Jumping on the top post to say I've found tons of floral cardigans on Amazon, chic wish, Etsy and seriously just online in general. I wear floral a lot, it's not that hard to find something that will work.

Honestly, it sounds like op is being difficult and picky. Pick something, anything, that fits what the bride asks for and won't ruin her day. Don't be that person, it's not that hard.

I bought these just because I have two black Loubs and wanted a nude pair. I have the Pigalles and lady peep. Have not tried the Bianca but I'm hoping they are true to size because I bought a seven.

I could use some help with search terms. I want a blazer/jacket like this in black or camel. The key factor is that the collar always stays up. I've tried notched collar, popped collar, etc. Any ideas?

I think a white blazer would look nice. It will match almost any dress and you could wear it in the future (office/church/graduation etc.). It doesn't even have to be an expensive one, just something like this for ~$30.

These dresses looking like they’d be a good way of bringing the sucking, dreaded abyss to your work wardrobe. This one is more subtle, this one is more dramatic. You could wear this sweater on top, or if cardigans and jackets are more to your taste (which judging by your princely Pinterest boards, I’d guess they are), this jacket.

Or try this dress to emulate the enveloping depth of space and how there is no escape.

Since you like loafers, this d’orsay style would be a good pick— it comes in a dense rhinestone covering that’s undeniably sparkly, but not in a too in your face kind of way.

This one doesn't have fantastic reviews, but I think a crepe cloak would look stunning. There's also this expensive and long version on Etsy.

If you want to look older and more professional then you should probably change the way you dress, perhaps a suit like this or this instead. By the way are those your dogs and if so what are their names?

I guess I might recommend a blazer then. If that feels too formal and not that comfortable, try a ponte or knit blazer like this or this
