I love this brand from Amazon. They're so soft and true to size.

I have two similar wrap dresses I wear to work and I wear a full slip! In a color other than nude so it looks intentional, usually ivory. Same idea as a tank top but smooth lines. https://www.amazon.com/ICONOFLASH-Womens-Nylon-Seamless-Oyster/dp/B0143L79IM/ref=lp_1045014_1_12?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1497465515&sr=1-12&nodeID=1045014&psd=1&th=1&psc=1

What about a skirt slip? You'd have to do some trying on to figure out how to cover the lace along the waist though. Maybe stitching the skirt in place so it doesn't ride up/down.

I bought mine from Amazon for $12. It's not too long, not too short.

I have this slip in nude and black for dresses that would be too sheer otherwise.

Pettipants. Not necessarily these but ones in this style. I've tried a few brands over the years. I'm a plus sized woman in an unbearably hot and humid climate. They come in different colors and lengths.

I have a bunch of these, I tried spandex/cotton/etc and these are the most wearable.

not sure if this is big enough for you, but I bought this for under my wedding clothes: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B016JPYIMU/

No worries! Slips are made of a slicker material and they are more fitted to the body (but not tight in most cases). There isn’t extra material to get “eaten,” so it also doesn’t allow other things in. It also smooths out the lines of one’s figure and helps the dresses sit “right”. Also hides panty line. I actually wear lace thongs almost exclusively, so I don’t have visible panty line (or VPL) issues, but some prefer other types of panties.

I need some structure underneath to support my dress and don't know if I need a hoop, petticoat, etc. Anyone have some ideas on what type/ style/ size I should go with? I like that hoops will hold a form better and keep fabric off my legs, but worry it will look to unnatural when walking. I am also concerned about the hoops actually showing through.
train petticoat
8 layer tulle
*4 hoop layered

Some ideas above of what I have seen so far.

I was Harley Quinn for Halloween last year and used satin from Joann's. I made a boned bodice with a short circle skirt, both piece had exposed zippers in the back.

If you're looking for a premade petticoat, I have this one, and holy shit is it big haha.

I have the white one too. It's not a huge amount of poof like a pettycoat but enough that the lower part of the dress doesn't just hang straight doen

I looooove pettipants/split slips. They are basically loose, silky shorts, and I always wear them with dresses and skirts. Sometimes I wear them and a slip also, if the skirt is being especially difficult or if it is cold and I want another layer.
