Carrying Case for Nintendo 2DS Console - Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EZIXFJG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aVmYCb36WZE7R

iGadgitz Blue Neoprene Sleeve Protective Travel Pouch Carry Case Cover for Nintendo 2DS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HH96R8Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZVmYCbE0Y1JKT

The official is much more expensive but most people I know have this to protect the system. If you are looking for a platform we then the best are Donkey Kong, Super Mario 3D World, Cave Story, Shovel Knight and Super Mario Maker. My favorite of them all was problems 3D world or Mario Maker but it depends on your style. Watch some YouTube videos to find out what you like. Also if you like Metroidvania type platformers Metorid Samus Returns is good and so are the Virtual Console Castlevania games but you won’t be able to play the snes ones with a normal 2ds.

I like these best because they remind me of the scene in Men In Tights where Robin accepts Rottingham's challenge to a duel by hitting him round the face with the glove like this :D

This scene!

I like any surprise off my wish list, I'm not fond of choosing something specific.. though this would be practical :)

anyway, I love Kevin! Whoop! Cool contest idea by the way :)

u/angierhafai · 1 pointr/Surface

I'm also a college student and my suggestion would be a usb 3.0 ethernet adapter. I got one that was also a hub which is convienient.

However, you asked about a case and a mouse so on to those.

For a case, I have few suggestions as it is usually a personal choice other than to find something in your price range that you like. I personally got this one and removed the loop which was useless to me but it is kind of falling apart from repeated opening and closing. If you don't have the keyboard and didn't buy the pen loop, I'd suggest something that can hold onto the pen.

As for a mouse, I personally prefer wired but my suggestion would be a Bluetooth mouse as Bluetooth will be on anyways to communicate with the purple button of the pen unless you turn it off. Honestly, unless you're looking for something special, any mouse with 4 stars or more would work. While your best prices for a mouse will always be online, you may want to go to a brick 'n' mortar and check a few out before buying because with smaller mice how they feel in your hand would probably vary a lot. As for an actual suggestion, the Logitech M325 is a good mouse. I had one before I went back to wired mice that lasted two years. Solid build, decent battery life, has a holder for the receiver, but not Bluetooth. However, this is the only cheap wireless mouse that I have experience with that I would also recommend.

Haha good call on the shipping sleeve as a temporary solution. I saw that bit about the 11" fitting in the 10.5" leather sleeve with the folio cover as well.

I'm interested in something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Compatible-MacBook-Surface-Release/dp/B016JOD8EA

Do you have an 11" with the Apple Smart Keyboard? If so, would you mind measuring the thickness of it? I don't have either in hand yet so I'm trying to compare the size to the other devices listed. I also sent the seller a message to check. Thanks!

u/campl0 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I find it funny people are still recommending you cases that aren't fitting your criteria. I am a very minimalist and was not a fan of all the cases that came out. Someone on here posted their case and I loved it. It was just a neoprene sleeve that fit the switch with joycons attached. Best of all it was cheap. Check it out here I can post a photo of mine in a little while. I just carry my switch and the netted pouch fits a usb cable, thin game holder(4 games), and a usb charger (iphone). Best thing is all that stuff is optional.

u/Renigami · 2 pointsr/Surface

Unfortunately there are not any I can personally give recommendations on.

This is after looking myself in the past online at Amazon when I looked at screen protectors. I cannot give one now by that regard as any of them interrupt how I usually handle my Surface Pro 2, both in PC processing and how I handle touch, pen, keyboard, and cursor inputs.

Most if not all of them prevent from really using the kickstand in stability. Most of them prevent the use of a Power Cover.

What r/P_Devil mentioned is right. Most if not all folio cases are like cushions that press against the back of the Surface Pro 2, thus blocking the vents. It is no different than a laptop on a blanketed lap.

Sneezing on Amazon, this is the best I can find if I were to find one myself.

Another one on Amazon that follows the same folio design, but the backing seems more solid to not squish against the openings.

But looking close up at both of them (not as apparent in the second link and image) the material indeed squishes up against the opening. This combined with the insulating properties will add to some performance heat over time and it is not how I would use my Surface Pro 2 at times. Even fan-less designs will be susceptible to insulating folio cases.

From a durability aspect, I think the Surface Pro 2 with a skin instead will facilitate what a folio case does with the Type Cover (or if you can get a Power Cover working once more from sitting too long in a box). Most folio cases only offer one additional angle that is not all much better than the second angle the kickstand provides.

I personally put my knees between the kickstand and Surface while sitting at times. Thus, no folio case can give what I need. The folio case protects, but the durability of the Surface Pro 2's chassis is good enough if one handles it like a more mobile laptop in closing and stowing in a bag. This is a paradigm that aftermarket iPad cases and tablet cases just cannot transfer over in relation and a reason why I appreciate the Surface Pro's overall inclusive design of the Type/Power Covers over something like the iPad Pro.

u/chrismarkbernard · 1 pointr/Surface

Incipio makes some great cases that work perfectly for SP3 and SP4. Excellent value for the money.

Always set your Surface down on the keyboard side, never the kickstand side if you want to avoid scratches.

I got This knockoff

While the quality is not as good as the apple leather one, for 24$ instead of 130$, I feel like it was worth it.

I don't have a keyboard, but I'm pretty sure it would fit with a keyboard

u/mostwantedkiss · 1 pointr/Surface

I have a S-GO its perfect without a case. Tried a case from amazon it makes the GO lose its charm and neat design (bulky). I do have the extended warranty for my device.

Brought a $12 sleeve for my GO for travelling and its perfect. You can also keep some cables and adapters in the side pocket.

I bought one of these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Google-Asus-Nexus-Sleeve-Case/dp/B008GR2MMS/ref=tsm_1_tp_un_it and I'm pretty happy with it. £4 and it fits perfectly, even with a stylus/pen in there too.

I've used this one for a couple of months and really like it. You can charge your PB while it is in the case by unzipping slightly. Quality is better than I expected and has some actual padding for protection.

I also have my free pen loop attached to the side of my screen and it fits nicely in the case with the pen attached to the side but isn't too big as to feel like the PB swims around inside of it.

u/donm527 · 2 pointsr/ipad

I bought this for when I stuff my pro in the bag or travel. Haven’t had a chance to use it outside yet but testing it out it feels like a hard shell and feel it should protect my iPad just fine.

I've been looking at some on Amazon but haven't pulled the trigger on any yet. The Amazon Basics model seems like it will be a little snug based on the dimensions, but it is hard to argue with that price.

edit: Actually, I went ahead and ordered this sleeve. I like the design of a flap vs a zipper, and it's only $4 so I don't mind taking a chance. The dimensions seem like it will be fine with the keyboard.

I just got this one off amazon a week ago. I like it so far. The zippered pouch can easily fit the pen and charger.

u/trexflyer02 · 1 pointr/Surface

I have this one. It fits really nice with my SP4/Type Cover, and has a zipper pocket for cables or the Pen.

Looks like it's about the same price on Amazon.ca as well?

u/mad_bramble · 3 pointsr/ipad

If you already have cases you like, Amazon & Staples sell these little Apple Pencil cases that can be attached to almost any case. I believe one brand is called Moko and I think Amazon also sells their own version under the 'Basics' brand.

Something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Apple-Pencil-Holder-Adapter-Pocket/dp/B01FD77DFO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1487938442&sr=8-4&keywords=apple+pencil+case

u/wbhite · 6 pointsr/Surface

I bought this one for my SP3 (now a SP4) and it works great. I slip the pen in one of the corners and only take it out when needed. It was a bit tight when I first got it but it's since stretched out and holds everything nicely.

u/Rastuasi · 1 pointr/PixelBook

I use the Bellroy clip and this sleeve, tis perfect!

u/daveonline123 · 2 pointsr/Nexus7

I have this case and it's great. The nexus 7 2013 fits snugly and has room on all sides so it won't rub. The pocket is handy for cables and a stand. For £8 it's a bargain. No idea how long it will last, but it seems well made.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/GreatShield-Protective-Sleeve-8-0-inch-Tablet/dp/B009WAB256/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1377300657&sr=8-4&keywords=greatshield

u/filchermcurr · 1 pointr/ipad

While it's not exactly a case, I just use a plain old sleeve for transportation/storage. I'm a fan!

It's this one if anybody is interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003GR0WGQ/

u/orlandokmusic · 1 pointr/Surface

I got one of these for my surface book to take to school and back.. I just got a larger size. It works great.

u/Shiny_Callahan · 2 pointsr/notebooks

That is a really good idea, I actually found something on Amazon that is similar.

u/smvanaken · 5 pointsr/iPadPro

I use this as an always on back protector;

And then slip it in this when not in use;
http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8N275ttBKW-APL-Sleeve-Apple-Black/dp/B003GR0WGQ/

Working good for me.

I've had it for two years now no issues with the velcro on the case. The string thing that goes around the battery case is the only thing close to breaking but that's a $2 fix if that. It also has a pocket on the inside for you to put the pen and any small accesories like a usb

u/bigliketexas · 2 pointsr/Nexus9

Got this one super cheap, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005D1R07M/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_n5DEub16A4KHQ.

I'm hoping it's large enough to fit the N9 and the magnetic folding case that won't ever be released. :(

We have this case:

This is protective enough and fits inside backpacks etc. But not sure if it can protect against large drops.

The only accessory I bought was a [case] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009WAB256) so I could throw my PW in my backpage/suitcase without worrying about damage. Everything else you mentioned seems like a waste of money IMHO.

I also have the one linked below (it's now under $6). It fits the switch with joycons attached and the mesh pocket can hold earphones or something small.

You can buy them right now on Amazon. The black one seems to be out of stock, but the coloured ones are available.

I ordered mine from a danish retailer, but something went wrong with the delivery, which is why I'm still waiting for it.
