I bought this Sunlite Gold Tec Front Rack, 26"/700c, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MKHR6G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_BMO8ngFtfJywW and this Vaultz Locking Personal Security Box, 7.75 x 7.25 x 10 Inches, Black (VZ00102-2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q86PNI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_wFngWCmqhqJbk and then just used some nuts and bolts (and drilled a hole) to put it all together!
Get a little lock box with a combination lock off Amazon. That’s what I did with my medications. Vaultz is a really good brand and cheap!

One thing that may work for your situation is buying a lockbox (this is the one I use, but it is a little flimsy and can probably be forced open) and storing your medication in it, then hiding it in your room. This one may be a little better.

Not exactly that size but I would just bury it my closet and no one ever bothered me about it.
To tack onto this it might be wise to keep all meds in a locking medicine cabinet that only you and your DH have the keys to. Not only will that prevent any accidents with your LO, /u/whtbrd, but it will also keep any guests- wanted or unwanted- from shopping around in your medicine cabinet [that way they can't steal any or tamper with any]. If anyone other than you or DH need something out of the cabinet either you or DH will go get it for them.
Poke around on amazon for a bit. It doesn't have to be something like this either, it could be something more like this, this, or even this or this as long as it locks well enough to keep unwanted people out. It doesn't need to be fancy. Don't even bring up the fact your worried that she might tamper with your meds to your DH, just tell him that your locking all the medications in the house- including yours- up so LO can't get to them and show him where the key is going to be kept.
Don't search for safes, those are huge, heavy, thick, and made to withstand actual abuse. You just don't want people accidentally coming across a sex toy. Search lockboxes. They are boxes, with locks. Things like this.
Alternately, /u/bustnuts100's suggestion for a toolbox is a great one. My only concern would be that people might need a tool and reach for it.
I'd say to go with the lockbox, and if asked, just say it has some bullshit in it that you can say is sentimental but no one else would really care about other than you. Photos of your grandparents as kids or something.
The cardboard box from Amazon. I also found a locking CD box (for many CDs). It's wood with metal edges, silver and black. Gosh, I think it's this one!
A locking toolbox could also work. Or purple trunk.
