple weeks to come in and just arrived yesterday. I loaded it with my gear today and tested out the seat/frame. I'm impressed so far. Going to take it out in a couple weeks to really test it out while I'm scouting.

I have the Maxpedition Fliegerduffel Adventure Bag. Lots of pockets and transforms into a backpack. Brought it to Vegas recently. Has a shoulder strap too. I love this bag. Link

i have been using these for a few years and they work great.
Mechanics Tool Bag $12.99 11'' x 7'' x 6''

Jumbo Mechanics Tool Bag / Duffle Bag $22.09 17 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Edit: to space them out

u/Ralphusthegreatus · 1 pointr/OutdoorsGear

This is more expensive than what you're looking for but your grandchildren will enjoy it when your dead and gone. It can be found cheaper than the link I'm posting but everyone seems to enjoy Amazon.

Tactical man purse. Mostly for when I'm out and about. For more unlikely situations to need it(loaded statement I know). For situations I'm less comfortable with... You'll have to make your own decisions.

Good enough for 2 pistols, 10 magazines, ears eyes, several boxes of ammo. I believe mine is the light duty.

u/Jon_Grgry · 1 pointr/EDC

This - Not the cheapest option, but works well.

u/Icutsman · 4 pointsr/batman

Nah, the belt was purchased from Amazon. Here is a link to the item if you were curious: Fox Outdoor Products Military Belt, Olive Drab https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00545WAFO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_TOL1BbH1R1FE5

this duffel bag is cheaper, larger, has a waterproof bottom, and can be carried like a backpack.

u/artist508 · 1 pointr/airsoft

This is probably the cheapest, it's not a common size, and the people that play with a real Barrets have money for fancy hard shell cases.

u/kriegshund · 1 pointr/ProtectAndServe

Maxpedition has a good one. A little expensive, but it will last.

You are looking for a tool bag. I use this one. It is big enough for two pistol cases, eyes/ears, targets, multitool, ammo, etc. On the inside there are pockets along the walls where you can put magazines/boxes of .22LR. I've had mine for a year and there are no visible signs of wear.
