How do you... jewelry? I've never pierced my ears, never wear bracelets or necklaces, and I even leave off my wedding ring most days because I get tired of compulsively fidgeting with it.

I'm 22, near graduation, about to start a career in tech. I wear minimal make up and dress pretty casually.

So, where's a good, non-intimidating place to start with jewelry? So far, stuff like this is most appealing to me.

They come in a pack of six, in different sizes so you can find a good fit. It's an add-on item but it's less than $5. Just got mine after a whole debacle of buying several individual ones that didn't fit, and I'm very happy.

You want the size 13 ring. The Kong is 22mm in diameter, and a size 13 is 22.2mm. A little glue gets them to fit great.

It ended up being on the cheaper side, but I looked long and hard for something I thought would suit both me and my ring and this was just perfect.

I think you should just do what you feel is right for you. I wear jewelry but I hate rings, so I had similar thoughts as you. My wedding band and engagement ring are all I wear 99.9% of the time as far as rings go. If you still feel like you "should" have a wedding band, you could always get a simple, cheap ring (which is what I did) and have it fused to your engagement ring (if the style works). That way it is just "one" ring. That is what I plan to do. I considered a wedding band like this and ordered a 1.5mm wide cubic zirconia band to try out and was really disappointed. The look, the size, the lack of sparkle - just everything was lackluster. Here is the one I tried if you want to do a similar exercise.

I think the design is really very pretty, and I tend to love thin delicate bands, but I would caution you that the baguette ring might not have the look you’re hoping for. An east-west elongated emerald cut band might give you more facets with similar dimensions.
