They're tied together and I havent lost them in a year.

1. I really only treadmill run when the weather is below 55 degrees, otherwise I'd rather be on the road. I usually do a long slow run on Monday, medium pace medium distance on Wednesday with weightlifting, and then interval sprints on Friday followed up with whatever workout I do on the weekend.
   
   
2. I listen to podcasts when I'm on my work treadmill, I miss going to the gym because they always had TVs going that I could kill time with. I would try to up my pace on commercials and then slow it down during the show just to mix it up.
   
   
3. I listen to the Pat McAffee show (he can be a little vulgar, but he's awesome) and of course Baseball Tonight with Buster Olney
   
   
4. Honestly these are great 8 hour battery life and they don't slide out when I'm drenched in sweat.
   
   
5. For whatever reason after I had knee surgery treadmill running has been my go-to for training, and since using it for rehab it has always helped me learn my distance paces and lose weight. I will never crap talk treadmills again, I just recommend spending the money on a nice treadmill, there's a huge difference in a $200 machine versus a $2,000 machine.

You get what you pay for, there's some annoying feedback/whine when nothing is playing but it's masked when you have music on.

the cheap 20$ work for me, and everyone else I know. they are not buy it for life, but sound fucking amazing. tested the sound quality against beats and senheisers and some other stuff, with metal, classical, and some rap. they last a long time, and take abuse really well. have yet to break mine, and I am a musician, and a mechanic and beat my shit up. I am going to buy some backups just in case they stop making them. the bass is so strong and they seal so well I have to turn my eq flat and can't turn them up, and I am half fucking deaf, which means long ass battery life. they work with older phones too. I am honestly shocked at how good they have been. I like them over any others I have tried out.

I got a pretty affordable pair ($19-21) on Amazon from Otium for my boyfriend and he liked them so much that I got myself a pair too! They’re over the ear. I will find the link and edit with it in a sec.

Any recommendations for a pair of good bluetooth earbuds?

I was using these and they stopped working after about 6 months (granted, they were only $20 so I feel like they performed as per their cost would suggest).

I'm not sure if my philosophy should be to go with a cheap pair of earbuds (knowing they'll go through crap like sweat, rain, etc...) and expect to replace them every so often; or to invest more up-front in a nicer pair that will hopefully last longer. Thoughts and more importantly, recommendations would be very welcome!

The brand name is Otium. These are pretty close to the ones I got, if not exactly. I apparently have weird ears that buds don't like to stay in, so I have a hard time finding a decent pair of small headphones.

They're comfortable for working out. I don't run, but I think they'd be fine for running.

Those look pretty good, definitely higher quality then the ones I bought. The battery life on these ones is pretty good, usually last me a whole week on a charge. But having the over the ear portion really helps I think, because I dont have any issues with them being pulled out when I bench or anything else.

I see they became Amazon Choice in the meantime. They just seemed good at the time, I'm pretty happy with these. They're definitely nothing special.

I need some bluetooth earbud recommendations. Ive dug around Amazon and other subreddits for around half an hour and there are just too many options.

I just need a decent budget pair of bluetooth earbuds that has acceptable audio for its price. My budget is <$30. Im only going to be using these for listening to music (Im not an audiophile) and watching Youtube. I currently own a pair of Panasonic ErgoFit In-Ear Earbuds. Ive had them for about a year and they work great. I just get annoyed by all the wire.

For earphones I’ve always used the Apple wired earbuds. I’ve used decent over the ear monitoring headphones from Sony and AT so I have a baseline.

I’m curious if cheaper Bluetooth ones can produce accecptible sound for on the go and sport listening, or should I just go for the Apple AirPods.

I did try using a $15 battery Bluetooth receiver with my wired Apple EarPods: while the connectivity was strong, the audio was very different.
