(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best cigarette accessories

I have this vaporizer and absolutely love it. I started smoking cannabis when i turned 25, and I'm now 30 so it's all relatively new to me as well.

This is the third vaporizer I've owned and without a doubt the best one. My previous two were "Da Buddha" and the original "Pax". The pax is a phenomenally portable vaporizer and easily fits in your pocket but just didn't hit hard enough for my liking. "Da Buddha" hit well but was a bit finicky as far as the set up goes. The "Plenty" the one I linked above is super simple to use and is manufactured by a quality company in germany.

Simply grind your herb, put said herb in chamber, plug in, turn on, and inhale once the little "oven light" turns off. My wife and I usually pass it back and forth 5-6 times per session and we get 3 sessions per filled oven. Cleaning is as simple as taking a few pieces apart and rinsing with alcohol.

I chose this particular vape after reading several pages and pages of review lists. One review that sold me on it and I agree with said "If you are a daily smoker that's worried a vape won't hit hard enough, this is the vape for you." It's vapor so it's far less harsh than smoking from a pipe or bong and while I no longer have a nasty cough throughout the day, it WILL still make me cough while vaping.

All that being said I still smoke from a pipe if I'm walking out the door and don't want to wait the 3 minutes for the plenty to heat up, or I use THIS AWESOME DUGOUT which stashes its own mini lighter (I especially use this when golfing or driving), and lastly, for parties and social gatherings and watching sunsets i enjoy a nice pre-rolled cone, it's just easier than rolling a joint AND it has the little filter built-in for easier passing and smoking without burning ones lips.

My in-laws switched to cannabis a few years ago because my FIL was drinking way too much and it was taking a toll on his body. He'd been using cheap, no-name vapes and buying replacements when they broke. I finally convinced him to get a Plenty like mine because it has a three year warranty and this one will last longer than all the cheap ones he keeps buying.

You'll want to curve the screen with your hands or a pen or something so the curve kinda matches the bowl in the pipe. After one or two bowl's worth it'll stick in place on it's own (because pipe resin.)

Believe me, you can find all of these items local to you at pretty similar prices even if you're in a pretty conservative area.


Edit: If you've never smoked anything before, i was in the same boat. Whether using a joint or a pipe, the idea is to draw the smoke into your mouth (like drinking from a straw) then breath in through your mouth to carry the smoke into your lungs. You will cough, it will burn, it's normal and you're fine. take two small puffs and then wait at least 10 minutes before deciding if you want more. You'll probably get tingles in your chest and you might get the sensation of your heart racing - this is also normal and nothing to worry about.

   While they are not tactical opinels are really nice and are near $10 and come in lots of sizes.

For the money the zebra is excellent, the bullet pen is nice but there is a tutorial on how to mode the zebra to take space pen refills which is the best of both.
   
4. I know you got the wave but I suggest getting a small mt like a sak or a leatherman ps4 or micra. The victorinox classic sd is good and about $10
   
   Also with all the stuff you want to carry, It might be wise to invest in a maxpediton micro pocket organizer which is about $15

I like to branch out and try new ones when I can find them, fun lil experiments I think lol. And idk if the brand in the post is Cyclone, but their clear cones are pretty sweet I recommend those. Also, if you haven’t tried them: Hemp wraps. It’s a blunt wrap made of hemp instead of tobacco. Depending on the brand, they can be easier or more difficult to roll with and some taste amazing. I have some that smell and taste like Fruit Stripe gum.

In America it's also called a roach, but only once it has been smoked all the way down and has ash on the end. We smoke spliffs as well haha

Everyone in my densely pot-ulated area agrees that rolling up a piece of paper/cardboard does not constitute as a "filter," due to the fact that it doesn't really filter anything at all.

edit2: My buddies and I bought a box these along with this so we can smoke pretty much anywhere in public as long as no one catches the smell. Saved us on multiple occasions and works VERY quickly when used properly. It's worth the money if you're into that kind of thing. The cotton filters don't really do anything except for make the smoke a little less harsh, and definitely still get you high.

I recently stopped buying the prerolled craft Js from the place I have my plants with due to a big price change. I'm a fan of those infused joints (though it seems like they just infuse the paper?) but I have had similar results using the Cone Filler from Raw.

It works like one of those cigarette fillers but it has a tube shaped for a cone. Got it on Amazon with a pack of cones and have put about 150 cones through it since Feb with only a slight learning curve.

I can make them as strong I desire if I "infuse" them myself with a few dots on the outside from a 16 buck Pig and Whistle distillate syringe.

Go ahead and pick yourself up a pack of cones. Cyclones blueberry are my favorite. Amazon They're a clear paper. I think it's cellulose or something like that. If you want some better cones(Unflavored), try out the raw cones. Very nice. You can purchase them up to a foot long, too.

I also only smoke herb, and upgraded from the PAX 2 to the PAX 3 when it came out. I find that the pre-sets that you access on the phone app are amazing - I never have to adjust the temperature. I set it to "Efficiency mode" and always get perfect, smooth hits. My friend who still uses a PAX 2 is always having to switch from low, to medium, to high - and I don't have to do a damn thing. :)

Hey, there's probably a lot more experienced than me! But what I use is:

I have a grinder which I bought from a market stall, I'm from the UK so I paid £2 only. (It's probably about the size of a quarter, I'm guessing, as it's only small.
I use RAW papers (the original ones) or Big Blue Rizla brand.
I buy a little booklet of card which I use as filters/roach
As for weed, for one person, Id break up about a bud roughly the size a large penny, and fill the grinder until it's roughly to the top (as it's only a small grinder it doesn't make it too much)
I roll my joints as a cone.

One of the best tips I had was to buy some tobacco, and some small papers and try rolling some roll up cigarettes, I practice a couple times and eventually got it!

You can just fill it up and cut it down a little! Very handy for somebody just beginning! :)

I have not tried the unfiltered tubes, I would suggest just getting the regular papers and rolling them by hand the old fashioned way or with this, if you really want unfiltered smokes. More Info. But if you do want the unfiltered tubes, I also could only find the Athey tubes. Some sites to get them are Amazon-perbox, Amazon-5boxes,Bec's,Loose Tobacco. If you do get the Athey tubes, you will need an injector type machine. I use the Mikromatic. I know the tobacco store I regular will order stuff for me if I ask. Try going in and asking them to order them for you. They might just do it, and you can save on shipping and the risk is nonexistent.

The prerolled are really small and the others can be annoying to roll. The perforated ones allow you to make them whatever size you want. The prerolled are really only good for cone Jays imo.

I roll my own "Lucky Strikes" with a TOM so I don't smoke $9 worth of cigarettes every day, and I think I've come pretty close.
