This looks like the same one I have, the Bissell spot clean pro.

Comes with a wide and narrow brush attachment. I'm a big fan of it. I used it on a pre-owned accord I bought a few years ago just because, even though the seats didn't look too dirty, and dear god the shit that came out of those cushions was ridiculous. I use it on my cars but also carpet in my house.
My carpet cleaner has this attachment. It works that well if it's general dirt and dust. It takes a bit more elbow grease if it's something nastier (like orange soda all over my car seats that happened the first day of a week long road trip.) They have portable ones, but I don't know how well they work.

No you're fine. You use paper paper towels as much as you can. Then you use a spot cleaner. If you don't have a spot cleaner buy one (Bissell 3624 SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner - Corded) and only use water. Then in the meantime get a more stiff brush (Mintcraft 2043 Stiff Bristle Scrub Brush) that won't be used for any other purpose.
Natures Miracle Advanced Stain & Odor, 1 Gallon
If you need it today, make a trip to the store. The reason for using enzyme cleaners is that all other cleaners set in the stains rather than removing the poop from existence. Nature's miracle drops fast when pouring, so don't overlap too much. Instead, clean it multiple times. If you don't dry it with paper towels or a spot cleaner, you might get mold as any liquid sitting under your carpet can do that
Edit, so the ideal workflow is:
For the future, make sure your dog is potty trained and also is taken care of appropriately (taken outside enough and also is happy and gets the walks and food they need). If you're a selfish asshole, you'll still do this religiously because you know it's less work than having a dog that's stressed enough to shit inside
Other small things: Use enzymatic cleaner when your puppy has accidents. If you have a lot of carpeting in your home, get one of these things. Look into health insurance.
Also, relax. It WILL get better.
And finally, something I wish I had known earlier. Keep in mind that most of us outlive our dogs. And one day you're going to be making the final drive to your vet's office, and you're going to wish like hell that you had one more day to come home to your dog, even if it meant coming home to a chewed up shoe. And you're going to wish you had one more chance to take your dog for a walk, even if it's in the pouring rain.
I learned this when I lost my heart dog at six years old to cancer, and I thought I'd have a lot longer with him. So I took my time with him for granted, and sometimes got frustrated and upset. Don't do that. EVERY bad moment with your dog is still a moment you get to spend with your dog, so take a deep breath, be patient, and love every second of it, even the bad ones. One day you'll want them all back.
I use the Bissell Spotclean Pro, which is portable, and love it.
Here's a thorough comment I posted about it a few weeks ago:
I looked at both of those and decided to go with the Bissell Spot Clean Pro because it comes with a 6" cleaning head a 3" cleaning head. I also ordered the crevice tool attachment for $8.
From what I could tell, the Rug Doctor came with only one cleaning head and it's pretty large. It did not look like it would be useful for the nooks and crannies of cars.
I've had it about 6 months and used it to clean many carpeted car mats, about 6 full car interiors (carpets, mats, cloth seats, NOT headliners) and it's performed admirably.
For a sedan with cloth seats you probably can get away without refilling it. For an SUV, you will have to refill once. It only takes a few minutes.
Here's a 10 year old Honda Pilot I detailed using it:
https://imgur.com/a/RGR8G
In addition, it has many household uses. I've cleaned both of our large couches/cushions, stairs, and a couple area rugs.
I've gotten more than its price in use already.
The only minor complaint I'd have is the hose is a bit short, you're going to have to bring it in the car/SUV with you at times. But for its price point, that's to be expected.
Just be sure to clean it out thoroughly after every use. I always fill a bucket with clean warm water when done and just set the cleaning head in there and turn it on until the tank fills up. Then empty everything out to dry.
It's also a Bissell! It's a [Bissell SpotClean portable carpet cleaner] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DBRFBK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
awesome and perfect for barf or poop. :)
The Little Green Machine/Bissell Spot Cleaner or anything of the like is worth every single penny! My dad has the Little Green and I subsequently bought the Bissell version. I haven't used it too much in my car but it got puppy urine stains out of my white carpet (previous owner installed, worst floors in my house) like it never happened. Wow, I should get sponsored by these guys.

Here is the one I got
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DBRFBK/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Wait for it to go on sale, I'm sure it does periodically. Anything on amazon you can track prices on camelcamelcamel.com btw. Free site.
They were cloth seats, thankfully. I use a portable extractor:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DBRFBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have two! I have this portable one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008DBRFBK/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484311285&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=bissell+carpet+cleaner&dpPl=1&dpID=51FLnh%2BdtqL&ref=plSrch
and a whole room stand up one that I can't seem to find (we got the stand up one years ago) but any model would work I think. We've also used the Bissell "Green Machine" but prefer the first one I linked to (just got that one for Xmas and it cleaned up all the purple paint my daughter spilled last night!)
Luckily I haven't had to deal with uber puke yet; however, this is my method for cleaning my carpet if my dog gets sick:
I got my bissell spot cleaner on sale for $100. I use it for spot cleaning my car about once a month and it does wonders. Everyone always compliments me how great my car looks. Plus you can use it for your house as well. Its honestly fucking amazing. It has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years for apt security deposits.
As others have mentioned, baking soda can potentially turn into a gooey mess if mixed with certain liquids. I would avoid it for cleaning cars.
I have this one and it’s worked great for me so far.
I love our $30 dust buster. It picks up poop and smaller pieces of hay like a champ.
We also have a portable steam cleaner for accidents.
Our Dyson canister vac is great for pet hair, but I plan to get a ProLux canister vac when it dies.
I have two in an apartment and they do well. They can at times bark because they saw/heard/imagined someone outside. We bought an extractor to help with the little bladder/stubborn brain issue they have and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
We have 6 cats. While it does not get that bad actually, I suggest getting a portable carpet cleaner. Also it's expensive but the Rocco & Roxie brand cleaner liquid really works. If they are peeing in a specific spot then puppy pads help.
Also if you are cleaning up lots of barf then either
A) feed less cause they might be gorging
B) get bigger kibble food so they actually have to chew it (one of ours was swallowing the smaller stuff whole) or get "slow bowls"
C) give them hairball medicine (it's basically a fiber supplement so they poop out the hair)
D) comb them frequently (esp if they're long-haired)
E) try different food that agrees with them better.
Can't decide between these two for the upholstery in my car. Anyone used any of these before, how good did it work?
Standard 303 protectant is on right now, but the price kinda blows.

Also this Bissel carpet cleaner, which Ive seen other users mention they have and like it for extraction.

Can someone recommend a good, inexpensive carpet / upholstery cleaner? I have two vehicles I want to deep clean the interior of. I was thinking about getting the bissle spot clean link as it is $99 at a hardware store near me. I want to clean those seats.
Yep definitely get a carpet cleaner it's a life saver with dogs. I personally have this one.
I prefer the smaller one, since it's easier to store and lug around.
I know these are probably the lamest and most boring things to be excited over, but I really hope we get this portable carpet shampooer and this handheld vacuum. Right now, everytime there's a little mess, or crumbs, or whatever I have to haul out our big vacuum. We also have a cat who likes to gorge on her food and then throw up everywhere, I would love not to get out the massive shampooing beast everytime.
Get an extractor. It’ll put you down about 200$ but it’s worth every penny. This is the one I use: Bissell 3624 SpotClean... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008DBRFBK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you for reminding me! I went out and forgot to look beforehand. It’s the Bissell SpotClean Pro. This is it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008DBRFBK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_79RZAbNHT6QPT

> tapijtreiniger
After spending some time looking, I'm concerned I can only find full size carpet cleaners (tapijtreiniger). I'm looking for a small "spot" cleaner as I have a dog and children, but little carpet. I was thinking something small like a Rug Doctor or this. I would prefer to buy from a local Dutch store from a EU brand.
It's not quite about learning Dutch, but any ideas?
