my wife and i just started family runs. with the weather improving get yourself a good running stroller (get the ones that click into your car seat LIFESAVER!!) and hit some outdoor runs. my son almost always falls asleep after about 15 mins and if he doesnt he loves it just sits there watching the world fly by. your times will be slower than usual (clearly, your pushing around extra weight and with the canopy up a gust of wind feels like your pushing a god damn parachute). Make sure you also read the instructions on said stroller for running. my first time using it the wheel wobbled like a bastard, turns out i had to lock the front wheel and take turns a little slower. i know they make 2 child running strollers too one for a newborn one for a toddler. if you cant find it i usually put the TV on to mickey mouse clubhouse and let the kids watch TV while i run on the treadmill. the younger guys usually fall asleep to the sound while the other will be content with just watching TV. If you are nervous about running with a newborn because of a tipping stroller i used this it can take some getting used to so i would start with a walk then make start running with it. it worked for me because even if i tripped i had the leash attached to it and it would break away and not tip over. just make sure you run on a not so busy street that way you are on concrete and dont have to worry about roots or rocks.

Check this one out. I almost bought this one because I fell in love with how lite and easy it was to fold. It may not be in the level of baby zen yoyo but it definitely was compact and light. Also it can be used with car seats and goes nearly flat. Price seems to be 230 ish depending on where you buy.

I travelled a lot when my twins were young, and I liked the baby carrier/umbrella stroller combo for traveling through cities. One of my friends with close in age kids has a city select double stroller that I'd totally have spent the money on, if it had been available.

I'm pretty sold on the city select because we want 3 kids and I can almost see my future with needing at least a 2 seater at once. I want a stroller that I can add a section to later for a second baby instead of buying a whole new stroller. I want to buy it once and only once.

We were in the same boat as you, couldn't justify $500 on the Bob Revolution. For whatever reason target had a random clearance on it last year and we bought it for about $250. So keep an eye out and you might get lucky, we did!

Otherwise we were looking at this Joovy.

We have the Joovy room 2, it randomly broke, we called Joovey and they sent a new one to our house in 2 days and they covered all associated expenses. So I trust their cust service.

I just bought the baby jogger vue. They have a lite version (13 pounds I think) my guy doesn't like to nap in the stroller and even when I recline it he pops up but I did like that this one in especially in the parent facing mode had deep sides when upright so if he did decide to fall asleep he could without hanging out the sides.

If you plan on using the stroller on gravel, I'd ditch both of those options. You're going to want something that has all terrain tires. Those plastic tires will be very hard to push through gravel and the ride will be pretty rough. I started out with a Graco stroller similar to that one. Once I realized how horrible it was on different terrains, I got a Graco jogging stroller.

Any suggestions for special needs kids? Our problem with most umbrella strollers is they aren't wide enough or they have very short leg rests.

Well, I really need it to ride smoothly on more bumpier roads. I'm simply wondering if a bigger front wheel helps with that noticably or not. I also need to worry about size.
