I will second the Trtl travel pillow (they sell them in a 2 pack as well!), a headphone splitter or adapter (larger international planes normally just have aux inputs and don't work with Bluetooth but there are adapters on Amazon if they already have Bluetooth headphones they like), noise cancelling headphones (these ones come with an aux to plug in on the plane, I own them and they're great!), compression socks, eye masks, and Global Entry!

I can't speak for the T3, but I can give my experience on the T6's.

I picked up two from a "launch" sale mid-July earlier this year. They were going for $32/each shipped. They looked nice and their marketing wank really worked on me and figured at $32 a pop I don't have much to lose if they turned out to be crap. I ordered two just because they "retailed" for $100 and also because I figured if my experience with cheap overseas products was any indication, one of the two would have an issue of some sort.

For reference, I also own these:

  • COWIN E7
  • Got these as a gift
  • Audio Technica ATH-AD700
  • Purchased many years ago, and are my main headphones for all applications including gaming.

Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised by the T6's. Both units worked perfectly. I was expecting sound quality similar to the $20-$30 Beats clones on Amazon (for which I also own a pair and shortly passed them on to the family PC where audio is not an important point) which often have a sound signature that leaves much to be desired. The T6's are pleasantly clear and bassy. I'm not an audiophile and cannot describe audio properly, however I will say that song vocals on the T6's can get kind of "painful" to listen to at higher volumes. However, I have found that I don't have an issue using Dolby Atmos (on Windows) and it's more of an issue on my OnePlus 6. I don't know what this means, but I've noticed it.

The other drawback of these headphones is that there's no integrated song controls on the actual headset. It's a minor inconvenience but figured I'd point it out.

Battery life is strong, easily passing the 20+ hour mark without having to recharge.

I have done some very rough comparison between my other headphones and Beats owned by another family member and they sound just as good as a $300 beats unit. Of course, that doesn't say much given Beats aren't amazing but it should give a rough idea on the actual sound quality of the T6's.

I don't think I could recommend any wireless headphones for serious gaming, but these are perfect for music listening.

So if you're able to pick up a set of T6's for around ~$50, I would say you would be getting more than what you're paying for.

COWIN E7 are pretty nice. Bose are nicer, but more than $100.
I have updated my QC25 and QC15 to bluetooth with adapters.

Sure! I have these ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019U00D7K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I wanted something that wouldn't be junk (had a pair of $20 ones that died in 3 weeks lol), and had a lot of reviews. Love them so far! And they look pretty hip IMO.

u/ifmacdo · 3 pointsr/EDC

Not OP, but those look like the Cowin E7 noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones I have sitting right next to me.

39$ with code AU2KA5OO.

It's not Bose, but for its price range it's unbeatable. Noise cancelling works wonders for airplane rides and other places with humming noises.

u/RoboNinjaPirate · 2 pointsr/AutisticAdults

I got these on an Amazon Lightning deal for $37. Price right now is 60, and I think that's well worth it for an entry level basic set.

I use the Cowin E7 noise cancelling headphones they’re only like $60, and they work really well! They’re wireless, but also come with a wire if you want to use it!

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/childfree

I have these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019U00D7K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YTHzCbY1V0FCV

I don't wear glasses and I haven't worn earrings in a long time, so I can't exactly speak for that part of your criteria, but they are noise cancelling and wireless, and generally comfortable, plus they have good sound quality.

u/LilkaLyubov · 2 pointsr/Fibromyalgia

I have these. They’re very comfortable, sound quality is really good for the price, and over the ear. My only complaint is sometimes they trigger my POTS temperature issues, but that’s when I use them walking to work and I never have noticed it when I’m not in motion. And lying down with them can be rough if you’re on your side, but I solved that with an airplane pillow.

I’ve used a few brands of over ear headphones and these are the best quality for dollars one o can name.

If your TV has an audio/aux out, try this transceiver I got from Amazon paired with this bt headphones.

I use that combination with an AVR but should work the same as long as you plug the transceiver in audio out.

u/Mr_Curtis_Loew · 2 pointsr/Fishing

They are indeed Cowin e7. Cheapest noise cancelling bluetooth headphones you can get. Love them to bits, really good for what you pay:

Is Deezer Hi-Fi a good value? I wouldn't say I'm much of an audiophile; I enjoy higher quality encodes of music but my ears are happy with 192kbps MP3/OGG or above. I mainly listen to popular, modern music that doesn't have much dynamic range in the first place (designed for compression). I listen to music with these when on the go and these when gaming on PC.

u/morallygreypirate · 1 pointr/gadgets

I just got a pair of Cowins on Amazon and so far I really like them.

Better active noise cancelling than my no name set, too. Nice to not be able to hear it when there's no music playing. Aha

Edit: too early in the morning to spell. Will correct brand when awake

Edit 2: I was right. Cowin's the brand. The pair I have is the [Cowin E7] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019U00D7K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I got them from BoomBox rather than Cowin themselves because I got them through a Lightning Deal on Amazon, but they've got a 4/5 star rating with a little over 4,500 reviews. According to the specs on Amazon, they get about 30 hours of use, though I don't know if this takes the active noise cancelling into account or not. Presumably it does, but I don't know for sure.

Hey! I work in an office with chatty coworkers and I got these cheap ones: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B019U00D7K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They aren't good sound quality or great build or durability but they DO have active noise cancelling which was important to me!

Noise canceling headphones have become a must on flights for me. I picked up a pair of these and they are real lifesavers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019U00D7K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just flew from BKK to hong kong, where 2 indian and 3 chinese families of 6+ each, 2 being parents the rest children under 5, were on board in my area. Put on the headphones and it canceled the noise by more than 50% without music, once music started I couldn't hear a thing.

Looking to purchase my first over ear headphone. I e tried my buddies sony xdr somethings(don’t remember the number maybe it was 700) and those were amazing. So I’d like to keep it under a bill and I’m currently looking at theses

u/jaked222 · 1 pointr/PS4

100% agreed that comfort is priority #1. I just want to be clear. The microphone on any headset should work when using wired mode? So i can get a headset like these

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019U00D7K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and use wired for gaming, and whatever for my other uses?

Thanks for the detailed response btw

Cowin E7 Got the job done. It's actually a lighting deal atm for $39.15. When I wear them at work (software verification), people have to tap me on my shoulder to get my attention.

u/Snuupy · 1 pointr/audiophile

Do any of you guys have a headphone recommendation that has the following:

  • bluetooth
  • can listen to high quality audio while using the microphone for voice coms
  • active noise cancelling
  • can pair with phone for voice calls (doesn't have to be paired with the computer at the same time)

Current pair of bluetooth headphones drops down to the lowest quality if I enable the microphone while on TeamSpeak or any voice coms application, but would otherwise be perfect. Currently have these ones: https://www.amazon.com/Cancelling-Wireless-Bluetooth-Over-ear-Headphones/dp/B019U00D7K

    Budget: $100

If a bluetooth version doesn't exist, I'd be willing to settle for a wired solution. (active noise cancelling, wired headphones)
u/eightbitsmith · 1 pointr/headphones

anyone with any experience with these?

u/TheGremlyn · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I have these TaoTronics in ear and now these Cowin over the ear. Would recommend both.

The Cowins are even on a lightning deal right now!

u/Casiorollo · 1 pointr/HeadphoneAdvice

Wait, no, not the Amazon link. Try this one, the 90 Canadian dollars one. Here's that link. These are noise cancelling and would do an amazing job. Amazon Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones

u/bward2112 · 1 pointr/BuyItForLife

I have these
They have survived over 2 years of wood and metal shop usage, covered in paint, dropped, sawdust everywhere. Still work great, noise cancelling works well. And pretty inexpensive.

Plus 8 hour battery life.

u/Blaise1205 · 1 pointr/headphones

I don't need anything too special. All I really want in a pair of headphones is that they're over the ear, bluetooth, and have active noise cancellation. I've found a few on Amazon that seem pretty good, but I don't want to buy them only to realize when they come in that they're cheaply made and break within a week. I'll post a few links to pages that I've come across, and if somebody could check them out and let me know if they seem like a good deal, that'd be great. Again, I don't care too much about sound quality (obviously must be somewhat decent, but it doesn't have to be anything special.) Pretty much just something I can wear in my room while doing homework and zone out.

Budget - $100ish
Source - Bluetooth (laptop, iPhone, iPad)
Requirements for Isolation - Not too important.
Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes, primarily at home, though.
Preferred Type of Headphone - Full-sized
Preferred tonal balance - I don't mind.
Past headphones - Whichever headphones come with iPhones, lol.
Preferred Music - Almost everything, mainly Hip-Hop and country, though.

Not limited to the following, just some options I've found on Amazon that seem to have everything I'm looking for:

Reposting because I want some more opinions;

Which is the better one;

The MEE Audio Air-fi Matrix 2 (https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B00DOP3NPW)

or the Avantree Audition (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00J0BXPD4/ref=pd_aw_lpo_23_tr_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EEGFT2FH61519RXP84BZ)

or the Cowin E-7 (is it worth it paying the $10 premium for active noise cancelling?? (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019U00D7K/ref=pd_aw_lpo_23_bs_img_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EEGFT2FH61519RXP84BZ&th=1#LUXAddressSelector_1495111143837)

The things that I find most important are comfort, sound leakage, sound quality and build quality. I would like these, especially comfort and build quality, to be taken in account.

u/brettpeirce · 0 pointsr/GooglePixel

I'm just making sure you're not out mowing the grass with $250 monitor headphones... right?

There are rather cheap bluetooth headphones out there... noise canceling earbuds for instance, or a little more for over-the-ear, pseudo-luxury equivalents

I personally haven't plugged anything into my last 3 phones' 3.5 mm ports (and that covers 10 years, as I keep my phones for longer than average), preferring bluetooth, whether attaching to my car or headphones.
