  • An old posh Englishman would drink tea (In the Kitchen)

  • The world watching me read porn in a non-eBook sense would probably be a bit awkward... it's like reading 50 shades on the bus (Books)

  • This could probably be oddly phallic (< $5ish)

  • jQuery pocket reference book. Pretty geeky.

  • I guess Pokemon can be geeky, especially when it's a strategy guide (Books)

  • This would help me be a super awesome baker (and look super cute in my kitchen. Who doesn't have the goal of having a cute kitchen? Also, this is in A girl can dream)

  • Clif bars so I can eat! (In the Kitchen)

    Wooo that was fun!

Ok, so for my whole life I wanted a cordless Dyson vacuum. They’re about $500 but amazing because you literally just charge it and it’s good to go for a couple of days of serious vacuuming. But once I got my Dyson, I realized that it can’t pick up a lot of dirt because it has such a small compartment. Also, it gets stuck on long carpet and doesn’t do well if you have pets.

But, around the same time I got my Dyson, my Mom got the Shark cordless vacuum which runs at about $80. She has rheumatoid arthritis, so vacuuming really hurts her hands. This vacuum was perfect for her and I wish I had gone with it instead of my Dyson. The rollers and dirt compartment are so much better than the Dyson, and it rolls easily on all types of carpet. My mother has three cats and never has to unblock the roller. So this is my definite recommendation.

Things you need on your wishlist: for good baths, for a healthy and satisfyingly sweet snack, and for the best game known to man. Trust me, that last game is one of the most creative games I have ever played.

I summon /u/denygfx because they are a dirty bird who needs to be punished!

The household chore I hate the most is doing laundry because it’s really like three chores in one (sorting, timing, and folding).

MyProtein is probably best. GNC do some decent sales, but unless you can get a sale it's usually overpriced.
I've got some good deals from Amazon in the past but it can be variable.

A very quick look found this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MaxiNutrition-Progain-Mass-Strength-Flapjack/dp/B00284C8PQ/ref=sr_1_6_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1493552821&sr=8-6&keywords=maximuscle+bar

£1.41 per bar. I've had them before - they're pretty good. Also a chocolate/hazlenut flavour.

Protein shakes, avocados (with Tajin seasoning), roma tomatoes (with lemon juice), bananas, sliced green peppers with peanut butter (great nighttime snack), cucumbers, cheese (Havarti is delicious), Chobani greek yogurt, glazed walnuts, Lara bars, Clif builder bars, FruitChia bars, steak (with corn and squash), chicken breasts and wings, ranch style beans, raspberries, eggs, and bacon.

I love the bars man because they're about the same price as a candy bar, and they taste like a candy bar, but they give me amazing clean energy.

I'd like to second plant based protein powders! Bob's Red Mill in Vanilla is the one I use (be careful, they carry whey ones as well). Quinoa, chia, and hemp seeds are considered complete proteins so I replace rice with quinoa and throw both chia and hemp seeds in my smoothies.

If you have a sweet tooth, these are both yummy protein additions!

Green Belly is the way to go. Easy to eat on the go, dense, lightweight, and they taste pretty good too. https://www.amazon.com/Greenbelly-Backpacking-Meals-Ready-Eat/dp/B00MVDVKNA?th=1

I've been snacking on atkin's candy bars. I don't know what the consensus is around here about them but I've continued to lose weight eating one a day pretty much. I've tried 5 kinds of them and they're all good except the cranberry one. I didn't like that one much. This is my favorite: http://www.amazon.com/Atkins-Break-Peanut-Butter-Crisp/dp/B001CH6N9C/ref=pd_sim_hpc_41?ie=UTF8&refRID=0S7SBBZCH1R83238FJ3Q

My daughter is also allergic to dairy! Are you allergic to all dairy or only cows milk?

This popcorn is really great!.I have two bags on top of my fridge right now. I think the cheese version is even better.

Cheese me please.

Edit: these granola bars are really good too. And there are chocolate ones! I add a box of these on to every order I make on amazon. Cookie version.

Hi, I get withdrawal headaches too. I keep these in my purse for emergencies

It's not peppermint bark, but it's the best one I can think of: https://www.amazon.com/ONE-Protein-Chocolate-Sugar-12-Pack/dp/B017TB54N0

I totally understand, I actually have a texture issue with it as well and have been struggling to get it down in hopes it’ll keep me from getting a yeast infection. It’s unpleasant. I believe a probiotic above 1 billion cultures is most effective. The protein powder I use is this one but they have lots of other options on Amazon. You can mix it into other things too, I just find smoothies to be easiest.

Is that one chewy or crunchy? I also literally ate one today, and it was this one: https://www.amazon.com/MET-Rx-Colossal-Super-Cookie-Crunch/dp/B00VQI9ITE?th=1

32 in 410 cals. I've also had this one and hated it: https://www.amazon.com/MET-Rx-Replacement-Chocolate-Cookie-Dough/dp/B00VRALOUM I don't understand the reviewers who say they like the texture - to me it has the texture of starburst candy (think chewy but very hard and sticky on the teeth) and it's not sweet enough to be justifiably called cookie dough - it's got this blandness to it. Basically so far from the chocolate crunch that I can't believe it's from the same company.

The chocolate brownie is also very good. It's chewy, but in a way that's only slightly chewier than a real brownie, not like a giant stale starburst candy like the cookie dough bar. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X9N1MKW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

I always did a shake after each workout, and often at least one other during the day (sometimes only half of what the post-workout shake was). On those days when I didn't get up early enough to scramble some eggs, I'd do a shake for breakfast since I could throw it together as I was running out the door. Also, using chocolate milk or whole milk instead of skim/lowfat milk or water to make the shakes will help get more calories.

The Met-Rx Big 100 bars are a favorite of mine, and I'd stay away from Clif bars (I'm not a fan of soy whatsoever).

Probars. Best tasting food bars I have found, organic, and close to 400 calories in a small bar. Doesn't matter for you, but they are edible even when below freezing.
http://www.amazon.com/ProBar-Ultimate-Pack-bars-33-00/dp/B0017SLC06/ref=sr_1_11?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1319939789&sr=1-11

I ate 2 of these on my marathon training and during the subsequent race and enjoyed them because they were easy to eat.

I've had crunchy granola bars and if my mouth is dry they can be a pain to choke down. Skittles are pretty good for me sometimes but they can be hard when it's cold out and sticky when it's hot.

I find that every 8 miles / 1 hour I'll start to get grouchy and 100+ calorie snack helps my mood as much as my body.
