My favorite treat ever :Jujubees you may also like Good&Plenty . Good and Plenty are really savory and licorice based , and jujubees are like chewier Mike and Ikes. Both of these candies are oldies but yummies and make me go omnomnom!

I haven't actually smelled it in a long time, but evertime I eat these they smell like what I remember play doh smelling like...

Is aussie style licorice really a thing or a marketing gimmick? Because I'm eating this stuff I got for Christmas, it's awesome.

Salted Licorice. I had a friend growing up whose mother was Dutch and used to get these ZALTA DROPS delivered. The come in regular and double salt. While they are an acquired taste, sometimes I get a hankering for one.

Not my recipe but I picked up a kit for a salted black porter from a local brewery (Field House brewing). The beer uses salty dutch licorice. I saw what they were using and added a full roll of Klene zoute drop. I was a bit worried about what the ammonium chloride would end up like but it's one of my favorites in the cellar. I call it the dubbel zout porter now.

What is the Swedish brand at Andersons? I've seen the Darrell Lee Australian Licorice. it's fantastic licorice, IMHO.

u/aleyp58 · 2 pointsr/snackexchange

You can find this in Northern Europe, Germany and Turkey. I've seen some in Finland and Denmark. They go by other names. This picture is the Danish one. It's essentially Turkish pepper aka a kind of licorice. You might have a better chance with the English name. FAZER is a Finnish company.

If you like licorice, then this is a good bet Yummy!

This one? I have a bag of that right now, sitting on my kitchen counter!

There is a small European import store in my town which carries it. Unfortunately no Finnish ones, which I do like a little bit more than the dubbel zout.

edit: I have just been informed by my wife that I do not have it on the kitchen counter anymore. Apparently it was on the table, and one of my cats thought that it would be good times to knock over the open bag and spill them everywhere.

Mais um como eu! Encomenda Salmiakki da próxima vez que usares a amazon.co.uk, vais adorar ;)

Edit, link.

Don't think I picked up the right item because whatever I did was so salty it was crazy. I like salt, but this was beyond my palate!

Turns out zout means salt...
