But yeah, honestly don’t get ones that are only 2,000mAh, get one with at least 5,000mAh. The bigger the battery, the better (to however much you can afford). Honestly, my RUNSY case still works like a charm, but I’ve had an issue with my first one. If you have one that has something wrong with it, shoot them an email and they’ll send you another one.... so long as it’s reasonable (saying something like “I wanted a darker black colour” wouldn’t be sufficient enough).

But yeah, using a battery pack definitely has more benefits than just being able to charge your device when you need it... like it can actually extend your battery lifespan.

I wonder... if I kept it at 100% for two years, you think Apple would want to buy it back, kind of like when a vehicle hits 1,000,000km?

I suppose it is worth pointing out that I have NOTHING to do with this company. I am just very impressed by my battery life with this thing because it was really bad with the stock battery.

Edit: It is worth pointing out that this will NOT work with the stock case. The battery comes with a case that is decent. It's not great and it's not awful. It's basically just good enough to pass muster. I view this thing as 100% worth it though.

I'm considering getting a case with an extra battery, specifically the PhoneSuit Elite. Pricey, but I think in the long run it will be worth it, considering it should about double the life of your phone, which seems like it would be useful in everyday occasions.

Just so we're clear. I have this model.

The squared corner model was not available when I received the Note 9.

I don't like how the top of the case (around the camera) tapers to a point. While it makes it more comfortable for pocket carry, it is also harder to grasp if you pocket it "camera first."

This especially applies when you're using a pouch. Speaking of pouches. It's way too bulky to fit into a condor pouch.

Lastly. It gets warm when it's doing it's job. I don't know how this affects the phone's performance.

I have the Z2 Force with the Incipio battery pack with wireless charging (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LBGYTNU/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me). I can easily go two days without charging. Charging either via the type-c cable or wirelessly will always charge the phone's battery first and then the battery pack. This one will charge the battery pack wirelessly if it is removed from the phone first and placed on a charging pad.

The pack can be configured one of two ways: keep the phone charged at 100%, or at 80% to be more battery efficient and conservative.

I keep mine at the 80% since it is better for the life of the battery. If I charge my phone above 80%, it's battery will be used solely until it reaches 80%, then the battery pack kicks in too keep it at 80% until the pack dies.

It’s not perfect and sometimes I’ve had to reboot the phone to get it to except the charging, but for the price it’s definitely a lot better than the brand name Mophie one’s Which can be quite pricey.

Get a third party lightning case. They work great.

I'm using this and it's great so far. Lots more battery power and it barely makes the phone any bigger.

Biggest downside is the phone losing it's water resistance. Not to worried about it.

EDIT: In the end I'm really just waiting on Mophie to make S5 Juice Pack because I absolutely loved it on my S3 and I'd prefer to have the option to take the case off.

I have the zero lemon case I use it at work all the time. Everyone laughs at how thick it is.

Once my battery goes out, I'm going to look at options like this or an extended replacement internal battery. Even if that means breaking the seal and losing the water protection.

The extra bulk won't bother me. Beats having a fugly camera slapped into the middle of my screen

At a minimum I'll have it the next three years. Hoping for possibly five. No sense in shelling out $1k every two years for minimal upgrades. I don't do that for laptops. I've gone Galaxy S > Galaxy S4 > Galaxy S9+ thus far.
