I've got a toaster that makes them. Toasts the muffins, poaches two eggs, and has a tray to heat two slices of Canadian bacon. Grab two slices of cheese when the toaster pops and I've got two egg McMuffins.

Edit: we use canadian bacon for the meat, which is warmed completely through so it's safe. And round. So perfect!
