I didn't think that $33m to $165m per container is anywhere near a reasonable figure so I looked at some numbers.

A 40' shipping container has around 2500 cubic feet of storage space.
A box of 64 Dorito grab bags (most expensive by weight due to packaging) supposedly retails for $56.96.
A conservative estimate of the size of one of these boxes is 4 cubic feet. That means 625 of these boxes of Dorito bags could fit in the container assuming there was no room left over. At $56.96 per box, the contents of the container would be valued at $35,600.

What the heck does that even mean? Unless... here in America, if the product is made in a facility where other products with egg, milk and dairy are used, they print a message saying "may contain trace amounts of eggs, milk, etc." This means they're covering their ass in case of cross-contamination.

Definitely read the labels... lots of things are "accidentally" vegan and won't actually have the word vegan printed on the package.

Did it annihilate your stomach as it did me? My entire body was sweating with my face just leaking. Still, that was a walk in the park compared to what it did to my stomach. That night, I went home and wrote a detailed extensive review on Amazon that night (the top one).

I had no idea the review would blow up like it did. I think I also reached out to Paqui stating how many people want it back. I'm guessing they stopped making it because it is, in fact, pretty dangerous. It may have been seen by them as a seriously legal liability.

Only seen them at two different B&M shops in my metro area, both nearly an hour from work or home, so I order on amazon to get my fix. Also, about a year ago I ran across some fantastic scorpion kettle chips about at a local farmer's market, but sadly I haven't been able to find them since.
