Because I'm bored and do this for a living I'm going to put together an alt build for you:
Nice entry level Skylake gaming Mobo (I've used this, it's nice, has USB 3.1 which will be very helpful in the coming years for data transfers)
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486579857&sr=1-2&keywords=lga+1151
Processor: G440
https://www.amazon.com/Intel-BX80662G4400-Pentium-Processor-FCLGA1151/dp/B015VPX05A
RAM (only 8GB but get 16 if you can afford another $40 or so)
https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-2133MHz-Non-ECC-HX421C14FBK2/dp/B00TY6A1P0/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486579959&sr=1-5&keywords=DDR4
Video card:
RX 470 OC edition, I like this card great bang for the buck:
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Radeon-RX-470-ARMOR/dp/B01N3TCNNW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486580034&sr=1-1&keywords=RX+470+4gb
SSD: budget one, but way better than a spinning drive:
https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-240GB-Internal-SP240GBSS3S55S25AE/dp/B01M61OWRI/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486580111&sr=1-1&keywords=240gb+ssd
Power supply:
no reason to spend more with this build:
https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Warranty-Power-Supply-100-N1-0400-L1/dp/B00LV8TZAG/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486580138&sr=1-1&keywords=400+watt+power+supply
Case:
https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-VERSA-Micro-Gaming-Computer/dp/B01CLIZ698/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486580162&sr=1-5&keywords=micro+atx+case
total cost of build is roughly:
Mobo ($70)
CPU ($60)
GPU ($170)
RAM ($70)
SSD ($60)
PSU ($30)
Case ($40)
So total is roughly $500 and with this build you have a great upgrade path, which you won't have at all with the one you proposed.
If you buy these components brand new right now it would cost around 70K. Depending on warranty left, condition, usage I would deduct 10-20K, which is around 50-60K. This still leaves out HDD, cabinet, PSU, mouse, keyboard etc. Very rough estimate.

In case you TL;DR:
AMD is better bang for your buck. Intel is better for cutting-edge. Cutting edge is only relevant to $1500 procs, therefore anything Intel makes that's below AMDs top processor at the time, is basically overpriced.
Basically, the main differences between AMD and Intel are as follows:
AMD:
Cheaper than Intel in basically every facet
Uses 1 physical core per thread (irrelevant unless you're getting a very expensive CPU)
Intel:
Take your example build:
Proc - $117 - No heat sink or water cooling. 2 core, 4 threads
https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i3-6100-Cache-Processor-BX80662I36100/dp/B015VPX2EO
Board $76 - Not a lot to say about the board unless there's something about it you specifically want or like, if it works and supports all the cards and such you'll be needing, a board is a board.
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4
That's $193, and you get:
Building a cheapo AMD rig:
Proc - $105 - 8 core/8 thread @4.2 GHz - Comes with heat sink and pre-applied thermal paste in my experience.
https://www.amazon.com/AMD-8-Core-FX-8300-Processor-FD8300WMHKBOX/dp/B00TR8YL4W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1481881649&sr=1-1&keywords=amd+fx+8300
Mobo - $57 - Same as last mobo, if it does what you need it to as per what you're looking for, and fits your case, a mobo is a mobo. Cheapo one for sure.
https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-DDR3-Micro-Motherboard-GA-78LMT-USB3/dp/B009FC3YJ8/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1481880866&sr=1-2&keywords=am3%2B+motherboard
That's $162, and you get:
DDR3 ram is also cheaper, which is another thing to think about and price out. AMD doesn't support DDR4 yet, thus using DDR3 still, that intel board requires DDR4. Expect to pay more.
So, in these examples, you can see that you get a lot more for a lot less pretty easy with AMD. I currently have an AMD rig with the FX 8350 in it, which is basically a more stable 8300 with a base speed of 4GHZ instead of 3.3, both can reach 4.2GHz.
I personally rock the 970 Aura by Asus (mobo). It's been great to me, and has some LEDs on it for the extra lookers!
A lot of people have biases towards either product, but my bias for AMD is just because of rational, why pay more for less? I haven't noticed any differences in problem rates with Intel vs AMD, either, it's not like they just make cheap garbage parts ;)
Why did you choose that motherboard for the cheaper builds? Theres so many cheaper motherboards which have a lot of the same stuff. Does it matter? For example your choice, Another in the same price range. Plus it looks all "gamerfied" Does that matter? I know the chipset is the key since all cheaper motherboards are H110.
Either you buy a i5 6600k and keep the mobo. Or keep the Cpu and change the mobo with this https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1468267445&sr=8-4&keywords=lga+1151
OK I have looked around I'm still confused so i hope you guys can help.
I have a NZXT s340 case and a MSI H110M GAMING LGA1151 motherboard. Im looking at Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050 GDDR5 2GB PCI-E for my video card. Would this be compatible with my stuff? If you have a recommendation for a different £110/$135 video card let me know.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01B4U47E4/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Worked with my i5-7600k and had 16gb ddr4 ram
I changed the motherboard to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B4U47E4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
, does it still work out?
and you only need a motherboard?
gigabyte g1 sniper b6
EDIT: oh sorry in Canada it's alot more expensive than in the Netherlands. I'll keep looking.
EDIT 2: MSI H110M gaming
Is this Ram compatible with this mother board?
Ram: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01DPSQOO4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Motherboard: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01B4U47E4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I tried checking pcpartpicker but I couldn't find the RAM in there.
Did you put a Z170 so he could upgrade the GPU later?
If not, he could get MSI H110M Gaming mobo instead for $69.99 from Amazon?
I want to do a 480 but im afraid of the power supply issue. I dont want it to ruin my board. This is my mobo https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B4U47E4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for your reply. I have a PS/2 keyboard and optical disk so I should be fine there.
Do you have any suggestions for a motherboard? This is the other highly reviewed one. There is also this micro ATX one but at this point the price difference has almost vanished. Aside from these two all the ones on Amazon have low reviews (in quantity). I previously had a motherboard from AsRock with a completely frozen boot menu that I could never fix so I don't mind paying more for quality. I've never even heard of VRM, it's quite difficult to determine motherboard quality.
MSI H110M for $60 after ten dollar rebate is a possible option

I just noticed in the PCPP you changed the motherboard, the one you posted appears to have 4 6gb SATA ports, If I want to do SSD+HHD+optical will I need that motherboard? The original one I posted only appears to have two on it.Thanks again!
Edit- Looks like it has "SATA: 4X SATA3" I think I just didnt see them because two are stacked vertically next to two horizontal ones. Any idea what the "Gaming" version of the motherboard changes?
20 cad could make or break the build.Looks like they cost the same lmao, no question then.
How is https://www.amazon.ca/MSI-H110M-GAMING-Skylake-Motherboard/dp/B01B4U47E4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
Does that seem like a decent mobo? Great reviews.
Does [this] (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01B4U47E4?tag=kit-gl-ca-20) run kaby lake without flashing a bios? If it doesn't, is it possible to flash without a skylake cpu??
It's me agian. Install new GPU no display in monitor.I have a pre-built hp p7-1120 I upgraded the power supply to a 500W. Now I think the problem is my mobo My current one is a uatx. What one I should get with out spending too much money. I'm thinking this. Also what are things I should know before installing a new mobo?
Had a friend do some research because they're smart as shit with computers and this is what he came up with. If I did get this stuff it would work and be compatible with everything else I have so I'm not worried about that. Let me know what you think?
Processor: https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-BX80646I54690K/dp/B00KPRWB9G
Motherboard: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4
MSI H110M, $75
this is a cheap red/black theme mobo that would work with a gpu and a sound card. don't buy a 1151 mobo that uses ddr3 ram, use ddr4.
that cpu mobo combo is not only better in terms on power consumption, single threaded performance, and upgradeability, but it saves you around 30 bucks.
Everything else is pretty much good although I would have tried to get the extra 100 for a 4gb 960, I understand if you were under a strict budget, I am too!
Tl:dr Better deal on amd mobo+cpu or go intel g4400 cus lga 1151 is better long term and more efficient.
Congrats
Hey. I'm trying to decide between these two motherboards. Which one do you think is better? ( I will be getting a RX 480 and a i5-6500)
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-Skylake-Motherboard-H110M/dp/B01B4U47E4/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1469561920&sr=1-4&keywords=i5+6500

Either board is compatible with your build. However your case comes with 2 case fans and the Gigabyte only has 1 fan header while the MSI has 2.
But this looks to be the cheapest H110 motherboard on Amazon Canada, also comes with 2 fan headers.
If you don't know what an M.2 is then you don't need it. Don't sweat it for now.
your initial post was nothing of the sort. it was 4 links to generic computer hardware.
