Do you grip your pen super tightly when you write? If that's the case, I would recommend some pencil grips. You can buy fountain pens with the grip built in, like the Lamy Safari, but the hard plastic doesn't encourage a soft grip. If you get a really big soft pencil grip, then your fingers won't be able to close as tightly and it should reduce hand and wrist pain. You want something like this. Annoyingly, I have arthritis in my dominant hand and wrist, so I have to use grips when it flares.
The tip of your pen or pencil is what's doing the work to apply the ink to the paper. You only need to hold the pen tightly enough to guide it.
If you do some calligraphy drills, like just filling a page with big circles while using the grip on whatever you're writing with, it should train your hand to group less tightly. You can Google some calligraphy drills to print off and mix it up. Just a week of those should listen your grip, but if you do it for six weeks, I think that will help you a lot.
Also look into hand exercises and stretches. If you just go to YouTube and type in "hand yoga" you should turn up some videos. Journey Junkie has a wrist-strengthening video that I like a lot.
Good luck and godspeed!
I ordered a bunch from Amazon. If I had to do it again, I would purchase more hemostats than I thought I needed, and would only get a few of the smaller ones. For what I do, the bigger ones are more practical. The little ones might open fairly wide but they are difficult to clamp once you have several layers of fabric folded together.
There are good buys on combos of straight and curved hemostats but I would recommend choosing one style and buying only those to ensure that your angles are uniform. Or buy a bunch of combos to have a full set of each.
Here are ones I use most: 10" straight for $5.49 each
And I just found these: 12" for $4.95
Happy clamping!
For art, I'm exploring various grip tools right now, since gripping small pencils and things hurts my hands quickly. This is my favorite so far: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3DM6K7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I also got these foam tubes of various sizes that you can put on anything with a handle, but I haven't used them as much. Otherwise, I mostly practicing having a looser drawing and painting style, as well as taking lots of breaks.
Gaming is challenging as I can no longer use controllers and I don't have fast reflexes, but I still play PC games when my hands are feeling good -- I just stick to Skyrim or Minecraft or puzzle games. I've found the 2/3DS XL and WiiU to be quite usable in bed, propped on a pillow (I haven't splurged on a switch yet, but I think it'd work similarly).
My thinking is, my hands are only going to get worse, so I need to find ways to enjoy what I love NOW.
It's hard to know those things until you are faced with such issues. I helped a friend's dad with parkinsons and arthritis. [This thing] (https://www.amazon.com/Allstar-Innovations-Stretching-Straining-Convenient/dp/B072J9RX5Z/ref=sr_1_7_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1506427668&sr=1-7&keywords=sock+aid) helped so much with socks and this thing was super useful on the go. This and this I've just seen but they look useful too. Check the reviews, they might help you know if they're worth it. So sorry you're going through such a hard time. Sending you big hugs.
Get scissors with a print they are easier to spot as yours. I would go with scissor more like this...

or these...

Mine are green with yellow happy faces. ; )
Whitcoat clipboards are awesome....

Maybe something like this could help?

I need door knob grips because of medical reasons. Anything else from my wishlist would be great too. It has cat litter, over the counter meds, food, etc.
This might help. Don't pinch that thing in half though, or you'll have TWO bobbit worms in your tank.
You should have read my LPT last week. Buy one of these and carry it with you. I almost never get off of my mower.
https://www.amazon.com/Claw-Reacher-Grabber-VIVE-Extension/dp/B00O47LW8E
These work: https://www.amazon.com/Yansanido-Pencil-Grip-Silicone-Utensils/dp/B01KE1LWNS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1478054153&sr=8-6&keywords=three+finger+pencil+holder
Mouth stick
Where did you get those card holders?
*edit:
Dice are from a bulk Chessex Order, so these are unavailable
Card holders are from Ableware and available at Amazon
hemostat
I used the thicker variations of this stuff: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vulkan-Meditape-Zinc-Oxide-Roll/dp/B0056PRZUW/
Once it heals it doesn't generally come back, your skin toughens up quickly.
There's a product called Dycem, I know it from physical therapy, but it's a really thin non-slip rubber sheet. it might work to get some of that (or something similar) and cut a little strip to put under the clamp too? It may increase a little shock absorption, but it's thin enough, I imagine it should work with any other clamps you end up using too, so your tests are all similar...

I'm a Right side Shoulder Disarticulation. Which means I have no Right arm at the shoulder. Cutting and slicing, washing dishes (I cheat with a dishwasher) stirring because pot or bowl moves are all difficult.
These are indispensable for me:

For Big jobs:
https://www.amazon.com/Alaskan-Ulu-Legendary-Knife-Arctic/dp/B0006PILUK/ref=pd_lpo_121_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BXP1BSF2600MXDQ6HRDD
At the dinner table:

For opening jars and stirring:

I also use Cast iron pots and pans almost exclusively because their weight allows me to stir fry and mix on the stove top without the pot spinning.
I have some food prep posts on my blog too:
