I recommend the Skullcandy Ink'd 2.0 ear buds. Amazing sound quality, durable, and the price is easy on the wallet. http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-S2IKDY-003-Earbud-Headphones-Black/dp/B007136EDG

I have a 925, and these work pretty well. The bass is good (compared to the crappy ones I had previously) and they're pretty comfortable. The button will pause / play, answer calls, and people seem to think mic quality is good. Check this out on AMZN:

Would a pair of earbuds that has a built in mic like these work to the xbox one stereo headset adapter?

u/WhoTheFuckIsKarma · 2 pointsr/PS4

I like my Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds, both the audio and the microphone sound great.

Also, I understand a lot of people like and recommend Sony's PSVita earbuds as well.

My son would love these! His current headphones are taped up from over-use!

I added it to his list, as requested here: http://amzn.com/B007136EDG

He has been gifted more than 5 items, but could still really use these so I wanted to add his name to the drawing.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

These are what I use, I've had them for a few years, you can't beat them for the price and I've never had my friends complain about my mic

I have these headphones and I really love them, especially for the price.

Budget: less than or equal to $125 CAD

Source: My MacBook Pro, HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF and my Sony Xperia XA1. Will be investing in a DAC or AMP later on by the way.

Requirements for Isolation: Sound isolation would be preferred. I plan on wearing these on my bus rides. Also I live in a one bedroom apartment so anything that doesn't leak noise is a plus for me.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public?: Yes for during my bus rides.

Preferred Type of Headphone: Closed back would be preferred.

Preferred tonal balance: Balanced though I like it if the vocals in the song I am listening to has a heavy presence.

Past headphones: Skullcandy Ink'd. Didn't like how it flattened the instruments but I loved how they boosted the vocals.

Preferred Music: I listen to The Beatles, The Bangles, Susanna Hoffs, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, ELO, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Lana Del Rey and Aimee Mann. I think they are common artists but if any of you don't know how they are please ask for samples and I will link to some of their material :)

What would you like to improve on from your set-up: In short everything but if I was to be more specific it would be durability, sound quality and comfort for long listening sessions.

Location: Canada and if possible please give me amazon.ca links only. I have a giftcard on Amazon that I would like to use when purchasing this. Thank you :)

-Budget: Less than $200

-Source: Droid Turbo smartphone, and Asus ROG laptop

-Requirements for Isolatioin: Some isolation is good, but not necessary, headphones will be worn at home, in the library, and commuting around town on bike/foot.

-Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes

-Preferred Type of Headphone: In ear headphones are by far my favorite.

-Preferred tonal balance: An overall balanced pair of headphones is best, I don't listen to a any specific genre of music enough to want to tailor my headphones in that way.

-Past Headphones: The reason I'm coming here is that I just keep churning through headphones. I keep my phone in my front left pocket, and I bike at least 5 miles each day. My constant issue, is that even with headphones in the $50-60 range, eventually the plug dies from bending against my leg, and one or both earbuds go dark. A few recent headphones that all died this way: Cheap Skull Candys, Sol Republic JAX, and a pair of Sennheiser CX 685.

-Preferred Music: I listen to a lot of Metal, Rock, Indie, EDM, Rap, Hip-Hop, basically anything high energy I can get my hands on. Some specific artists would be Godsmack, Metallica, Big B, Matisyahu, The Tallest Man on Earth, The Raconteurs, ILL Bill, Snowgoons, Bliss n Eso, Brother Ali, Knife Party, Bassnectar, and Gramatik.

-What would you like to improve on from your set-up: I'm really just looking for a pair of headphones that can stand up to a good amount of abuse, and still have at least decent sound quality without breaking the bank.

Happy to answer any other questions that I can in order to be helpful, and a pre-emptive thanks for any time you're willing to give me!

Rs.1119. Skullcandy S2IKDY-003 Ink'd 2 In-Ear Headphone with Mic (Black)

I bought this last year, its worth its price tag. very comfortable, no ear pain, mic located near neck line, bass is not that strong, if you've 'PowerAmp player' then no worries.

Mic button for media control does not work on old Samsung mobiles, works perfectly on Nexus 5.

----------

Edit: I've heard Soundmagic as good ear phones, but have no personal experience with them.

Rs.1.6k SoundMagic MP21 Noise Isolation In-Ear Headphone with Mic

What I like about Skullcandy is, the mic is in LEFT ear piece, so its easy to identify. And you can actually rest on side of your face on pillow without having pain from the ear piece.

I've been using a pair of Skullcandy earbuds for a few months and have no complaints. They cost a fraction of the Klipsch pair.

http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-S2IKDY-003-Earbud-Headphones-Black/dp/B007136EDG/

These are usually stocked at Best Buy, and they'll price match. But make sure that you are getting the "Ink'd 2.0" SKU. The others are named very similarly and look very similar. But they're not as good, or they don't have the mic, or both.

These also use flat cords, so they're not as likely to get tangled and/or kinked.

At the least, they're good to have as a backup.
