A suggestion from my personal experience: I was lusting after a key holder, but I bought this cheap one from Amazon to test whether the key holder life was for me... aaaand I learned it wasn’t. I like carrying smaller purses, and the key holder took up way too much room.

You might install a z-wave button that would trigger a disarm routine. It could be hidden somewhere in the garage or, possibly in some type of wall mounted box where you have to enter in a code, whether that be by keypad or some other way, to keep it secure.

A last option, would to also obtain a cheap smartphone, use on wifi, setup a screen lock code, and use the SmartThings app in order to disarm from the garage.

Not for me. I bought these chains last year and now I never have to worry about dropping my keys or having them fall out of my pocket ever again.
I use the other chain for my wallet too, so no one can pickpocket me either.

As a random aside, when I had keys for Receiving this key coil with a Carabineer is what I would use. The Caribineer stays clipped to your belt and you can use your keys with the coil. It prevents you from leaving your keys anywhere but still lets you use them.

I would cut his hair, and keep it short until he grows out of this habit, but I'd also work with him to modify his behavior.

When he gets upset get down on his level and grab his hands so he can't hit and help him fill in the blanks for how he's feeling. "I know you wanted to go the park. Are you upset we can't go to the park?" "It's ok. Mommy is sad too."
