I'm linking my favorite products!

Warning: if you hand write, you're going to be writing A LOT. I feel like I learn better when I do my class notes by hand, but I do have a hard time keeping up with the pace of the class. Each professor's teaching style has an impact on the way you take your notes. Be prepared to be flexible. (I hate that my note system is not uniform across my classes, but I know it is better that way)

If you like pen-and-paper:

These spiral notebooks have durable brightly colored covers that will survive your backpack, and it is a good idea to keep your notes organized by subject. The paper is thick enough that good highlighter (which I will also link) won't bleed through.

These erasable pens are great. They write very smoothly and erase cleanly--NOT at all like the crappy blue erasable pens of our youth. If you take notes in your textbook, these pens are the way to do it. I love them so much that I was having them shipped from Japan before they even hit the US market.

These standard pens are my go-to for anything that I don't want to be erasable. They write smoothly, and dry quickly enough that they don't smudge or transfer (I'm not sure for left-handed people though).

This mechanical pencil is what I use when I can't use pens. I like that it uses .5mm lead so that your writing can be small and precise. The barrel is large so it is comfortable to write with for extended periods of time (think blue-book exams).

These highlighters are the best. The colors are intentional mild/pastel so that they do not distract from other information on the page, but are easy to spot when you're looking for your highlights. They don't bleed through paper unless it is toilet-paper thin. When they do bleed through very very thin paper, the mild colors make it so that it is not a distraction.

If you like pen-and-paper, but are afraid of your notes being lost or stolen:

Rocketbook Everlast Notebook coordinates with an app that lets you create a digital copy of your notes. Scan a picture of the page, and the QR code on each page tells the app where to send a SEARCHABLE .pdf copy of your handwritten notes. It works with Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, OneNote, OneDrive, Trello, Slack, box, Google Photos, and email. Best of all, the notebook is completely reusable! (As long as you use writing tools from Pilot's Frixion line) Once you've filled the book, you wipe down the plastic pages with a hot damp towel and you can use the book again. I've filled and reused my Rocketbook 4 time so far, and the pages are still in great condition. I send my notes to Google Drive and OneNote, and I've never had any problems.

These highlighters can be used inside the Rocketbook, or on regular paper.

If you're thinking about going digital:

Your school might provide access to note taking programs. My school provides the full Office 365 Online suite, so I used OneNote. I was a pen-and-paper person in undergrad, and it pains me to switch to digital, but I just need that copy/paste functionality.

Textbook Supplies:

These sticky flags just came in the mail the other day, and I am loving them for use in my textbooks. I HATE writing in my textbooks, so instead I use these sticky flags to point at lines my professors emphasize in class.

These lined sticky notes are what I used when I just can't avoid adding notes to my casebooks. I avoid the "super-sticky" post-its because casebook pages are thin, and the super-sticky adhesive tears the pages when you reposition notes.

This book stand lives in my backpack now. When I started 1L year my back and neck hurt all the time from hunching over my casebooks for hours every day. This book stand makes it so the book comes to my face, instead of my face to the book. My posture is much better.

Reading glasses are something worth looking into and talking to your eye doctor about. After just one semester of staring at books and screens all day, I went from needing a mild prescription to see long-distance to needing full-on bifocals. I linked some glasses that will magnify your textbooks up close and and also filter out the blue light from screens. Talk to your doctor.

If you are assigned soft-cover reference materials, like The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, or Rule of Contract Law, you can take those books to FedEx or UPS, and they can spiral-bind them for you so that they lay flat and are easier to flip through. This can save you so much time on an exam.

Most importantly, have a planner.

You can get one from the store, you can print pages on line, you can leave yourself sticky-notes, or you can write your to-do list on your hands, whatever. No matter how you record it, it is crucial to have plan and stick to it. You're about to be hit with an overwhelming amount of conflicting obligations and opportunities, and there will always be something you ought to be working on. Plan and schedule your study time. Take time away to take care of yourself, and make a note to keep up with friends and/or family. You're never going to have "free time" in law school, but you can definitely have some flex time if you make a conscious effort to make room in your schedule.

Last: you don't need any of this stuff to be successful. Don't worry about what other people are doing, or even what the school tells you to do. If you feel like you do your personal best with a #2 pencil and loose leaf paper, then do that. Paying attention and managing your time wisely are far more important than having the perfect highlighters and the most organized planner.

Are you sure you want to make her talk about all the parts of her that she finds unattractive? Some women might enjoy that, but unless she's said that she's into that sort of humiliation, it might take her out of the mood. If you're looking for an excuse to punish her in a fun way though, I've had a boyfriend who spanked me for breaking arbitrary rules we set up, so you could always set up something like that. Things like if I purposely went and made a mess with something I'd get spanked, so sometimes I'd purposely just make a small mess somewhere. It could also be done with you have to answer trivia questions right. You could also just do a role play or something like that with an excuse to spank her.

As for how to tie her up, you could always tie her to the bed posts, but that's not good if you want to spank her too, but it might be good for writing on her. You could also just bind her hands and feet, that way her mobility is greatly reduced, but you can still move her around as needed. That sounds like a good option for what you are describing. Here (NSFW) is a list of some bondage positions, but some of them are very complex, and not all of them are for everyone, so you could work your way up to some of them, but I don't know that all are recommended to first timers.

>When I worship her body and tell her all the things I love about her I planned on making her constantly repeat all of the things I say about her as if she was saying them to herself. (Example, I say, "You have amazing breasts" and she would repeat back, "I have amazing breasts") Is this a Good idea or bad?

It could be. You know your wife. I wouldn't be against it.

>I thought about maybe incorporating some body writing into all of this, mainly writing down all of the good things she/I say on her respective body parts, so that way for the next couple days she will see/read all the amazing things she/I said each time she looks at herself. I have never down anything like this so what kind of marker should I use etc.?

That might actually be pretty sweet! I haven't done a lot of body writing that I intended to last a long time, but I just googled it and apparently, they exist: https://www.amazon.com/SportSafe-Waterproof-Ink-Skin-Marker/dp/B01MSPLT0E

I use pretty fine tipped markers to color them. They are very detailed and fine, so using a paint brush would be difficult for me. Specifically, I use these. I recently bought a new set because I lost a couple from my original set, but I bought my original set in 1998. And they still work great. Amazing.

There's certain things re: control that you can learn in singing class. Also, the vocal exercises are good for extending your range and whatnot. I do have vibrato, and I have pretty good control of it. I can ramp it up, or back it down, or cut it out completely. I'm not sure of the biomechanics of it, actually. I've just been practicing with it for a really long time. Honestly, when people don't control it very well, it tends to sound really awful to me. "NEEDS MORE TRAINING," my inside voice screams.

This bit is interesting from Wikipedia:

In the apparatus there are three different voice vibrato processes that occur in different parts of the vocal tract. Peter-Michael Fischer vibrato types defined by place of production:

  • The vocalis muscle vibrates at a frequency of 6.5 to 8 Hz.

  • The diaphragm vibrates at a frequency below 5 Hz vibrato.

  • A combination of the two, resulting in a vibrato whose frequency is between 5 and 6.5 Hz vibrato.

I never thought about it as being so precise. I appreciate that you enjoy singing, though. It can be quite relaxing. :)

  1. When I was in high school, the one class I felt I could be myself in was Web Design. Every other class I'd be pretty quiet and generally just do my work and move on. But Web Design allowed me an outlet for my weirdness haha. I had it first thing in the morning, and then I also went during my study hall to help out with the other students (I caught on really quickly so I was able to use what I learned in first bell to help).

I don't necessarily think most people liked me but I still wasn't afraid to be myself. And especially during the second semester (my study hall changed to a different bell period) I got to spend some time with my friends and have fun.

The teacher was also the athletic director so we would do odd jobs for him based on things he wanted/needed for athletics and whatnot. I was really really into Andy Samberg at that point and The Lonely Island released their album, and I decided to make We Like Sportz the official Web Design anthem. Only my teacher and my friends went along with it, really...the other students thought I was ridiculous and that it was too damn early in the morning to be blaring it.

So yep. Not super exciting. Just one of my best memories from high school.

  2. Most wonderful time

  3. HAPPY SCHOOL YEAR WOOHOO. May it be the best yet!

  4. I have a couple things.

Mom of severe ADHD boy right here!

It is seriously likely that all of the books on ADHD written with Dr's with their snooty Phd's in the world will not help you. Every ADHD child is super unique. One thing that that I noticed on you list are the teething necklaces on your lists. It appears as though your daughter requires a tactile stimuli via her mouth. My son is the same, he is 12. He has even chewed off his fingernails just to get that stimuli. The one that that I can recommend for that is a hemp knotted necklace; one that is knotted tightly. You can hang any of the fun teething baubles on it and they look less like something for a toddler.

The wobble seats are an either or for a child,. They have little nubby things on them that can become extremely uncomfortable for most people, your little bug included. However they do stimulate blood flow to your bum and may be conducive to a cute(er?) tush. I'm not sure how literate or situationally aware she is, but I've found that their curiosity knows no bounds. As such their minds are doing a bajillion miles a minute and they come up with question after question after question. I've always answered my son in truth, in full, and usually scientifically. Even if it is a question that make you go, "UGH!, or "Please, no!" Also, structure, an enforced schedule, and visual reminders are awesome. I have dreamt of having this and these to write out the weekly schedule so that my son knows exactly what is happening and when.

If I have been any help, I am very glad. If I have not, sorry for wasting your time on the read. If you have anything you want to bounce off of me, or talk about, I'm around, just PM. You will likely have to remind me who you are though.

Also there is an /r/adhd subreddit. Some members are adamant and downright viscious that an ADHD child should not be on any kind of schedule - EVER; I treat them with a grain of salt. Just a friendly FYI.

Goodluck internet stranger and friend.

I can use any of these from my new semester wishlist.

Organizational stamps for my planner. I need to stay organized this semester so this would definitely be helpful.

Retractable highlighters multiple colors. I color code everything when it comes to school so this is helpful.

Colorful Pens I love these pens and there's so much colors. It goes well when I color code things, especially in my planner and are so much fun to use as well.

You can choose which one if I win. Thanks for the contest and woohoo Mojito Monday!

Here's some cute little kittens for good measure. I hope you enjoy them.

No problem, my pleasure!

This is the set I have from Staedtler. I don't know them to have bigger sets for the metallic ones.

There's also this set of fineliners from Staedtler, but they have such a tiny point, they're only god for small details honestly.

And for Posca there's also this huge set, but I honestly think this is an overkill.

Depending on where you are from, I think you can also go to a local library and see f they have an open stock for any of these markers and just buy whatever you like after testing them...

You can also try the even more expensive sets, but honestly, I don't think they're worth it.

Copic markers

Another too expensive set of markers: Chameleon

Some of my friends bought these too: Tombow dualbrush

Posca and Staedtler have the most affordable and awesome markers though.

I was schooled first by my dad. He is a super smart guy who won on Jeopardy once! He instilled a love of reading and learning in me from day 1. He taught me that I should always strive to be better in everything that I do. I am the driven person i am today because of him! I know my little Munchkin woukd love these Sharpies for all of her art projects!! She loves doodling on everything :) Thanks for the contest!

I played 1e and 2e for many years, and every group I was in always used theater of the mind. When I returned to D&D a year ago, the group I was playing with used a battle mat and minis and it was a revelation for me: I really like being able to see where all the creatures are, and having a good set of wet-erase markers means we can draw anything we need to on the mat. When I started DMing again, I bought a battle mat and a set of markers and it makes things very easy, especially for younger players (one of my groups is 4 11-year-olds). Being able to make a custom mini (using something like HeroForge) means that everyone can get a mini that really expresses their character concept, which helps people get invested in the game. Also, Lego minifigures are almost exactly the right size, which is awesome, and you can print your minis on paper as well (better for monsters, IMO).

Having said all that, Sly Flourish has a really good guide to Theater of the Mind combat and there's a lot to recommend it.

u/beatrixotter · 7 pointsr/sex

You know, it's not often that a /r/sex post will trigger a new interest in me... but wow, I think I could really enjoy this. Haha. Hmmm.

I don't think a partner has ever written on me before, though. My absolute favorite pen to use on paper is this. In terms of washability, I might try some good old Crayola fine lines. The ink in them won't be too dark, though.

u/banditranger · 2 pointsr/Coloring

Pens dry out eventually. That can cause the uneven coverage.

The pens look kinda like [pentel color pens ](Pentel Color Pen, Set of 36, Assorted (S360-36) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E6F108/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ZFAEybC30B4EV). They come in different sized sets depending on how many colors you want. I have a set that is 10 years old and stored properly still works great. I Store my pens laying down flat (not standing up in a cup) and in a plastic bin with a lid.

I have recommended these to many people for a first marker set. Everyone has been happy so far.

The have bright vibrant colors and fine tips for getting good detail.

u/Andkaatewaslike · 7 pointsr/ADHD

+1 for Staedtler and Le Pen!

I also like the Japanese Frixion pens because they're erasable! They're not fine point, which stinks, but they're felt tip! I hate gel pens :/ The ink will also disappear if it gets too hot! So if you live in a very warm climate, they may not be for you. Haha.

Also, if you are feeling lucky and you search through the dirt cheap pen sets on Amazon, some of them turn out to be REALLY awesome. I've found a few of my favorite pen sets that! Definitely had my share of duds though...

u/Cockring_Buddha · 1 pointr/sexover30

First off, let me say that you are incredibly awesome. You should be worshiped for your efforts.

You mentioned that you're "not really in a dominant/submissive type relationship". Are you sure you're not into the power play aspect? It sort of sounds like it's where you're headed. He helps to determine your daily rituals in this regard. He plays the role of the caring "Daddy", enforcing the proper behavior for your own good. If you misbehave or forget, he provides a punishment to help your do better the next time.

Bratty girls need lots of reinforcement. ;-)

This doesn't have to be a "serious thing". It can be as fun as you two decide to make it. But honestly, it sounds like you'd like it to be a bit more serious (which in my opinion is sensational), with more participation on his part.

Such punishments could include:

  1. Stand in the corner, hands on the walls, pushing that exposed ass out, until he says you're done.

  2. OTK (over the knee) spankings.

  3. Have a dedicated toy that gets inserted for X amount of time.

  4. Lie on kitchen/dining room table, legs spread in front of him, while he eats dinner/breakfast/lunch.

  5. You/He writes naughty phrases on your skin, such as around your pussy or on your ass.

Maybe you could make some sort of wheel spinner, to randomly determine your punishment.

u/-Era · 4 pointsr/EDC

oh hey the university i applied to but didn't get into whose rejection caused my mother to cry ahaha...

i'm all about tea tbh!! i usually pick up some tazo passion tea for the summer months, green tea bags from costco for year-round, and mulled apple herbal tea or chocolate chai herbal tea from president's choice, for the winter months. i love tea because i can be kind of forgetful and leaving some tea in your travel mug for a day or two isn't a big deal, whereas coffee or hot chocolate can go rancid pretty quick. ;n;

my zebra mildliners are ordered online and shipped from japan!! they were i believe $8 or so after tax, so a bit pricey but they were a small splurge and i really like them. (i paid $15 because i chose expedited shipping because i wanted them in time for finals oops.) they're double ended with a bold tip chisel side, and a fine tip felt side. and they're called mildliners because they're pale pastel colours that tend to be easier on the eyes! you can find them here.

i'm super picky about my pens in general (can't stand anything over 0.5mm) so my pencil bag consists of:

  • pentel slicci 0.3mm black
  • sharpie fine pens black
  • zebra m-301 0.5mm pencil
  • zebra f-301 bp 0.7mm black (the only 0.7mm pen i own!!)
  • pilot g-2 0.38mm black
  • pentel 2B 0.5mm refill lead (i prefer softer and darker graphite)

  1. Book coverage: Waterdeep is a lot like a broad template at times - like reading the Wikipedia recap of a TV episode. Many aspects are fully fleshed out. Others say "The players are tasked with finding three bandits who stole a necklace" and then you just have to figure that out yourself. Get ready to improv!

  2. I would only consider doing voices if you think you have 30+ unique voices in you already. Otherwise, they'll all sound mostly the same, and your players may get confused. Learn a few of the most important characters (the main villains, vital NPCs, etc) and make a voice for them. For everyone else, generic fantasy British works most of the time!

  3. Buy one of these (https://www.amazon.com/Chessex-Role-Playing-Play-Mat/dp/B0015IQO2O) and a set of wet erase markers (https://www.amazon.com/Wet-Erase-Overhead-Transparency-Markers-Assorted/dp/B00006IFGX/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=wet+erase+markers&qid=1564073953&s=gateway&sr=8-5) and never worry about battle maps again - unless you REALLY want to make unique and custom maps for every single thing the players see. I find that the flexibility of being able to quickly draw out a big rectangle with some trees and barrels on one of these maps for those encounters you couldn't have planned on outweighs the benefit of having a detailed battle map you custom-make for everything (unless you just have the time and money to do so!). The official Dungeon Tiles are also great, and you can lay them on top of the map I linked earlier. (https://www.amazon.com/DUNGEON-TILES-REINCARNATED-CITY/dp/0786966297/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=d%26d+tiles&qid=1564074069&s=gateway&sr=8-4)

Also, check out the official Waterdeep: Dragon Heist subreddit for an entire host of questions, answers and resources just for that book. https://www.reddit.com/r/WaterdeepDragonHeist/

I've sold a ton and bought a ton over the years on CL. I'm reluctant to let people in my house but for amps and guitars, I figured it was sort of necessary. I've bought from other people this way as well. When people come over, I have the gear near the front of my house so they don't go all through my house to get to my guitar room. I should probably consider the guitar center approach but have been careless and lazy and just have them come over. I've been lucky so far but if I were giving advice to myself, I'd say try to meet at a guitar shop or something.

Alternatively, if you had an adapter for your car, you might be able to plug a small amp in and test it somewhere in public.

I have always dealt in cash. For large bills, I got one of these to make sure I wasn't getting fake bills:
http://smile.amazon.com/Sharpie-1778830-Counterfeit-Detector-Marker/dp/B0042ET0LU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452111105&sr=8-1&keywords=counterfeit+pen

I use Ebay to gauge prices. I look only at sold listings in the past few months to see what range the item is actually selling for (including shipping). I look at about the lowest price it has sold for and that's the highest I'll pay for something. It's also about where I start pricing my item. Generally, local sales are less expensive than Ebay. If you want the best money, you sell on Ebay and take the hit with their charges. The net for the seller is about the same, the buyer gets a break buying locally.

If my local market is flooded with the item I'm selling (I had an amp last year and there were 2 others of the exact same model not selling in my local CL), I'll list it on Ebay instead.

That's all my advice. good luck!

I had a very unique style of notes, but here's what worked best for me:

  • Sharpie Pens
  • 5 Folders, one for each class
  • Cornell note paper

So in my junior year I realized that I hated carrying around hundreds of pages of blank paper all the time and so I only printed up about ten pages of note paper at a time. I found a template for Cornell style notes and just printed out my own note paper each week. The multicolored pens worked great for me because I could look back and my notes would all be organized. For example, raw notes were in black, equations in blue, examples in green, questions in red, and anything related to an exam was in every color. Then, I just followed the Cornell note-taking style for note review and it worked out great for me. I had well-organized notes (that people often asked for) and never had to lug around pounds of blank paper that I wasn't going to use.

tl;dr- colored pens for unique note items and self-printed Cornell notes

You can find more links to an example of how I took notes, as well as a link to a printable PDF for Cornell note paper here

I am in love with the Pilot Frixion pens! I have a black and a blue one 0.7 (0.35 mm) and they are amazing with my Leutchtturm1917 dotted. And I have a few cough of their Friction Colors for doodling / creativity. Oh and a pen loop to make sure I always have a pen!

Buy a calendar dry erase board and write all your assignments, appointments, due dates, etc. on it. Don't just buy a blank dry erase board, get one meant for calendars.

Buy a pack of multi-colored dry erase markers for each subject. That way when you look at the Calendar in a glance you can tell what is due when and what subject otherwise if it is all in black one tends to tune it all out. Keep the markers in a coffee cup right below the dry erase calendar.

Buy color matching notebooks for each subject.

My system: I have the calendar hanging on the wall right in front of my desk.

Microbiology: Green Notebook + Green Marker

Chem: Blue Notebook + Blue Marker

Ethics: Black Notebook + Black Marker

Calculus: Purple Notebook + Purple Marker

You'll find more and more that on Adderall one quite enjoys doing things like organizing fun little systems like that, and they do work very well.

Winter is coming

Everyone should have these especially if your artsy

I've never read any of these nor watch the series so I would love to give a try, I'm gonna admit I'm not a reader for fun kinda guy but I'd finished every book I picked up :)

Thanks for having the contest so nice of you thinking of us :)

These would make my day easier

I am a full time grad student, but in my downtime I do leather working. Sharpies are great for leather working as they don't smudge and show up even on darker leather. :)

Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike I really need these because all of mine have been stolen by my husband and friends!

That is really specific indeed. I looked around but couldn't find much. The only one I found has the puff ball and it's pretty expensive.

I suggest getting the white one from your amazon link and painting the red stripes with a Sharpie. Not even kidding! Good luck.

I carry a The North Face "Router Transit" (second generation) that holds a BE RED CROSS READY FIRST AID KIT, Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Wharncliffe w/CPM-20CV, Eagle Eyes X1R "warm", a [Kindle Paperwhite](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DLPWYB7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UlF1CbK87E6JV], Just Wireless 6,000 mAh Power Bank, ZEBRALIGHT H600Fc MK IV, TG Plasma Lighter, a couple Sarah Glove Emergency Disposal Ponchos and a small toiletries bag with Tylenol, toothbrush/paste, mouthwash and deodorant.

This is my daily carry, everywhere I go. I have a much more complete "Bug Out Bag" with a full change of clothes in the back of my truck. I would like to add a dedicated pry bar and maybe a fixed-blade knife to my bag but other than that feel pretty complete. Suggestions?

I bought a laminating machine for about $20. You could always just stick the sheet in a plastic protecting sleeve, they're about ~$3 for a pack of 25.

These are the pens I use, they don't wipe off as easily as dry erase and they write a very fine line, good for details.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SZ0YYU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You could always just print a bunch of copies of those sheets, especially if you have your encounters planned in advance. I just like to re-use my materials a lot so I don't have to refresh my gaming kit ever.

Btw, while I'm making feature requests, I'd love it if it was in black, with a neon marker (like this).

Just because it would be cool :)

I love drawing. These Sharpie Pens would be fucking AWESOME.

I love drawing with regular pens, but sharpie pens are the best. They possess some magical quality that make ANYTHING you draw look adorable/epic at the same time. If Jesus was an artist, I shit you not that he would have drawn with Sharpie Pens.

I have seizures about 5-10 times a day, I use my journal to track my triggers and my seizures in relation to them. I track how much sleep I get a night, how much water I drink a day, and how much screen time I have. Then on the page next to it, I track how long my seizures last, and what happens before them. It's a nice set up and I can keep an eye on what's been happening in my brain.

I find that I prefer using dot grid journals for this because of the way I chart. It is a really nice visual layout and it looks very clean.

I also prefer to use these pens when I'm journaling because the colors are super vibrant, but they don't bleed! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0752WWCTN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Y.JiDbAGPKZ9N

For the ultimate in satisfying sharpie experiences I will always recommend the retractable ones. Most satisfying pen-click action ever.

This is fun. I like easy. I don't think I even know what a loris is. Guess I will be spending the rest of my work day Googling them.

It seems that only certain permanent markers contain xylene. The King Size Sharpie as well as the Magnum Sharpie do, according to Wikipedia. The marker that they seem to be using is a big metal one like the King Size and Magnum so it is likely that the marker they're using does contain xylene. It also probably contains cresol, which is also very bad. A very large portion of his skin is covered in marker, marker that is likely more harmful than your typical permanent marker. I'd be pretty upset if someone covered a good portion of my body in highly toxic industrial solvents. I'm not a stick in the mud incapable of having fun, if there was an option that was non-toxic and equally as marking I might find the humor in it. I just wish people had more sense to know the harm these things can have on a person's health.

It looks like a Zebra mildliner. Granted, it looks like they only have two shades. I got a pack of 15 on Amazon, and they only had one grey, but I like all the other colors too.

u/DreamShrike · 1 pointr/Gunpla

I bought this marker set and paint all my Zaku eyes anymore. And I usually don't paint anything, so that's how easy and good it looks. It includes the standard Zaku eye pink, and the metallic green for cameras and gun sights!

mirrored views are covered by flipping the page, and I color code nets with multi colored hilighters but its mostly about having something that's flat bound and neat, which printed pages that are hole punched and placed in a ring binder just doesn't achieve, and I prefer blank pages available so I can doodle up new ideas on the go. I can bring those into Eagle when I get home to verify them then.

Gundam model kits are, well, model kits, of mechs from some anime’s. They look very unique, check out r/gunpla for more. These specific markers are simple to use: just run them into the lines and done! I got this set, which I would recommend: https://www.amazon.com/Gundam-Marker-Value-TAIYO-Corporation/dp/B00HY93GHY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1535925628&sr=8-2&keywords=gundam+panel+line+marker&dpID=41KeV7gp0LL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

Use gray for white, cream, etc. colors (I only used black here as a test); brown for red, yellow, green, etc.; and black for gray, brown, the rest.

Edit: they work well for tanks and terrain especially, where you don’t want to use a lot of wash but still want to have shadows. For them, I use a mix of this marker on the less deep shadows, and a bigger one on the deeper ones. Example: https://imgur.com/a/CycO1Wk the specific thick marker is the black one in this set: https://www.amazon.com/GSI-Creos-Gundam-Marker-Markers/dp/B0009AFN4Y/ref=sr_1_3?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1535926026&sr=1-3&keywords=gundam+panel+line+marker+set&dpID=51ay1SKBe8L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch I’m sure you can find one of these individually too, I’m just too lazy to find it right now.

Everyone needs a set of [ Zebra Mild liners! ] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0027MDL3C?cache=b00932cf90a3e93bfdaa28d39d9f1dfd&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1413296259&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1) They don't bleed through very much even on really thin paper and don't kill your eyes either!

I'm looking into getting a pack of gundam markers. specifically [this one] (https://smile.amazon.com/GSI-Creos-Gundam-Marker-Markers/dp/B0009AFN4Y/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1484805122&sr=1-4&keywords=gundam+marker) and have a question. It says the green is "metallic green" does that mean it has a shiny color?

What I'm trying to use it for is to cover up some nub marks that I wasn't able to properly get rid of via sanding on my [Julieta's Mobile Reginlaze HG] (https://smile.amazon.com/Bandai-Hobby-Julietas-Reginlaze-Building/dp/B01ICR1WHM/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1484806012&sr=1-1&keywords=julieta%27s+mobile+reginlaze) *The actual model is more green than in the amazon listing where it appears more blue-ish due to the lighting I think. Would the green in that marker pack work for that?

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/DoesAnybodyElse

Sharpie pen, not to be confused with the Sharpie ultra fine permanent markers. They are not the same ink as the permanent markers, but do have the same ultra fine point. They do not bleed, and they write like a dream. I have shitty handwriting, and these pens make it legible.

I've had these on my Christmas and Birthday lists for years. Family is always looking for good ideas for me but I'm still waiting.

Someone posted in the questions about color bleed on coloring books.

I found these too http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VY9U9W0/ref=s9_hps_bw_g229_i1

What scale do you mean? Are we talking combat maps or world maps?

I take it you mean combat/battle maps, in which case you can go a long way just by having a few different colors of markers. Black, brown, blue, green, and one of red/orange/yellow, and that's all you really need, something like this. Just draw borders of regions (here's the edge of the road, here's a campfire, here's a merchant's cart). Keep in mind that most of what's going on will never approach what your players are imagining, you just need it to be a basic representation of the battlefield.

u/ladybowler423 · 2 pointsr/CrossStitch

u/snackfalcon I use these bullet journal highlighters. They don’t bleed or smear too badly. Also they are light enough to see the symbol through and come in a lot of colors.
