There are hundreds of awesome picture books surrounding dinos as well. Dino atlases and storybooks would be a great place to start. Having someone read with him can help expand his vocabulary and place names to pictures! If not pics are still cool enough. Does he have a favourite dinosaur?

I follow my bedtime routine:

1. Nutrition is the most important part - it is very important we do not eat anything with sugar and have a very light dinner. I only drink water, as even tea can have caffeine in it.
   
2. Make sure my room isn't too hot, too stuffy, or too bright. Bedrooms that are quiet, dark and cool are optimal for a good night’s rest. I rest better in cooler places.
   
3. Stick to the same things every night - Excercise, a bath, pajamas, brushing teeth and a few pages from a book. I make sure to stick to it consistently so that my body knows what to expect.
   
4. During the day I do exercise as much as possible - biking, running, playing etc. At least one hour before bedtime.
   
5. I use a weighted blanket every night and it helps me relax and go the sleep faster.
   
   I got my favorite weighted blanket from a seller in Amazon for only around $65. Super worth it and the quality is amazing! I also bought one for my daughter and we can now sleep 8hrs straight and wake up feeling well rested and energized.
   
   I really hope this helps and that it works for you too!

the short answer is yes, but it's best to test it.

I have one for my daughter both with a soft minky cover, both them from amazon from here( quality seemed good from reviews and it really was).

After 6 months of using it, I can say that she never goes to bed without it and she absolutely loves it.

What to look out for:

- be careful how you wash it, machine wash only the cover, the Weighted blanket wash by hand

- if the children do not stand the blanket, do not force it on them ( some love it but some find it too heavy)

- the weighted blanket for children should be roughly around 10% of your kid's body weight

- the weighted blanket should cover the size of the person and not the size of the bed

I have bought one for me also and I find I sleep way better with it ( no autism here, just people enjoying great sleep)

It just so happened that a lot of Eureka stuff was on sale at the time I was shopping, so I look like something of a fanboy.

Your room is so lovey an neutral! You have a lovely opportunity to go with pretty much any color you would like :) personally, I would go for a pale yellow or pastel pink to soften the strong geometric vibe you have going on. Rilakkuma (owned by San-X), is basically like Hello Kitty (owned by rival company Sanrio), but is pretty famous and have had small mash-ups, but not quite so famous as to have mash ups with Bleach and Sailor Moon just yet (like the mash-ups with TokiDoki and One Piece that Kitty has done). Basically, you got your three homeboys: Rilakkuma, the light brown relaxing bear, Korilakkuma, the white smaller bear, and Kiirotori, the yellow bird. If anything, the San-X English website offers lots of places that sell official Rilakkuma & Co. goods. If you buy on eBay, make sure the seller is from Japan and has a very good history of selling Rilakkuma goods. You can also find goods in stores that sell Japanese goods in NY or CA like Kinokuniya & some independently owned Sanrio stores (again, gotta check the quality). Online stores sell Rilakkuma goods as well, but even Amazon messes up and has fake stuff, like this whack looking pillow. Strapya, buyrilakkuma, and ncsx sometimes sells Rilakkuma goods, too.

I was once convinced to go "back roading" with some friends from work. We all piled in a car and drove around the country just being young! I thought it was weird, but ended up being a great night! Not that crazy, but definitely different.

April 2018 babies means year of the dog on the Chinese astrology calendar, so I've been looking for the perfect dog stuffed toy to give to the kinder egg surprise when they're old enough. Yesterday, my order of this guy came in. It is so soft and squishy! I'm going to keep it in the bed with me and my husband until the baby is old enough, so that it'll hopefully smell like us and help them sleep.
