Hey, so I have an idea and some advice. First the idea.


MATTERIALS NEEDED:

•Adhesive (I suggest Barge contact cement, though you can also use Spray Adhesive for large areas);

•EVA Foam Mats

•Heat Gun

•2 Cheesy Ball containers (as seen here= https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004CMDUH2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_taa_T5tnDbYTY08P6 )

•Army Green Spray Paint

•Chrome or Matte Gray Spray Paint

•White Primer Spray Paint

•Black Spray Paint

•2 black trash bags

•2 elastic straps

•Clear Coat Spray Paint

•Sandpaper

•Masking Tape (2" or 4" preferred)

•XActo knife

•A saw of some kind or dremel

•1/4" Dowel Rod



INSTRUCTIONS

Cover the two containers in masking tape evenly to make template of how you want it to look. Draw your rectangles, as well as where the grenade pin will cover into the masking tape. Using you XActo knife, score the masking tape carefully on 4 sides. Remove the 4 sections of tape. These are your templates. Take the 2 containers and sand them to give them a rough texture, then coat them in white primer and allow to dry. While they dry, cut EVA Foam mats using your templates as guides to build shell and pin of Grenade Gauntlet. Coat foam in white primer and allow to dry. Go back to the containers now, as they should be dry, and coat them in your choice of grey. Allow to dry. Now return to your EVA Cut-Outs, coat each piece in their appropriate color, allow to dry... I suggest taking a day at this time while everything dries to do something else. Take a shower. Go to the mall. Topple a third world government. Get some froyo. You know, do you.


Next day, the Sun is shining probably, it's time to assemble. Before you can assemble, you will need to disassemble - kind of like that 3rd world government from yesterday. Now take your saw or dremel and cut the bottoms off of both containers. No. Not the end you open to get to the tasty treats that once resided inside this now barren barrel. Cut just inside the bottom so that there is a little bit of a lip. Sand the lip so it isn't jagged anymore. Take a black trash bag and open the sealed end of it. Adhere one end of the trash bag to the inside of the lip and leave it hanging out of the other end. Now take your elastic strip, cut it to the diameter of your forearm. Attach both ends together, add adhesive on the inside of the elastic ring, slip it over the trash bag and into the barrel. Pull the bag taught and adhere it to the inside of the opening of the barrel (where the lid used to be). Now it should hold onto your arm almost like magic. Now apply your adhesives and begin assembly on the outer shell. Coat everything in clear coat and let it dry. You should be done at this point.

I upgraded from the bag to the box. I seriously wouldn't mind living off of Goldfish Crackers and Arizona Iced Tea.

I know what you mean, though I did grow out of most of it thankfully. When I was little I just to rip the ends off of french fries because they were much crunchier than the rest of the fry for example.

Most texture differences like that don't bother me know except for berries that have hard seeds. My archnemesis is strawberries, I love the taste but the little seeds on the outside just ruin it for me. DAMN YOU TINY, CRUNCHY SEEDS! I stopped eating these because they used to have a consistent texture, but suddenly all the ones in the surrounding grocery stores started having little super crunchy nodules inside, do not want.
