Reddit mentions: The best photographs

His name is Maxwell Mackenzie and he takes photographs from his powered parachute flying machine which is essentially a flying lawnmower, but it can be steered by his feet and goes relatively slowly so he can take his photographs. The cannabis field in the cornfield is from a series he did from the sky of his home town in Minnesota. Its funny- he is a serious stickler about being credited and I had to double check that the photo was his. He's horrified he's not attatched to the work but I tried to explain thats the way it is. Right now there aren't a lot of hi-res versions of his work online but maybe I can convince him to share them because there are some great ones everybody might like to check out!

The promotion mentions .38 Special, Eddie Money, and the Tubes, but no Grateful Dead. I was intrigued because like you said, they were definitely in the area around that date (Jerry and Kahn played in SF the next night).

There is a press photo with a description of the show on Amazon with no mention of them too.

I can't find any article or references about after show though. Maybe there were some surprise guests! I love the idea of discovering a lost show.

Dark Sky Map People who have never been to a dark sky area do not think that it is worth the effort to see. People who have gone to a dark sky site are blown away by the amount of stars they can see with their naked eyes. Go on a trip to a dark sky area (dark gray on the map) on a moonless (new moon) night, here is a moon phase calendar.

You are basically saying that images such as this of Nazi atrocities can never be used when arguing about the evils of Nazi Germany and you can only use second hand descriptions. If someone posts an emotionally compelling image of what goes on in slaughterhouses then it is still an honest debate unless the evidence is fabricated or misrepresented.
