Hey Judo, without sounding like a shill; I would go to r/abrathatfits. They have a nifty calculator that is super helpful in determining your size. I thought I was a 36 C for years...turns out I'm actually a 30F (sister size is 32E). It's honestly amazing how different and how much more comfortable a properly fitted bra is. As far as shopping options go, maybe you could try a traditional bra from Amazon if you like that silhouette? They can definitely be pricy but relatively easy returns. Her Room is good when they have a sale but I've heard returns aren't always easy so ymmv. But if sports bras are the way you wanna go, there is a really good crossover maternity bra on Amazon that you may wanna check out. I'm not pregnant or nursing but I love it because it's super comfy. There is an organic cotton/spandex variant (fits B-G cups). But if that ends up not being in your size range they also have a French Terry variant (fits B-I cups) that comes in a racer back style or a scoop back style. Hope this novella may help and good luck bra shopping!

Hey! Congrats on the birth of your son! It must be insane with the hormones, nursing, and not feeling comfortable in your underthings.

Amazon has a lot of nursing bras in your size, with the clips for nursing easily and probably better coverage than you're getting now with the 38B!!

Here's a few examples:

Elomi Smoothing Underwire

Anita Summer T-Shirt

Freya Pure Underwire

I know they seem really expensive, but you will feel SO much better with a well-fitting bra (less pain/soreness, more positive feelings about nursing, better body image, clothes fit better). If you have Amazon Prime you can get free 2-day shipping and free returns to try a lot of stuff on. Student Amazon Prime is really affordable.

Your breasts will stabilise around the 4th month mark, until then you can expect size fluctuations as your supply changes with your baby's needs.

It is normal that you still need band extenders when you are 2 weeks post-partum, your ribcage will need time to shrink back. It might even be that your ribcage won't ever go back to your pre-pregnancy size.

Additionally you have less than two inches difference between your tight and loose underbust, this indicates that you prefer a wider band. If your breasts were smaller I would definitely recommend sizing up to a 34 band with your underbust measurements, but at your size plus your breasts heavy with milk it might be better to stick to a 32. Your choice what feels more comfortable to you.

You can easily convert bras into nursing bras with a small alteration that only takes the same level of skill as sewing on a button. Out of the bras you bought, Envy, Clara and Andorra are great for this bc of their stretch lace.

If you want a nursing bra to sleep in, I would recommend the Bravado Essential Embrace in US 34 J/K or the Royce Blossom in 34 G/GG/H.

Motherhood makes a few nice nursing tops. If you have the $$$ to spend, the company Seraphine has amazing nursing clothes. Best peice of advice I can give... get 2-4 very cheep nursing bras like this....

Soft French Terry Nursing Sleep Bra for Maternity / Breastfeeding (Medium-Busty, Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J27DGMU/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_4hgBybFBDCJFA

Give your body about 2-3 months to adjust, then try something with more structure. Your boobs are going to change a lot, so don't spend money on expensive nursing bras without letting everything settle frist. Also, I would stock up on bamboobies. God they are so soft and don't rip your nipples apart when you're cracked and bleeding the first couple of weeks. Love their nipple cream too.

u/marbleavengers · 1 pointr/InfertilityBabies

My sister recommended these and they are incredible. Way cheaper too than the bravado and other fancy brand name ones but surprisingly great. I've had mine for 7+ months and wash them after every wear, and they've held up beautifully -- I'm actually shocked at the quality. Their sizing is also pretty intuitive and forgiving. I may never go back to regular bras.

u/babycamelopard · 10 pointsr/bigboobproblems

I’m 10 months postpartum and a 30G and I sooo feel you. That said, here are the two bras that worked for me!

Wacoal Women's Maternity Contour... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WWHJTG3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Freya Women's Pure Uw Moulded... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JUPMJPA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I also recommend this wraparound bra for pumping (it goes over any existing bra or just over your boobs and is super adjustable) instead of a dedicated pumping bra, if you end up doing that:

Simple Wishes Signature Hands... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00295MQLU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Good luck and congrats on your baby!!

u/ohhbree · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

Same exact stats as you starting out and I feel exactly the same! I’m 21w and have been pretty active and have still managed to gain 20lbs at this point. Someone told me my face looked thinner, but my chest is huge, like 34I huge...
I’m sure you don’t look as bad at you think! You’re just used to looking different. Just try to keep your head up and stay as active as you can(easier said than done I know!). You’re growing a tiny human and you’ll lose it afterward!

Edit:
Ladies try these, they are decently supportive, comfy, and fit large breasts (34I and able to fit a medium): Bravado Designs Womens' Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra - Butterscotch - Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000YQJD3U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_BNlKAb6TFZX8M

u/lumixel · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

Try Anita nursing bras then, they are underwired real supportive bras. This one is nonpadded but still supportive and should fit your shape. http://www.amazon.com/Anita-Maternity-Microfiber-Nursing-5068/dp/B0011ZX6JU/ref=cts_ap_1_fbt I have nursed several kids myself and it is the best one I ever used. :) I kept wearing it after I was done nursing because it was just a good bra, until the elastic got old and stopped working.

u/Luca_overthemoon · 0 pointsr/BabyBumps

I highly recommend Anita Maternity/Nursing bras from Amazon. You'll have to measure yourself or have your SO help and use the bra size calculator on /r/abrathatfits but I had no trouble finding a style and size I liked (I was in a 32G when my milk came in PP) and Amazon was FANTASTIC about returns/exchanges, and it only took 2 days to get my exchange, so there was no frustrating delays. The first bra I purchased linked here fit perfectly!

Maybe it's worth a shot. :)

u/FoxyLoxy56 · 1 pointr/June2019Bumpers

I like these they apparently don’t have the exact brand I got last time but this style is pretty comfy. I got xl so I’d be sure they’d fit pp and they worked great. I also ended up using the band extenders because of my ribs separating.

u/windbella · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

26 bands are extremely difficult to find and very expensive. I would go for 28 bands.

I’m a 26FF/G (ish, I measured a while ago). I haven’t been wearing bras lately but my two favorites are the Freya deco moulded softcup bra in 28F or FF (for more or less cleavage haha) and the Kindred Bravely French terry nursing bra (it’s just like a really soft sports bra but without a ton of support, very natural looking).

Weekend was good -- we are mostly prepped for the big kitchen reno to start on Wednesday! My phone legit died yesterday -- I had to print directions to a super bowl party (still got lost) and MrC worked on it for a few hours but it's dunzo. So another one ordered from Amazon.

Shout-out to whoever recommended these maternity bras on amazon! They arrived in time for me to be in comfort all day yesterday. Hooray! I was a 32DD before pregnancy, the medium works (though I may need to go up to a large by the time I'm done cooking).

u/lilianril · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I used a bravado nursing bra from target. It was OK but not great. I eventually shrunk enough that I needed a smaller size and ordered this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000YQJD3U. It was fantastic. Much better support and a lower cut neckline so I could wear more tops with it. I didn't have much luck with an underwire bra.
I also used the disposable lansinoh nursing pads and liked them, but only needed them a few months.

u/UnicornToots · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

> Need nursing bras, right? Like a must have?

It definitely makes things easier. I had two. But, I found nursing camisoles/tanks and nursing sports bras to be much easier.

> Do you bring one to hospital?

I wore a nursing sports bra and brought a back-up, yes. [Edit: this was the one I wore to the hospital and was by far my favorite.]

> Do many of you do this, really? Who do you "hand" this to upon hospital entry?

Mine was a waste. Too much to type, but I wrote about this in a post recently.

> Gifts for nurses: do you give any?

I wish I had, and feel guilty for having forgotten to do so. :\

>Lactation consultant: My hospital doesn't have pre-register option to mark "yes, I want a consultant to help me" do you think that means someone will just be by to help me out? Or do I call ahead, ask?

Yes, call ahead and ask. Every hospital does it differently. At my hospital, for instance, the LC made rounds to every breast-feeding mama to answer any quick questions and see how things are going, but if you wanted a longer meeting with her you just let a nurse know and they'll set you up. But, again, every hospital varies in this, so call and ask.

u/stickyviki · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

I got these in a size L and think they are great so far. I wasn’t large chested pre-pregnancy, so was more into brallettes and these felt like a good transition. Was 34b now a 36c-d.

Important to note-still pregnant. So don’t know how they work for nursing per se (clip convenience, etc) but they do give good support. I was just too big for my regular bras, didn’t see the point in buying maternity then nursing bras, so I just went straight to the nursing bras.

These are the exact ones I got, they look the same but different brand than your link : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YGSEHC4?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf.

u/MayorFartbag · 5 pointsr/ABraThatFits

I have this bra that I got when I was pregnant and I am still wearing it now that I am nursing. It is my absolute favorite bra in terms of comfort and support. I am currently wearing a 36k, so if any of you ladies with large breasts are reading this, I want to let you know that this bra, and others of this brand, are pretty great pregnancy/nursing bras.

u/writerdust · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

If these are the ones you're talking about on Amazon, I bought them. They're not particularly attractive, but they're comfortable and supportive. I'm a 36C heading towards D now, for reference- I think if I was much bigger, I would need more support. I also think the pads will get a little bumpy as I keep washing them, but I'm going to switch them out for nursing pads soon anyway so I'm not too concerned. For $25 bucks, they work and like another bumper said, I don't want to spend too much money till my milk actually comes in and my boobs explode.

u/quaith · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Elomi Smoothing is the only model I can think of that fits almost all your criteria. Elila has a similar style that starts at a 36 band; but since the major brand review/complaint is their bands run firm, it might work. Freya Pure is a molded nursing bra with flexi-wires that might be worth a try; the Cake Croissant is a similar construction, but both are a bit above your desired price point.

If you're willing to compromise on the molded aspect, the Panache Sophie has amazing support for a wireless. Royce and Cake also offer a plethora of wireless nursing styles.

u/janae0728 · 1 pointr/InfertilityBabies

I bought a three pack of nursing bras from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Lightly-Wirefree-Maternity-Breastfeeding-Pink-Black-Beige/dp/B01EFNPD7W/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=nursing+bra&qid=1573305338&sprefix=nursing&sr=8-4) as soon as I was popping out of my normal bras, which was at like 8 weeks. I just couldn’t justify buying regular bras for a relatively short period. I’ve loved these. Way more comfortable than the underwire I was used to, supports me well, and I have room to grow.

u/k_tiara_von_lobster · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I have this nightgown in black and pink, and I really like them. They ship to Quebec, but it takes a while because they're from China.

And Kindred Bravely nursing bras are the best for night time. They are so soft and comfortable.

u/Mayoskittens · 3 pointsr/December2019bumpers

My fav bras right now are nursing bras I bought on Amazon. They are super supportive.

> It's pretty nice. I have this one. Pretty comfy for an underwire bra, good support, and the inside of the cup seems to be lined with a material that would stop light leaking (though I haven't tested this so don't quote me). I actually got mine on eBay for about half the price (new!).

My chest seems to be going through yet another growth spurt at 32 weeks, so I bought [this well reviewed 3-pack of nursing bras](Women's Full Cup Lightly Padded Wirefree Maternity Breastfeeding Nursing Bra Size L, 3PCS/Pack(Pink-Black-Beige) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPD7W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_FNsAybWFAQS96) on Amazon. They haven't arrived yet, but they look comfy enough to wear for the next two months of maternity and then get me started in the postpartum time. For what it's worth, I started with a 34C pre-pregnancy and am now probably a 38D. My L sized sports bras still fit just fine. I switched to bras with no underwire by week 10 due to boob growth.

u/easy2memorize · 2 pointsr/breastfeeding

My favorite bras are also the stretchy ones from Target. I think the brand was Medela Basics. I tried ordering a different Medela line from Amazon and it just wasn't the same :(

The closest I have come to that nice stretchy Target bra is this from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPF20/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2xfsyb5D5FY3A

Honestly, I don't know my bra size anymore, but I was a D before getting pregnant and the XL works great for me. If you take the silly pads out, this bra is very similar to the Target one.

u/sweetpea319 · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

I like stretchy underwire free bras because the structured ones never seem to fit for more than a day for me with changing breasts. I am a 36 DD and love these. iLoveSIA 3pack Nursing Bra They stretch, are padded, and you can nurse and sleep in them. My only issue is they have a higher neck and I don't love my shape in them. But they make the girls and my nursling happy.

u/TangiestIllicitness · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

Have you seen this Kindred Bravely? It's S/M/L sizing, but each has a "regular" and "busty" cup size available, which is awesome. I really wish more brands would get on board with that!

u/Jenmlot · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I have this pumping attachment that hooks onto my nursing bra. They're not made by the same company so it doesn't actually "snap" on but it stays fine. You can use one side to hold the pump and pull the other side down like you would a normal nursing bra. I've double pumped with it and it works great.

Check out the Hofish bras, I'm not sure what size you are, but underwires started to really bother me when I got to your stage in my pregnancy. And then I got the Hofish bras from Amazon and my life became so much better. Plus they were reasonably priced and are also nursing bras! If you aren't crazy massive like me, your boobs will still look amazing in them! My breasts are very large so they aren't spectacular butttttt I don't have uniboob and I'm not too saggy in them!

I'm a 34H (UK) and the XL fit very well.

u/Mettephysics · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Busty, nursing mom chiming in. You actually would have more versatility than I do(smaller cup than me: but these two are my favorite:

I'm not sure you can get them on amazon.ca but that Royce bra especially is so awesome for changing bust size. If you love it and can't get it I'd be willing to order it on my prime account and ship it to you at cost.

u/missmuggins · 3 pointsr/breastfeeding

I bought these bras while pregnant and they've served me very well as a BF mom. I wear one to work and unclip it to put my hands-free pumping bra on over it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YGSECLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_I6-XBbWM2E7PS

Start pumping when your baby is about 2 weeks old. Just try to get in one pumping session per day. Some days you won't pump at all and that's totally fine. Goal is to build something of a freezer stash before you go back to work so there's less pressure on you to keep up with the baby.

And take care of yourself. I'm currently trying to figure out how to do this because breastfeeding and working is hard. Worth it, but hard. Currently considering how to work a monthly massage into my schedule... Wish me luck.

u/petrifiedtreesap · 1 pointr/breakingmom

First go to r/ABraThatFits and make sure you are wearing the right size. I did and I went from 38 DD to a 34GG. This is my favorite nursing bra and it fits perfectly. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0011ZX6JU/ref=cts_ap_1_fbt?pi=SL110&dpPl=1&dpID=41TsfHbjeHL&dpPlWS=1

They're the same style that Motherhood Maternity sells, but much cheaper! And they're super comfy.

u/Goddess_Keira · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

Where did you purchase it? It should certainly be available in that size but perhaps they don't stock it or were out of stock. Another seller should have it in that size, if you want to try it to compare. Amazon has it with free shipping, although no free returns on this one.

u/sunnyinthesouth · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

Sure! I wanted to wait until after baby was here to invest in good nursing bras as I know my size will probably change so I didn't mind going the cheap route for the last few weeks.

I started off pregers at 36d then I jumped up a size at 3 month. At 5 months I could tell those bras were getting tight. I read the reviews on a lot off bras and these looked promising. They are soooo comfortable. I have never not worn a wire bra. They keep the girls in place while not being too tight or letting the jiggle.

u/xmissjillx · 7 pointsr/pregnant

Bra struggle is intense when pregnant! I needed new bras the first trimester (dang those things grow fast!). I found a brand on amazon was a huge help. They’re technically nursing bras, but they’re stretchy and supportive. They’ve lasted my entire pregnancy and have held up well. This is the version I bought, but they have a “full coverage” version too.

These are awesome for me. They come with bra extenders because I don't know how big I'll get. I'm 25 weeks. I'm a 36c pre-pregnancy and got a large. They're so comfortable and the pad helps hide my huge pregnancy nipples.

u/yellin · 3 pointsr/BabyBumps

Most maternity stores (Motherhood etc) will fit you and generally be "supportive" (oh god I'm funny). Don't think you only have to buy maternity bras though. Anything in your size will do, but you may want to avoid underwire while they're still growing.

Not sure if you can get away with it for work, but I love these for when I'm between sizes and around the house.

These for sleeping, this for everyday / light exercise and these nursing tanks- 2x works for my 40 H boobs!

If anything for the hospital just soft bras, like a sleeping bra—I honestly went braless most of the time unless we had visitors!

u/aceinva · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

I've been loving this one: http://www.amazon.com/Elomi-Womens-Smoothing-Underwire-Nursing/dp/B00L4AKFNW

It works for pumping too-holds the flanges in place really well.

I just ordered 3 from amazon and returned the ones that didn't fit.

u/gessogesso · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I wouldn't necessarily say I have sensory issues, but I cannot stand an uncomfortable bra. Also, for some reason the skin on my chest/breast area is super sensitive and gets rashy if I wear crappy fabrics...

This is my favorite nursing bra. I have three and find that they are passable for work, even, because they have removable pads for coverage/shape.

I was a 36C post-pregnancy and am a 38D right now. I wear the large.

u/sarmurpat6411 · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I bought this pumping bra thing and I really like it for pumping at work. You wear a nursing bra, then this thing clips into the clips of your bra, so you don't have to change to a pumping bra or take off your shirt. Pretty convenient IMO.

u/averydifferentname · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

This is my favorite. I wish I'd bought three of them instead of three different ones.

I bought these because my formerly VS 34DDD were growing out of control (I ordered a 34G underwire bra in a style recommended by r/abrathatfits from Poland and wound up growing out of it in two weeks). They're firm enough to be supportive but stretchy enough that I think they'll still fit even when my milk comes in. And they have nursing clasps so they should be wearable postpartum, too. And you really can't beat the price!

They're not that cute and they don't push up, but they don't flatten me, either. And at this point, uh, I don't really need any pushing up.

Don't buy regular bras right now. Have her buy soft nursing bras. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01EFNPD7W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1574529926&sr=1-1&pi=SL140_SY180_CR0,0,140,180_QL70

Then when she stops breastfeeding she can go back to regular bras. It was a wonderful feeling

Would something like this work for you?

It's what I've been using. 32 B pre pregnancy, 34 C ish when I delivered/when I'm full of milk. They're pretty comfy and super reasonable. The pads come out if you want. I started with them in but got annoyed with folding them down to pump or let little man eat.

these

I’ve lived in these since my last pregnancy. The band extenders come in especially handy since your rib cage will expand. No underwire, removeable cups, nursing access for after baby comes, and they are comfortable enough to sleep in. Cheap too. In my experience they just grow and grow and grow 😳

I can't say enough good things about the Bravado Seamless Nursing Bra. The are so comfy and completely hide nursing pads when I wear them. I am one that is self conscious when my nips show through my bra and shirts and this bra makes the ladies look good. :)

I had two nursing bras when LO was born, plus two nursing PJs. The PJs were garbage because they were too loose, so pads won't stay on my boobs and I leak all over. I also didn't have pads right away, so I leaked a ton and was doing the laundry twice a day until I got pads and 3 more bras. I also have an underwire nursing bra but I don't like it for nursing, it doesn't fold out of the way nicely. I will probably use it mostly after I go back to work and need access to pump, as it does give better structure.

Edit to add:. I bought a set of three nursing bras from Amazon because I also hate spending money on under wear. They work well as the name brand of the same style I bought from outlet mall: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01EFNPD7W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481823661&sr=1-1&pi=SX200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=41slO5CxWoL&ref=plSrch

I just got some a few weeks ago, maybe at 33 weeks and I do not regret it! My current size is on the smaller end of the spectrum for the size I ordered, so I think they should still be good for when my boobs get even bigger. I've started wearing them every day just because they're so comfy and now I realize how much my boob pain was directly attributed to my too small regular bras. I got these ones on Amazon:

I got these ones

It looks like they're just soft cups you can pull out and put nursing pads in.

These are my favorite nursing bras. They stay put really well and are super comfy (they're pretty close to sport bras) but you'd still need to wear disposable nursing pads. Leaking does suck though :(.

Bought this nursing one https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B000YQJD3U/ref=ya_aw_oh_bia_dp?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it's currently the most comfortable one I own. No wires and boobs don't get squashed together.

I've been wearing these since week 8 or so of my pregnancy. I'm normally a 32DDD or something ridiculous and I'm filling out a size large. I will say- the boob shape it gives you isn't the best but idk how good my boobs could look right now while still wearing a comfy bra. They are massive.

Anita makes some nursing bras that might work for you and are available on Amazon. Their sizing is a bit different from UK sizing, so you'll want to try the 32H and 32I, I think.

This one is currently $33 in white/32H: http://www.amazon.com/Anita-Maternity-Microfiber-Nursing-5068/dp/B0011ZX6JU/

34J here. My favorites have been the Bravado Essential Embrace and the Bella Materna Anytime in the "Full cup" option. Typically anything that only comes in S/M/L/XL is an immediate no, but the full cup option seems to do it for me.

My Panache Sophie nursing bras seem to be quite shallow: http://www.amazon.com/Panache-Womens-Sophie-Nursing-Bra/dp/B00FEFYUI4
