Went to Maui in December and I was really surprised by how casual it was! Even going out to nice restaurants - you could wear shorts and a tshirt and perfectly fit in. I took one somewhat dressy romper for a night out - it was actually this cheap romper off Amazon.

Another thing you could look into is attire targeted at burning man attendees although it will be less wearable. Yeah, but usually they're more fitted like this or kinda more like a jumpsuit material this. Bethany's are always too big for her.

I totally bought a harem pant romper and it is amazingly comfortable. I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant. Since you’re in the Middle East, you might have better luck finding something local, but I’ll link what I bought from Amazon. I get tired of the super maternal looking maternity wear, so I’ve been trying to think outside the box lately.

Most of the ones I'd seen on Amazon were either oddly fitting or too snug or something casual like jersey fabric. That NYDJ one looks much nicer!!

I mentioned them before, and I'll say it again: Alice + Olivia. Get them on sale-figure out your size, then track them down on ebay/poshmark/therealreal or another similar site. I usually pay less than $100 for mine, even though the retail is far higher. They make some cropped variants that might be full length on you, too. I've paid as little as $30 for a couple pairs of mine. Well worth digging around for them online.

edit: also, contrary to the amazon reviews, I have these bb dakota pants and they neither looked cheap nor ran all that small. If you can find them for a good price, gamble on them.

edit 2: if blue pants are a possibility, these ones from shopbop are hella cheap and might be an option. I haven't tried this brand, but they seem to fit your style criteria, and shopbop skews higher-end, so the quality should be decent. I've bought from them a number of times without issue.

I just bought this from Amazon and cannot *wait* to wear it out (minus the brawlette and wedges). These things are great when you aren't a complete dipshit.

I loathe maternity clothes, so when at about 10 weeks (second pregnancy) my pants with a waistband were "not working" I switched over to things like this, which I styled with a plain tank and a jacket or just a tee. I'm also still in maxi dresses (sized up at this point, will be nice and drapey for post-partum) and I adore my maternity maxi skirts. But those cotton pant thingies are a-maz-ing.
